"Oh, you know, Stevie!" Twill says, nodding knowingly. "She's a pretty and very nice elven mage lady who nursed me back to health after I fell out of that tree and broke my leg. I was exploring her house, looking for a nice way to pay her back, when I found this mirror and went through it and wound up here."

KaelestiaHp: 8/8 - AC: 5 Kaelestia looks at the kender with a slightly puzzled expression on her face: " What do you mean you went through the mirror? What would it be on the other side?"

Twill places both hands on the mirror and pushes, but nothing happens--aside from him leaving finger smudges. "When the mirror is on, you can walk through, and it takes you to Stevie's new place," Twill explains, as if this were a simple matter to grasp. "It's magic! Kind of fun, too."

"You said new place." Sumina says. "Why did she move to a new place?"

KaelestiaHp: 8/8 - AC: 5 Kaelestia seems still about unsure about the mirror, then remembering what Sha'al said earlier asks the kender one more question, with a kind tone: " What about the missing horn? Would you happen to know where it is?"

Sha'al searches in the rubble nearby. If something was lost it was usually a kender's fault somehow...

"Not sure," the kender says, shrugging to Sumina.
To Arthogate, he says, "I think it's missing a piece somewhere."
"I guess it's probably somewhere around here," he says to Kaelestia.
Sha'al looks around the room, and notices that to the left of the mirror, the wall is oddly smooth, not at all like the rough stone used elsewhere in the cellar.

Let's see what's in here, then. Sha'al says, as he readies his shield again. Eyes sharp., he adds before opening the secret door

Arthogate moves around the room searching for the "missing piece" of the mirror. "How in the heck did an ogre end up with a magic mirror anyway?"

'Stole' it, along with the house, i'm guessing.

"Guess he started squatting here after Stevie left," Twill speculates to the dwarf.
Sha'al finds the door is sealed shut. Using his dagger, he chips away at the mortar, until he can push open the door. It opens into a small cubbyhole that contains a single small chest.
"Oh, that looks interesting!" Twill comments, pushing past to see. "Let me see if I can get it open!" He pulls out a series of picks rolled up in a cloth and gets to work on the lock. After a few minutes, he succeeds and opens the chest to reveal a horn made of some kind of crystal.

Sha'al checks his pouches after the close brush with the kender. Well what are you waiting for? Put it back on the mirror and see if it works. I bet it'll be spectacular. he says to Twill. At least that way if it fried someone with magic or something it wouldn't be one of the crew.
All hands ready. we're off the edge of the map. he calls to the others, shield and trident in hand in case Zeboim had one last kick in the ribs for them. Idly he makes a sign against disaster.
