KaelestiaHp: 8/8 - AC: 5 Kaelestia looked in awe at the masterpiece of Nature that surrounded her. She was mostly silent, ignoring the group discussion and focusing on the energy around her. The trees soared toward the sky, so tall, undisturbed by the hunger of the men. Free to grow into the wild of that mostly untouched planet. For a brief moment, Kaelestia asked herself: " Why? Why should I go back?" - the thought of remaining there, discovering all the secrets hidden inside those virgin forests, how many new species of animals and plants alike were waiting for her to find, study and protect them. Her eyes darting among the undergrowth to see if she recognized a sign that could tell her of the properties of some of those herbs. But then, the faces of the friends taken away appeared in her mind. No, she had to go back and find them. After all, this planet seemed to be able to take care of itself quite well. Trying to shake off that feeling of meloncholy that was getting to her thinking about her friends, she asked to the kender: " Twill, Stevie said you were born here, has it been a long time since your family came to this planet? How did they end up here?"

Sumina motions for Art and Granker to join Twill up front. She figures Art isn't going to mind too much, but Granker is probably going to be pretty grumpy traveling next to the kender.
"I think this is worse than the forest than we were in previously," she mutters. She takes a moment to tear the end of one of her sleeves, and then uses the fabric to pull her hair up into a pony tail.

"Well," Twill begins, "the way my Uncle Snifferdoo tells it, my grandparents heard of a wonderful, magical place called Mount Nevermind. It was filled with gnomes who built marvelous machines, including ships that could fly to the moons, and beyond! So they went there to find one of these ships, because they wanted to collect some stars. There are so many in the sky, surely nobody would miss one or two? They found one of these ships and convinced the gnomes to let them on board, and so got to travel beyond the moons, deep into the night sky. They were amazed to see other worlds, all spinning around the sun. When the ship got near this world, the gnomes wanted to get closer to investigate, but something went wrong. The ship crashed, and my grandparents were the only survivors. They met up with some other people in a small settlement, and decided to spend their lives exploring this new world full of all sorts of interesting plants and animals, but not many people, sadly. I hear there are lots and lots and lots of people on Krynn, of all sorts of shapes and sizes. I wish I could have seen more of it..."
The kender rambles on like this for a good twenty minutes or so, but his babbling is interrupted when they come across a stream, about twenty feet across. It's not very deep from the looks of it, and crossing it shouldn't be a problem. But the more interesting sight is what's on the other side. There are three humanoid beings, and they seem to have paused on the other side to drink and wash themselves a bit.
Two of them, a male and a female, strongly resemble fallen ogres, like Tom, but are oddly only five to six feet tall. They have stringy golden hair, oily gray skin, and webbed hands and feet, but otherwise look like miniature ogres. They are stout and muscular and have clubs on their belts, as well as alien looking weapons that resemble iron boomerangs connected to long metallic cords that are coiled.
The third figure, though, is quite different in appearance. He is a tall, slender creature, around six feet in height. Despite being slender, he has firm muscles a sort of swimmer's build. His skin tone is a deep blue, almost purple, which matches the color of his hair. He has a drawn face with drooping eyelids, which give him a somewhat dispassionate look. His ears are pointed like an elf, and there's a strange, but somewhat intimidating beauty to his features.
Upon seeing the party approach the other side of the stream, they all pause in their actions and watch carefully, trying to judge whether the party is a threat or not.
The third, slender figure looks awfully like an Irda, based on the descriptions Parra has read in the past.
The third, slender figure looks exactly like one of Kaelestia's own kind, the Irda, but his skin color is off. Otherwise, he could easily pass as one of the residents of her home island, Anaiatha.

Arthogate in a non-threatening pose raises a hand and waves to the beings in a greeting and hopefully non-threatening manner.

KaelestiaHp: 8/8 - AC: 5 The babbling of the kender was inane, vacuous, and kinda absurd. But it was exactly what Kaelestia needed to take her mind off the intrusive thoughts that afflicted her. When he eventually stops, the Irda looks up to see what caused the interruption in their travel and for a second she thinks she has gone mad. She steps in front of the others, to try to get a better look, but in all honesty both her mind and her eyes are currently out of focus. She speaks without thinking, using a language that she hadn't used in a while, in fear of being found out. " The sorceress told us that only humans, elves, dwarves, and kenders, inhabited this planet. And even on Krynn, it's not easy to find someone like us out in the open like this. What-- Who are you?" [OOC: in Kolshet obviously]

The purple fellow seems surprised when Kaelestia starts speaking to him. None of the party have ever heard that language before--it's definitely not elven. But the purple man seems to understand it, and responds in kind.
"Do not compare yourself to me, elf," he says in Kolshet. "Although I am impressed an inferior race such as yours has such mastery over my people's tongue. I am called Bilaiya Rin." Assuming standard Irda naming conventions, that means his given name is Rin and he is from the Bilaiya family. But this is not a family name Kaelestia has ever heard before, at least not on Anaiatha. Nevertheless, the haughty way he says his name suggests he expects her to be impressed, as if his family were rather famous.

Sha'al opens his mouth to tell the others to be careful and that he doesn't recognize any of them from his long life at sea, but he stops abruptly when Kaele begins communicating with them in some unknown language. He glances at the others to see if any of them are picking up what is being said, but when there is a pause or opportunity in the conversation he quietly asks Kaele, safe?

Sumina doesn't make any sudden movements, and while her moves are threatening, she certainly is cautious. Of course, watching the others across the stream is put to a halt when she looks to Kaelestia as she starts speaking her strange language. "That's new," she says softly. She half wonders if the planet that they are on can give people the ability to do things that they normally wouldn't be able to do.

KaelestiaHp: 8/8 - AC: 5 Kaelestia glanced quizzically at the stranger on the other side of the river. " I'm not an elf, this is just one of my forms. I'm an Irda, like... Wait." - she pauses for an instant, trying to connect all the anomalities of that encounter. The peculiar skin colour, the unknown name, the fact that he failed to figure out the circumstances behind her appearance. - " You're not one Igraine's descendants, are you? But how is it possible? They told us you were all turned into degenerate monsters..."

It's not clear what Kaelestia said to the purple man, but it seems to have greatly upset him. He shouts in rage, then points to the party and yells something at his companions. All three of them prepare for battle, drawing their weapons. "IRDA?! You are Igraine's traitorous spawn!" Turning to the small ogres, he shouts, "Kill her slaves, but take the Irda alive. I want her to suffer for her people's treason!" ================ (OOC: Map below; one square is 5 feet. Walking through the river takes triple movement, but it can be swam normally. The '1' is the purple man, and the 'A' and 'B' are the man-sized ogres.) (OOC: Roll initiative and state actions for Round 01.) KaelestiaHp: 8/8 - AC: 5 Kaelestia sighs deeply, before speaking one last time with the purple man. "So violence is your answer. It seems that even if your appeareance is the one of an Irda, your soul is the one of a degenerate monster." She then turns her attention to the others, as she grasps her shield. " I'm afraid they're not very safe, no." - she answers to Sha'al. - " Be very careful. And if possible try to take the purple one alive, I need to talk to him. I need to... Know." Finally, she silently prays to Chislev. - " Give us strenght to stop these people before they turn this world into a revel of distruction." OOC Actions. "Need to know?" Sumina asks as she draws the newest sword she said she would carry. "He hasn't told you anything right now, so why would it be any different after we fight them?" she asks. In her mind, she was content to let them alone, but now they are attacking so now they would have to feel her wrath for getting her in way on their mission to get off this planet. She prays to her God to curse the three.
OOC: Casting curse.

Parra would keep collecting herbs, and at some point a hairstrand of a certain kender. Even openly. ----- Parra would fall to her knees in the sight of... "Irda! Dont hurt the storming quacking Irda!" She swear in excitment, hurrying to get up as the battle start. Parra stare at Kaelestia, frowning. "I shall question you later. This must be a mistake, I might be able to reason with them!"Parra step forward with raised hands, speaking in Kolshet. "I am an ogre too! Cursed by the gods! We dont need to fight!"Parra would also attempt a cantrip if illusion, writing in Kolshet in letters of blue light, sending them to float toward the Irda. A sentence she has seen in the books. "U r o g r e I n A b e n D i j e i s h e d"which translated to something like- "Ur ogres to be blessed! Gods to be cursed!"
She hope to stop this battle and converse with the Irda..
