Ahh, didn't know we already had a wizard in the party.
I'll go another route so as to not be in competition. I'll try to get the character finished tonight and tomorrow night.

Lawful Good, okay. And what about his background, MaltholLoth ? Also, since he is small sized, did you want to swap out his long bow with a short bow, so he doesn't have disadvantage? Or maybe one of the kender weapons mentioned in CH. 4 of Tasslehoff's Pouches of Everything, like the sithak? . Exceptionally sage advice, I'll swap to sithak, and if you don't mind, one short sword to a hoopak? A kendar's walk is always that more enjoyable with a hoopak in hand. Background. Rolled 7 for Actor. Personality, 5 I want to experience the beauty in the world. Ideals, 4 I've no patience for thieves. Bonds, 1 My friend always get themselves into trouble when I'm not around. Flaws, 6 I get sad when I think of all the people I've lost. I'll try to amend my characters sheet later on the computer rather than phone.

By the way, Matt4 , I noticed your character is 6'5" and 154 lbs. I'm not sure if you meant to do that. This would make him 2 meters tall but only around 70 kg. He'd be nearly as tall as a Minotaur, but dangerously underweight. Silvanesti tend to be closer to around 5 feet in height (1.5 meters), give or take a few inches. Yep, fixed sorry. Even though I still kept him as taller than the average Silvanesti.

Ok, a Bard. Follower of Gilean (so maybe a dip in Peace or Knowledge Cleric at lvl2).
I see him as a collector of stories and knowledge.
Mechanically a supporter/controller. Thinking of taking the Rope feat in T’hoffs to disarm/trip.

Okay, that all sounds good.
I'll work tonight on going over MaltholLoth's and Matt4's characters, and hopefully will get their stat blocks up soon.
In the meantime, here's a little optional writing exercise to think about for your characters. Has your character ever been in love? Was it one-sided or reciprocated? Were they ever betrothed or married? How did it work out, if at all?

Alright, MaltholLoth, I've more or less got your stat block ready. I still need to know his age, height and weight (Kender become adults at 20, old age sets in at 70, and they can live up to 100 or longer, although most don't; they tend to stand between 3'6" and 3'9" and weigh between 85 and 105 lbs). Then I just need a quick blurb on his appearance, his personality and his history.

Is there something particularly important about Silvanesti's sexuality/love life I should know? I think the only thing I read about it is that marrying out of one own House was rarely permitted.

Marriage is a very formal affair in Silvanesti culture. The process of choosing a mate is one that sometimes involves over a dozen people in addition to the couple themselves. The couple may privately exchange a starjewel, or a pair of them, demonstrating their love for each other. Starjewels are magnificently crafted pieces of jewelry, often worn as a brooch or pendant. They create a magical connection, allowing the giver to constantly sense the health and well being of the recipient. Marriage of two young elves of different Houses requires the permission of the Speaker and the heads of both Houses. For elves of low caste within their Houses, this is simply a matter of having the appropriate paperwork signed and stamped by the proper bureaucrats. For wealthy and powerful Silvanesti, however, political considerations are paramount; a marriage that might tilt political influence away from one power center and to another might be vetoed by the Speaker or one of his powerful advisors on the Sinthal-Elish (Council of the High). Some Houses, during some times of history, only allow marriage within the House or to members of certain other Houses; these policies are driven by equal parts politics and intense focus on the purity of one’s bloodline. Even marriages within a House are subject to the approval of the head of the House. Arranged marriage is not officially practiced among the Silvanesti, but unofficially, many Houses play, for political reasons, such insistent and coercive matchmaker that arranged marriages are for all practical purposes a common reality. The ceremony itself is also a formal and ritualized occasion. The bride is escorted from her parents’ home by the groom’s designated second, usually his brother or occasionally his best friend. She travels to the temple of Quenesti Pah (Mishakal), where a priestess of a rank fitting the bride’s station blesses her. Similarly, a priest of E’li (Paladine), also of rank matching his station, blesses the groom. From there, they both travel to the place of the wedding. Members of House Royal are married by the Speaker himself in the Palace of Quinari. Other Houses host weddings within appropriate halls, and House Cleric often opens its temples to weddings between the pious.

Sorry for the delay.

As to love, he once found a most shimmery jewel that glistened so beautifully it was a shame when he helped return it.

Okay, Robin Smallhill's stat block is now officially up. Just need his biography, and he's all set.
I'm about half way through Torquato's stat block, so I should finish that one up tonight.

Getting on the height and weight train, Gordon will be 5'7" and 178 pounds.
As for the love, he had a childhood sweetheart that he had an on/off relationship with. They enlisted together, and fought in several battles before she got injured. Healing was in short supply, and she didn't make it. The loss stung, and the constant empty sympathies back home didn't help. It probably drove him to go out and start fighting again.
Anything else I need to do for the character?

www.myth-weavers.com/sheet.html#id=2576316Still working on personality and backstory. Abelaard of Palanthus has never been in love, although several young ladies of the city (and more than one of the older variety) have been in love with him. In fact, his ivory flute (and spell casting focus) was given to him by a quite ravishing wife of one of the Lords of the city. OK. backstory: Abelaard is a dashing, young bard who works for the Great Library in Palanthus as a "procurer". He travels to areas of interest to the scribes to obtain tales and history as well as interesting artefacts that give shape to the stories. But how he came to be in such a job is an interesting tale, in itself. Abelaard is a child of unknown parentage, although his pale skin and rangy build make it clear that he is of Solamnic origin. The old woman who raised him in his early years (who he only remembers as "Auntie") swore his father was a Knight, although she didn't know his name or station within the Knighthood. His mother was reportedly a waitress in one of the upscale taverns of Palanthus, again unnamed (The tavern AND his mother). Of course, he has heard other suggestions about his mother over his 20 years from more than one of the city's prostitutes, claiming he looks just like a young woman named Sarah who came to Palanthus fleeing something or another and had to work as a whore to survive. He doesn't know what is true, and pretends he doesn't care. When he was 8 years old, "Auntie" died from some kind of illness and he was forced to find shelter on the streets. He took to the urchin life pretty well, as he was a comely lad and had a fine singing voice. This allowed him to make a bit more coin than begging or stealing, although he wasn't above either if the right circumstances presented. He continued in this life until the Blue Dragonarmies, under the command of Dragon Highlord Kitiara Uth Matar attacked the city during the War of the Lance. During the attack, he was severely beaten by a group of mercenaries and left for dead in the street outside the Great Library. One of the scribes snuck out and drug Abelaard into the Library, seeing that he was nursed back to health in the aftermath of the attack. It was here he was given his education and put to work. He started out cleaning the scribes' quarters, then, as he became more and more adept at reading and writing he was given other duties. Eventually, his restless spirit led to his current role and the Library has sent him to join the party investigation the happenings that begin our story.

Anything else I need to do for the character? A few things: 1.) His age 2.) His specialty from his background as a soldier 3.) Did you pick the dungeoneer's pack or the explorer's pack for his inventory?
