The Blue Moon
The entire crew, including Kalana, put away their weapons and resume their duties of piloting the ship. The Salty Dwarf is about a hundred feet away, so already within crossbow range, but it never hurts to get closer. They catch a good wind and manage to close within twenty feet of the Salty Dwarf, but as everyone is focused on sailing, they will have to wait until next round to attack.

The Blue Moon attempts to close with the Salty Dwarf, which is not currently moving. It makes a maneuverability check (1d6+2): 6+2 = 8. The Blue Moon moves 80 feet and closes within 20 feet of the Salty Dwarf.

The Salty Dwarf
Brax's words don't seem to particularly inspire his crew, as they probably realize that if he does fall, they'll all die moments later. Brax fires his pistols again. The first manages to punch through the dragon's tough scales, but the second bounces off harmlessly. The crew all fire their crossbows, and not one single bolt manages to pierce the creature's hide.
In retaliation, the dragon claws up Brax. By some miracle, Brax avoids the dragon's massive fangs and remains on his feet for another moment, but it's clear he won't survive another attack.

As darkness takes Senllip's consciousness, he does not see what happens next. The dragon is ready to tear into the crew like they were made of thin paper, and they only have time for one more volley before that happens. All thirteen shoot, and of those thirteen bolts only one manages to break through the dragon's scaly hide. But that one bolt is enough, for it manages to pierce the dragon's heart, dropping it right then and there. A loud cheer goes up as the crew realizes they are saved.

Kalana calls out to the Blue Diamond. "One of you stabilize Senllip!" Once she is close enough to the Salty Dwarf, she will try to board the ship so that she can attack the dragon on that ship.

The crew, including Kalana, steer the ship closer to the Salty Dwarf, coming up alongside it. They then extend boarding planks.

The Blue Moon automatically closes with the Salty Dwarf (no roll needed) twenty feet and prepares for boarding.
The Salty Dwarf
Brax fires both pistols, and again both bullets just plink off harmlessly on the dragon's scales. His crew fire another volley, and the result is the same. The dragon retaliates, and by some miracle, Brax is able to avoid both of its claws. But nobody is lucky forever, and when the bite comes, Brax isn't fast enough. The fangs sink into his flesh, and the dragon shakes him around like a rag doll before tossing him right into the mast, where he slumps down, unmoving and bleeding.
It is around this point, though, that the Blue Moon sails up and begins boarding procedures.

"You guys keep shooting, but I need one of you come to come drag your captain away and stabilize him while I deal with this thing! And like I told the others on my ship, don't group up if it decides to use its breath weapon!"

Kalana rushes in and stabs with her sabres three times. The first two hit, leaving the dragon on its last legs. But the third one is deflected by its tough hide. The crew of the Salty Dwarf do continue to fire, although none risk going near the dragon to save Brax; one swipe from its claw would end them on the spot. All fifteen fire, and fourteen of those bolts bounce off harmlessly. But it only takes one, and that one bolt that manages to pierce its hide reaches its heart, and the dragon falls to the deck in a bloody mess with one final roar of pain.

A couple of hours pass by, during which time Auli'i is able to revive Senllip and Brax with her divine power. A signal is sent from the Lleiset, which easily handled the larger dragon on its own, for each of the captains to meet them on the shoreline to the west.

Once all three captains join Tiaru on the shoreline, they are approached by an old gnome in brown robes. "You have completed our contract, and as such, we have gathered up the dragons' hoards from their lairs and now deliver them to you, as promised." He gestures and several walking trees approach, depositing a number of treasure chests on the ground before them. "Please take it and leave," the gnome says.

Brax raises a single eyebrow questioningly at te gnome and turns back to his crew "Alright lads, yah know what ta do with loot don't yah." the dwarf chuckles.
