Granker, although still quite wounded, draws his katar blade in anticipation for a fight. Sha'al hurls his javelin, but it falls quite short. Arthogate looses two arrows. The first hits the giant in the arm, although by size comparison, it's more of a dart than an arrow. The giant cries out in pain, plucking the arrow out. Rather than counterattack, the giant just looks at the party, confused and hurt. The second arrow sails too far overhead, missing entirely. It's at this point Sumina finishes her prayer to Sargonnas, cursing the giant with an evil hex.
"Stop, stop!" the kender children cry. They wave their arms and start running toward the party, charging right into the party's line of fire. "Don't hurt our friend!"

Sumina looks confused at first, but she tries to stop everyone from attacking the hill giant more. "It isn't trying to hurt you?"

Sha'al shakes his head and lowers his weapon. F5cking figures. he mutters. To the kids and the giant he calls out, Sorry, we didn't realize you were playing. Your parents sent us to find all of you. Do you know where the other children are?

Sumina rubbed at her forehead as she felt a headache coming. She says what her name is when it is asked, and looks to Oghog. "If you can help us find the others, you can probably make some more friends."
