Gordon maneuvers a good five feet out of the second Baaz's range, and tosses another hand axe at him.
"Ah, the advantages of ranged weapons!" he jokes. Unfortunately, he misses.

Gaardsen limps forward, disappearing into the brush after the retreating draconians. Although only two, the party has difficulty with the remaining baaz draconians. The first one turns toward the kender, Robin, and runs up to him. With a slash of his sword and a bite of his fangs, the ranger goes down in a bloody heap. Dietrich moves up to him and slashes with his blade, but the baaz blocks expertly with his shield. Rof reloads his crossbow and fires, but the bolt goes wide. Abelaard offers another mockery, and the baaz flinches a bit from the insult. Meanwhile, Gordon throws his second hand axe at the second baaz, but misses. Torquato moves back and casts his necromantic spell again, but this time the baaz shrugs it off. "That won't work on me again, elf!" the baaz spats. He moves over to Gordon and slashes with his blade, cutting into the dwarf. He then tries to bite the warrior, but Gordon is able to sidestep it in time. ============ InitiativeBaaz 01: 17 Gordon: 17 Dietrich: 14 Robin: 12 Gaardsen: 6 Rof: 4 Torquato: 4 Abelaard: 4 Baaz 02: 1 Round 02!Baaz 01 moves 5 feet northwest and and slashes his long sword at Robin with disadvantage (vicious mockery) [AC 13] (1d20+4): 12+4 = 16, hit for (1d8+2): 3+2 = 5 slashing damage. Torquato ClorindidisHP: 7/7 - AC: 13 - Perception: 13 - Insight: 11 - Inspiration: No Torquato frowns in annoyance at the baaz's mockery: " Let us see if this works then." - he says, pulling out a handful of rose petals from his pouch, after his companions are done attacking. The mage blows the petals as he softly whispers in a forgotten language: "... καληνύχτα γλυκοί μου πρίγκιπες..." and a soporific aroma spreads in the area around the two draconians. If they both fall asleep, Torquato will say: " Go help Sir Karl, I'll think about these two." The first baaz lunges with his blade at Dietrich, but he is still unnerved by Abelaard's verbal onslaught and swings wide. He does manage to bite the knight's forearm, though. Dietrich counters with his great blade, but misses. The draconian laughs at the young man's misfortune and prepares to strike again, but his arrogance is cut short by a bolt from Rof slamming into his jugular. Almost immediately, the baaz turns grey in color and freezes in place, becoming a statue. Meanwhile, Gordon switches to his maul and strikes his opponent hard in the snout, drawing blood. Pissed, he prepares to finish off the dwarf, but Abelaard hurls another psychic insult that staggers him, and then Torquato puts him into a deep slumber, causing him to drop unconscious to the ground. Robin, with the luck of a kender, wakes up and realizes that fatal blow wasn't as bad as he thought, and while still badly hurt, he is still alive after all. A few moments later, they hear the brush to the north moving about, and tense up in case the draconians have returned. But it's just Sir Karl limping through, brushing some burrs out of his mustache in annoyance. "They are long gone," he says, shaking his head. "Wherever they are going, they moved with great haste." ============ InitiativeBaaz 01: 17 Gordon: 17 Dietrich: 14 Robin: 12 Rof: 4 Torquato: 4 Abelaard: 4 Baaz 02: 1 Round 03!Baaz 01 slashes his long sword at Dietrich with disadvantage ( vicious mockery) [AC 16] (1d20+4): 10+4 = 14, miss. Torquato ClorindidisHP: 7/7 - AC: 13 - Perception: 13 - Insight: 11 - Inspiration: No Torquato sighed, sending a limping man to chase them wasn't probably the brightest decision they could take. - " We can ask sleeping beauty here when he wakes up. CONDITIONS: None.Dietrich adopted a defensive stance over his companion's fallen form, careful not to trample the Kender underfoot, he was off balance swinging his great sword. However, he managed to parry the clumsy swing of the broadsword, before he felt a crunch on his upper arm, to note the creature had bitten him. His right arm, however, wasn't damp with blood, thankfully the armor had deflected the creature's vicious bite. As it slumped into a magical slumber, Dietrich dropped to a knee, looked to the Kender, and helped him to his feet. "Well done, good sir. You are injured though, rest a moment," he placed a had on the man's chest, a warmth radiating outwards across the Robin's breast. "Gather your wits and your courage." As he spoke, he helped the ranger to lean against the nearby tree trunk, before walking towards the wagon's, sword in hand. "Are there other's in need of aid? I am Sir Eckhardt, a novice of the Crown, my companions and I are here to offer our assistance."OOC: Use Lay on Hands on Robin for 4 hp's of Healing. I will then use my remaining movement to move towards the wagon, trying to see if there are any wounded, or such.
