"Oh, we're quite skilled and competent," Iroas assures him. "And this would free you up for more important tasks."

He considers things for a moment, then nods. "OK, go ahead. I'll fetch you when your shift's over. Maybe I'll even bring by some uniforms," he laughs, gesturing to the ogre and other orogs. "Come on, boys, let's get a drink." They squeeze past the doorway into the stairway.

Once they are gone, Iroas lets out a breath. "I can't believe that worked," he admits. "Let's see these prisoners then. Maybe they can tell us more, and we can smuggle them out of here." He looks around the room. "Hmm, they never told us where the prisoners are..."

(OOC: Are there any doors in this room?)

Migor had to forcefully lock his jaw with his jaw, not to laugh, choking and whimpering. When the orogs are far enough he laugh. "God servant human.. is a funny human..."
he breath deeply to calm down. "Well. I guesss we can push forward and listen to whining and moaning. Maybe also smoke. Where ao come from, sometimes they burn the prisoners. Crispy and scary. Yep. Better not being a prisoner. That why I left. Yep"

There are three doors leading out of the room.

Iroas will choose whichever door he deems most likely to lead to the prisoners, and open it.

The door leads to a tunnel, which itself leads to another room, where three cell-like rooms have been excavated from the rock. Iron bars wall of each one, with a chain and padlock securing a swinging gate. Inside, some seventeen prisoners, mostly human and elven, stand huddled. On the party's entrance, they start to mutter and whisper.
"Wait! I demand attention!" shouts a Dwarven man in much finer clothing than the rest of them, though it is still ripped and dirty. "I am Bruldenthar, of the Mirabar delegation! I demand I be released!"

The dwarf narrows his eyes at Igor. "...what?"

"Mirabar delegation?" Iroas asks. "Back in Red Larch, I heard stories of a delegation going missing in the Sumber Hills." He looks to Migor and Braedon. "Weren't you two searching for missing people when we first met? Could they be the same delegation?" Turning back to the dwarf, he asks, "Fear not, we are here to help. How did you come to be locked up in here?"

"These criminals ambushed us south of Beliard, killing our guards," he spits. "They paid some common pirate scum with my books to get us ferried across the Dessarin River. We were attacked by bandits on giant vultures--"
"Giant vultures?!" Savra cries. "The Feathergale Knights have those..."
"DON'T INTERRUPT ME, GIRL!" Bruldenthar shouts. "They captured delegate Norvael, but the rest of us were taken here--I was, for some absurd reason put to work mining down here. And for what? There's not even any sort of valuable ore, just rocks! And those horrible orcs, and--well, I'm getting ahead of myself. Rhundorth and Teresiel were taken below; gods know what happened to them."

"Please, sir, keep your voice down, or we will be discovered," Iroas says to the dwarf. "So two of yours were taken below, and another was taken by the vultures? What about the rest of these folk?" he asks, gesturing to the other sixteen people in the cells. "Are they part of your delegation?"

Migor ponder. "So all of you are goodies captured by baddies who made you look like baddies." he try to simplify it. "So your friends are also might be baddies" Migor say to Savra. "But maybe they have a good reason to do bad things! Maybe someone forcing them! It could happen!"

"No, no, they are mere commoners," Bruldenthar explains. He narrows his eyes at Igor. "Where are you getting this idea that we're villains? Can you not see we are in prison?"

Not really sure what Migor is talking about, Iroas says to his companions, "For now, our top priority is to get these people out of here, and to safety. Can anyone here pick a lock? If not, we'll need to find a key."
