You know, even if Clerics are my favorite class, this is actually my first time using my Channel Divinity to Turn Undead. That was pretty cool

You did much better than I did. I turned the first one easily, but then the battle in the hall got ugly fast. I used Magic Stone to shotgun blast one of the zombies attacking the family, but George went down to the other. I stabilized him, but took a huge hit in the process and had to Cure Light Wounds myself, followed up by Protection from Evil to keep them off me. (Which means I used every spell I had except one just in this fight.) Shanna managed to beat her two opponents, and Nicholas was knocked out. So Shanna, my character and George's nephew teamed up to finish off the rest of the zombies. But Miles never woke up and got eaten in his sleep. I was down to 3 HP by that point, so things looked much more dire, too.

To be honest at one point I thought of Turning the first one, but I'm usually pretty stingy when it comes to abilities. I can't tell you the times I went down without having used my best abilities just because "I may need them later." I'm just happy that this time I actually needed them for real. Against the first zombie I thought about using Guiding Bolt when things were getting ugly, but I was scared of wasting one slot because of the disadvantage. Protection from Evil and Good was also a possibility I thought about, but with AC that low it seemed pointless. In the battle of the hall, waking Miles up was my first priority, both from a roleplaying angle (a sleeping person is defenseless), than from a metagaming angle (in 5e the more allies you have, the easier it is to win). I'm happy everyone is safe, if he or Nicholas had died I would have been upset ahah Question: just to be sure, George's family is composed by him, his nephew and the woman who was at the counter, right? Is there anyone else?

When I played, the DM didn't make it clear that Miles' door was open. He just said it was 'eerily quiet inside' which I took to mean he was not fighting off an enemy, and was therefore safe. My own reasoning was to protect the helpless level 0 NPCs over the ones who clearly had class levels and so had some means of taking care of themselves, so I focused on saving George and his family. Miles would turn out to just be the first of many deaths. By the time I finished the module, only one NPC I recruited was still alive. Anyway, there's George, Marco, Aubrey and five others. The module says nothing about the other five, or even offer names, just that they are family. I assume small children, maybe Marco's parent(s), as well? Regardless, definitely non-combatants. I'll flesh them out if necessary.

I see, I understand how that may have been confusing.
I hope I'll not mess it up now, I don't really know what to do...
Also, hmm what's the behavior of the undead? Are they just wandering aimlessy? Are they trying to enter the inn?

Daos, I was wondering... Could Giunona have any idea of what caused this outbreak? Like maybe rolling something like Arcana, History or Religion, I'm not sure.

Also, hmm what's the behavior of the undead? Are they just wandering aimlessy? Are they trying to enter the inn? Sorry, you edited in this question after I saw the post, so I didn't see it. They appear to be searching for people to attack. If they can't find any, they do wander around a bit aimlessly. Oddly enough, when they do find someone, they don't always go for the kill. She would see at least a couple of people being dragged away, kicking and screaming (if still conscious), heading north. Daos, I was wondering... Could Giunona have any idea of what caused this outbreak? Like maybe rolling something like Arcana, History or Religion, I'm not sure. I'd say at this point, she doesn't really have enough information to guess. It could be a spell, a curse, an evil priest, a necromancer, a powerful undead, a dark relic, or something else entirely. She'd need to learn at least something about the outbreak to even make an attempt.

O: wait then, I'm going to add something to my last IC post. As for the second question, I figured it out but I thought it was still worth asking

Ahahahah Nicholas stands to his full height and nods. "Yes, ma'am!" he says. "I'll do whatever I can to help!" I love him. I'm not saying you should use your new manual to prep for a polyamorous wedding between Giunona, Miles, and Nicholas, but I'm also not not saying it.

But...I took Shanna aside and lowered my voice to make sure no one else would hear us ;_; ugh, I should have spoken in Elvish, didn't think of that.

Unfortunately, Aubrey is an eavesdropper. She's honed her skills sharply as years as a barkeeper and general gossip.

Go ahead and make a persuasion check for Shanna.
