In the arena. He was part of the lizardman's group, the Obsidian Stars. Talthul ran into him at some point.

I know the party's all ready run into zombies, but I just want to go on record for saying that I'd like another chance for some good, old fashioned zombie slaying. And maybe a ghoul or something else undead. Or maybe a vampire (if those exsist in this setting).

Vampires do exist in AD&D, yes. They are one of the most powerful and intelligent undead forces out there (second only to liches and death knights, I believe).
Incidentally, although it was never done by design, ghouls have appeared in EVERY online campaign I have ever done. In OC1, the party ran into a trio of them shortly after escaping the Dark Moon Army. In OC2, the party ran into some in the underwater temple near Hydris. In OC3, they encountered lacedons (marine ghouls). In NC1, a pack of ghouls controlled by a priestess of Shadowbite went nuts and attacked after the priestess herself was slain. And in NC2, a pack were haunting the mayor's house in Edge Elm.

Given that Renosia, Necros in particular, is a breeding ground of undead, I'd say the chances are high they'll bump into some ghoulies again sooner or later.

Yeah, I'm saving some of the real big undead stuff for Necros. I do intend to use some undead in the future of this game, though.

Oh, it was quite a bit, but, you know I'm always up for more undead encounters. ;-) Woot, though!

Oooo.... Looks fun. :-)
You know, one day, I'd also like to do a plot involving disease. Given that this is a Medieval sort of setting, and that the sanitation measures of the general populace never seemed all that great, it sort of makes sense that Renosia would be crawling with disease.

Disease is never as large a problem in AD&D settings as the real world's Middle Ages because of healing priests and clerics. This helps off-set it.
Of course, there are magical diseases that are far more potent, such as lycanthropy and mummy rot. And a disease that spreads and kills very quickly could easily get out of hand (especially if a town only has one priest), so it's still possible.

Or, even, in a town that has "only" a priest of Renos (I recall Aldofo saying something to the effect that being a priest of Renos doesn't lend itself to healing.)
