Sumina looks towards the kender. "You three, come over here. We were sent to find you by your parents," she explains.

The three kender clamber down, all chattering along the way. One of the boys, once on the ground, bounds forward and says, "You're welcome! If my caltrops hadn't slowed them down, you never would have made it!"" He's a lithe lad with dark hair in a ponytail and suntanned skin. He gestures to himself and says, "I'm Makland Swimmer. These are Joween Brightgem and Raddell Starthumb. Nice to meet you all!" He offers his hand.
Joween, the only girl of the three, is a bit huskier in size and has sandy brown hair wrapped up in a pair of buns. "Don't take credit, Makland, this is all your fault! If you hadn't made us run away, I could have taken them all out myself!"
"How, by eating them?" asks Makland. The two begin arguing loudly, their high-pitched voices growing ever more so as they do.
The other boy, Raddell, is a bit shorter than the others and has brown hair in a typical topknot. He approaches Sumina and asks, "Is that a magical sword? Are you really an adventurer? Have you ever met Kronin? Is that sword magical? Do you know any spells? Have you ever seen a dragon? Are you carrying a magical sword?"

Hp: 12/12 - AC: 5 Kaelestia tries to separate the quarreling kids: " There, there. There is no need to argue. Using the caltrops was a good move, Makland. And Joween, I appreciate your feisty spirit, but running away allowed you to meet us and now we can fight evil together." - hoping that was enough to calm them down, she proceeded to ask a question: " Now, who wants to tell us what happened to you? Your parents told us you were traveling the woods with some of your other friends, where are they now?"

Sumina was a little overwhelmed at first. Were all 30 kender going to introduce themselves when they found them? How was she going to remember that many names? Once Makland and Joween starting fighting, Sumina was going to go break them up, but Raddell stopped her. "No, this isn't a magical sword, but it is a little stronger than normal swords," she says. "Yes, I guess I am an adventurer. I've never met Kronin, and I've never seen a dragon." She has to wonder why she actually answered all of those questions.

"I dunno, somewhere around," Makland answers with a shrug. "We're supposed to meet with Hudan Stonethrower at the tree; it's justa little way back there," he says gesturing behind them, to the north. Arthogate will move free of the webs and join the others. It takes Arthogate another couple of minutes, but he manages to pull himself free of the webbing, although several strands remain stuck to his clothes, skin and hair. Sha'al and Ferd, however, remain trapped and unable to move. "I cannot imagine a tree being an efficacious landmark in the middle of a forest. Unless this particular one possess some unique quality?" The two children kind of stare at Kaelestia blankly for several breaths. Finally, Makland says, "What's 'efficacious' mean?" "It's Elven, I think," Joween says. "Well, I don't speak Elven, I only know Common and Kenderspeak," Makland retorts. "Well, maybe try reading a book some time, dumb-dumb," Joween says. "You don't know how to speak it, either, poophead!" Makland counters. The two quickly start shouting over each other again in argument. |

Sumina takes her pouch back from the kender. "It helps me pray to my God," she says. Instead of answering all of the questions again, she decides to do something else. "Hey, why don't the three of you help us free the people stuck in that web," she says. She hopes it will stop the other two from fighting, and she kind of hopes it will stop the other one from asking her questions.

She sighed, kids back in the island were fairly rare so she wasn't used to handle this kind of situation. The irda is grateful for Sumina's interventition. - " Yes, that sound... A sensible thing to do."

"Sure, we can do that," Makland says. He and Joween move to the webbing and almost immediately both get stuck in it. "I'm stuck!" Makland calls out. "I'm stuuuuuck! I'm stuck! Hey, I'm stuck!" he calls out. Meanwhile, Raddell continues to follow Sumina around. "Do you have any food? Why is your sword so long? Have you met any of the gods? What are they like? Where are you from? Is it very far? Are you going back there some day? Do you miss it? What's your favorite food? Do you have any? I'm hungry."

Sumina uses her free hand to rub at her temple as Raddell continues to ask his mind numbing questions. Once the kender children get stuck, she is almost tempted to keep them stuck in there. They could gather all the children, and then get them stuck in the webbing. Though, she knew the webbing wouldn't last forever. "Well, that didn't work," she mutters. She takes a moment to dig out some of her rations, and gives some to Raddell. "You know," she says to Raddell. "I'm not that interesting. Why not go talk to Arthogate, that dwarf over there?" she says, pointing to Art.
