In another thread, Matthew mentioned how he has only encountered bugbears once.
This got me thinking. What kind of encounters would you guys like to see? Not necessarily in say, the next session...but down the road, perhaps even months or years from now.

Any type? Or just standard?

Trolls are old-school.
While I've used one whilst DMing before, I've never ran across a death knight as a player. I always thought they were cool. The same can be said for minotaurs, gremlins, and the quaggoth. I even ran an entire Underdark campaign at one point and still didn't get the chance to use them.
And it's kind of cliche by now, I suppose, but I've only encountered a dragon twice, and both were the stereotypical evil red dragons. There are many different kinds of dragon in the MM and future suppliments that have gone to waste. I realise they should be made a rarity at best, but the name of the game is Dungeons and DRAGONS after all...
One final note. I haven't encountered an invisible stalker since the days of playing original D&D. Personally, I thought it was very silly how often they popped up in those old D&D modules, even worse, they would be prominent on many of the wandering monster charts.

Just a normal troll.

Let's see....
Trolls: I used trolls before I took my game online. I had a whole story arc about the Troll/Elf war going on in Gontoria. But since then, I suppose I haven't found a use for them. They tend to be swamp dwellers, and we haven't been in any swamps recently.
Death Knights: Never used one before, mostly because they are so powerful, and we have yet have any PCs in my online campaigns that exceeded level 6. Maybe, one day...down the line...
Minotaurs: I tend to shy away from using them, as they will be a playable race on Arkos, once I get it up and running.
Gremlins: Uh.....huh. I guess I've just always overlooked them. Maybe I can find a niche for them in Renosia.
Quaggoths: Since they have psionic powers, I don't use them. I don't use any psionic beings on Amtar (or any Soulspace world).
Dragons: Dragons are, naturally, quite rare--but especially so on Amtar. There is a big story behind why they all 'vanished' after the Eonian Empire was built. But it has not yet been revealed. So far, I've used two dragons on Amtar. Rudra the Copper and Inferno the Red (although technically, Inferno has not been encountered in the game itself, but he is there.)
Invisible Stalkers: I'm saving those for Crizza.

Don't forget Immer, he hit 7.

I don't count Immer. He did not reach level 7 until after the last session of OC3. Therefore, at no point in the game was he level 7.

What about a good ol' manscorpion?

Manscorpions are desert creatures, and we have yet to play in a desert setting. They'll probably show up in Rabbah.

Well, not too long ago, we encountered our first bugbear. Hey, that's something, right?
