The following morning the party wakes up and meets in the common room to discuss their next move. They invite Regar and Chatty to join them as they return to Eastwatch to report to Lord Broadblade on their success against the wichtlin. The journey to Eastwatch is largely uneventful, although that afternoon they spot a flock of kingfishers, giant blue birds at least five feet in height, flying overhead. They are considered a symbol of good fortune among the Solamnics, so one can hope it's a good sign. It takes most of the day to return, and it's evening by the time they reach the gates of Eastwatch again. ============== It is now Chislmont 2 at Last Watch (8:00 PM). Ravarie lets out a sigh of small relief upon returning to Eastwatch, even if it is a little late. Though, now that they are back she turns to Kudak. "Thank you for your help," she says as she pulls out the coin needed to pay him. "I believe we agreed on 350 steel, so here it is."

Regar wakes and does a little morning prayer ritual and then has a quick bite and packs his stuff ready to head out.

The party heads to the castle gates, where they are greeted by the guards. The guards escort them back to Lord Broadblade's audience chamber, where he sits upon his throne awaiting them. He is dressed in the resplendent armor of a Knight of the Sword, but his helm is currently off. Broadblade is a fit, muscular man approaching his forties. He has dark brown hair, with a few greys appearing on the sides, and deep brown eyes. He wears the Solamnic standard handlebar mustache upon his face. Although he is sitting, his posture is perfect; he does not slouch, even a little.
The knight looks down at the group, noting their increased numbers, and strokes his mustache in irritation at the sight of Grubnick in particular. "You have returned," he notes. "I hope you have good news, especially after bringing a goblin into my hall."

Ravarie looks over to Grubnick for a moment before looking back to Broadblade. "We were able to rid the forest of the Witchlin," she says.

Regar looks at Grubnick with a look of 'so what did you do to the knight?' "Yes a witchlin and we did deal ghouls." (ooc: hopefully I did not just mix up my games.)
