Yeah, that was really close. But on the bright side, Granker is all but guaranteed to level up after the first chapter of the next module.
By the way, I assume the party divvies up the treasure they found at the citadel (216 stl, 75 sp, 165 pp, 650 cp, and a gold cup decorated with steel wire inlay) amongst themselves? I assume you have the gold cup appraised and then sell it for more coin, as well?
If so, then everyone receives 92 copper pieces, 10 silver pieces, 33 steel pieces, and 23 platinum pieces. The leftovers (6 copper, 5 silver, 5 steel and 4 platinum) goes into the party pool.
(Also, who took the bone scroll case and the second crystal horn?)
You can look up the exchange rates in Tales of the Lance, but as a reminder:
100 CP = 1 STL 40 GP = 1 STL 20 SP = 1 STL 2 IP/BP = 1 STL 1 PP = 5 STL
With that in mind, go through your inventories and decide what you want to keep, appraise/identify, sell or buy in preparation for the next adventure.

My notes for the chapter: Title and ThemeThe title of this chapter, "Sorcerer" is another Stevie Nicks song. It was largely in reference to the Black Robed Sorcerer, Voss, who used to own the Citadel before he was killed by Renegade Hunters. Giant Trapdoor SpiderThe giant trapdoor spider was a random encounter I rolled up. It nearly got Kaelestia, but funnily enough, the traumatic event was later erased from her mind completely. Anyway, fun fact: Had the party climbed down its trapdoor, they would have found the remains of other adventurers down there, and one of them had an Oil of Disenchantment and a suit of Plate Mail +3 on it. These treasures were randomly rolled, too, and I was surprised that such good loot came from such a simple encounter. That's pretty rare for me. Large SpidersThe large spiders, though, were a planned encounter from the module. Each round the party spent in that altar room, there was a chance more would appear. I didn't expect the party to find the hidden cache of treasure under the altar, but they did, so congrats. That should more than make up for the lack of pay from this job. Mace and ArmorThe mace and armor that the party found, and that Sumina claimed for herself, were probably the most potent magical items in the module. I honestly didn't think anyone would find them, but Sha'al's elven senses came through. Twill's NicknamesAs I mentioned before, Sumina and Arthogate were the only party members to tell Twill their names when they met. So he had to make up names for everyone else. Hence, Mr. Green, Miss Elf Lady, Mr. Cowman, and Miss Cow Lady. It was kind of amusing at the end that he swore he'd never forget the party, but didn't know most of your real names. ObliviaxAt one point, Kaelestia lost her memory of the last 24 hours and all of her spells. The culprit remained undiscovered, but it was a patch of Obliviax or 'memory moss.' It mentally seeks out spellcasters and absorbs their spells and memories. Parra would have been its preferred victim, but she was out of spells. Of the two remaining spellcasters, Kaelestia had the most spells, so it targeted her. Had she made her save, it would have tried Sumina next. Anyway, it was hidden in the one place in that room the party never looked—behind the large water basin. Had they found it, and had Kaelestia eaten it, she would have regained all of her memories and her spells. The DretchThe dretch was not to be trusted. It would have done anything to be free, either in this plane or its home. Anyone could have banished it by simply commanding it to return home. Had anyone said anything that could have been interpreted as a reason to free itself (like, “Show us where the library is”) it would have been freed and either immediately gated home or attacked (about a 50/50 chance, really). It was quite powerful, though—worth 1400 XP (for comparison the final boss of this module was worth 420)—it is a demon after all, even if a weak one. Likely the party would not have survived. They also could have just shot at it until it died and returned home, although they would have received no XP for that. The TowerThe party didn't miss much in the tower. There was one thing, though. Had they explored the exterior, out on the landing, they would have found another dead body. This one had nothing of value on it; it was the remains of the mage who summoned the dretch. They were half-way through the ritual when they heard the attack outside. They went to investigate, were killed, and the dretch remained stuck there ever since. FistandantilusNot sure why the party got the impression the citadel belonged to Fistandantilus. It was clearly explained it belonged to Voss, who was now dead. Just because there was a book written by him in the citadel didn't mean he used to run the place. Were that the case, someone might notice all the Dragonlance books in my room and deduce I am actually Tracey Hickman. Shadow MastiffThe shadow mastiff was the final boss of the module. In truth, it wasn't terribly tough, especially by itself, but the fact that it was in magical darkness gave it a big boost. But in the end, the party was able to defeat it despite the handicap. Had they waited long enough (about 24 hours), it would have reformed and attacked them again. Missed StuffThe party really didn't miss much. The one big thing they missed was the library. It was only accessible through a secret door, and Sha'al failed the roll I made when he passed it. Since the party never searched for secret doors, they never found it. It, by far, had the most magical treasure within, but not without cost. It contained a dagger-sized hornblade +2, a Magius' spell component case, a shadow lanthorn, and a scroll containing Magic Missile, Mount, Read Magic, Jump, and Sleep. Also within was Voss's personal spellbook! But...here's the catch. It was infested with bookworms! Not only was it useless, but had any mage picked it up (like Parra), the little buggers would have made their way to her spellbook and started eating it, too. So maybe a dodged bullet. Twill's GoodbyeNormally when a module comes to an end and it has an NPC guest, that character is eligible to become a henchman. But, Twill was level 3, so too powerful for that. So it wasn't in the cards. Had someone asked him to come with the party, though, he would have been gung-ho to do so...until he realized that it would mean leaving Stevie alone. He would then decide to stay, not wishing to abandon her. Divine FavorNo divine favor was earned this chapter.

I feel like the crew thing to do would be "everything's an equal share", and magic items are distributed evenly to those they are useful to for strengthening the party. Things sold that are not from character creation are split as coin. Agreed?
How much for the continual light mace?
Sha'al would keep the 2nd horn unless someone else wants it (lest Twill return) shiver

I'd like to sell my old scimitar, and maybe Identify the other? (I don't remember the price for the service though, if it's too high I'll pass.) You can sell the old scimitar for 7 1/2 steel pieces. You can probably find a mage to cast Identify for you during the downtime, but it costs 1,000 steel pieces per function of the item. Even if she cashes out everything she has, I'm not sure she'll be able to afford that yet. Also, me: what does 'ovate' mean? google: "shaped like an egg" me: 👁️👄👁️ is Kaelestia an egg now? Yep, Kaelestia has been upgraded to an Egghead. Her pocket protector and thick lens glasses are in the mail. But all joking aside, 'Ovate' has two meanings in English. The one you refer to comes from the Latin root, ' ovatus' meaning 'egg-shaped.' There's an older meaning that is pronounced differently and comes from the Greek word ' ouateis,' meaning 'soothsayer.' It means "a member of an order of Welsh bards recognized at an Eisteddfod" or "a Celtic priest or natural philosopher." In other words, a druid. I feel like the crew thing to do would be "everything's an equal share", and magic items are distributed evenly to those they are useful to for strengthening the party. Things sold that are not from character creation are split as coin. Agreed? How much for the continual light mace? Sha'al would keep the 2nd horn unless someone else wants it (lest Twill return) shiverThat sounds fair. And when things can't split up evenly, they're put in the party pool, which can be used for shared funds or ship repairs/supplies. Well, it's just a normal mace with a permanent light spell on it. So, I don't know...let's say...100 steel pieces.

100 steel sounds good to me if the others agree and nobody wants to keep it

Technically nobody in the party is currently proficient with maces. However, that could change later. And even without using it as a weapon, it makes for a very effective torch. A normal torch burns for 30 minutes and casts light in a 15' radius. This thing lasts forever and casts light in a 60' radius. The main downside is it is very heavy--a whopping ten pounds. Which is literally ten times what a normal torch weighs.
So if the party were to keep it, I'd say give it to someone who can take the weight and also doesn't fight with two hands.

Ok for selling the old scimitar...Sigh, it seems I will have to wait to know what exactly the magic one is. (Thanks for explaining what 'ovate' means xD google wasn't giving me the second meaning ) For the mace with continual light...Didn't we have the little orb we got from Twill which had the same function? (And I believe is way less heavy? xD), we could make like a necklace out of it, it will be more practical and we could sell the mace

Okay, mundane scimitar sold and coin added to her inventory. She remains in light encumbrance.
And yes, but when Parra searches her belongings for the glowing stone, she can't find it anywhere. She likely would start yelling 'koth kedir!' in her native tongue upon realizing what happened to it.

I was doing some research on this new module, and decided to look up the writer, Scott Bennie. Turns out he worked on the original Fallout games (and created both Dogmeat and the Mysterious Stranger perk), and also wrote the Dragonlance module "Wild Elves" (which I'd like to run some day, but it needs the party to be 4th-7th level, so it'll be awhile). I'm sad to say, he also died of pneumonia less than months ago. He was only 61.

.
Or Weiss and Hickman's secret love child. I got quite a few of Hickman's work too, not just Dragonlance. Maybe I am his secret love child.
