"Don't waste your ammo! Shoot only one bolt out of each couple and load for the time when it's close! Make sure you are synched with the man next to you. One loads while the other has a bolt ready, this way you will always be ready to shoot."

The Blue Moon
Kalana fires her crossbow and it goes pretty wide. She has the crew stop what they are doing and fire, as well, meaning the ship comes to a stop. All but one of the crew misses entirely, but one of them, Ungu, manages to get a pretty good hit. Outraged, the dragon flies much closer in, quite easily as the ship has stopped moving.

Brax gives the order, and his crew stop sailing the ship to all line up with their crossbows on the deck. They all fire at once, and at least three of the bolts strike the dragon. It roars and starts flying faster, coming another 300 feet in only a minute's time, and is now only 200 feet away to the stationary ship.

Senllip makes sure everyone reloads and stay under cover. "We hit it! Good work! I know you are scared! But the dragon is scared too. I know it is angry! But this is good since it fogs it's mind! It is not invincible and we will survive!" he encourages and readies himself for battle.

Kalana takes aim and pulls the trigger on her crossbow. Her bolt sails forward, nicking the dragon's face. The crew fire, as well, but none of them are able to hit. The dragon flies in, landing on the deck with a thud, then immediately claws and bites at Kalana. She avoids the bite, at least, when it slips on the wet deck.

Kalana pulls out her sabers, and shouts out orders to her crew. "Keep firing, but don't group up! It's breath weapon will be a problem if you do!" With that said, she starts attacking with her sabers.
