After Henry marks on the stone with his dagger, the party climbs up the ladder to the top of the ledge. They head west into another chamber, this one filled with swirling mist about three feet off the ground. There is a passage to the south, another set of descending stairs to the southwest and a path to the west. Snapjaw points to the west. "This is where treasure is taken. After that, Snapjaw not know where it goes."
As Chantilly collects the gems, she does not realize there is movement above her head. Something large and gooey drops on top of her, sliming her entire body. The slime burns her skin slightly, causing some mild discomfort. The ooze reforms itself behind her, blocking off her escape, and swings a pseudopod at her.
Slime swings a pseudopod at Chantilly [AC 17] (1d20+3): 15+3 = 18, hit for (1d6+1): 5+1 = 6 bludgeoning damage plus (2d6): 4 acid damage. Chantilly is moderately wounded.

"Well, let's see what's there." Henry says with a shrug, carves another arrow pointing west and follows the path Snapjaw told them; the squire is a bit more cautious now and tries to wave away the mist covering the ground - most probably afraid it might hide some kind of trap or other peril.

Sorry, I didn't mean to disturb you!" - Chantilly says, taking her distance from the slimey creature, grabbing another gem from the ground as she does so. - " Don't worry. I'm almost finished and then I'll leave you alone!" - she reassures the slime, while the mage hand collects one of the precious stone left in the mud. OOC Actions Initiative: i40bB0_K1d20+5Action to Disengage & movement to get away from the slime. They should be pretty slow, so she'll just keep her distance until the hand (controlled with the bonus action) will finish the gathering of the gems. Chantilly will also use her free interaction to grab one of them as gets away. Uncanny Dodge in case the slime manages to hit her again. How many gems are left on the ground? 1d20+5

Snapjaw leads them into the next room, which has no other visible exits. The mist from the previous room has seeped into this one, and stands about two to three feet off the ground. However, aside from the mist, the room appears to be completely empty. Snapjaw himself looks around in confusion. "This...this where all crates and chests and barrels of treasure taken. Jarak-sinn bring here and leave...but where all treasure gone?" he asks. "Must be here somewhere..."
Chantilly moves 20 feet toward the rear of the cave to get away from the slime, and uses her mage hand to retrieve another gem. There are now five more remaining. The ooze slithers toward her, its pseudopod reaching toward her; or more specifically, toward the bag she is putting the gems in. It almost appears as if the creature is trying to protect the gems from Chantilly.

Eliana frowns as she looks around the mist covered cavern. Treasure wouldn't just disappear, or she didn't think so. She begins looking around the room, cautiously, for anything hidden like doors or levers, or anything that could indicate where the treasure could have gone. "When was the last time you were here?"

"Only two days ago, when last shipment arrived," Snapjaw answers.
Searching around the room, Eliana spots what appears to be a circle of inscribed runes, glowing slightly, in the center of the room on the ground. The mist was obscuring it, but it is visible if you get close enough.

Well, you could have just said so! But don't worry, I'll leave you the others! Here, maybe you'll like this as well." - she says, throwing a silver coin toward the slime. - " Well, I better go back to the others, bye Mrs. Slime!" - and having said that, she starts sprinting toward the room where she left the others. OOC Actions Don't know if this is needed but, movement + bonus action: dash to run toward the gap. Action to disengage if I need to pass beside the slime, otherwise that goes to movement as well. (If I need to pass through the slime, I can use the Nimble trait, if it's at least medium sized).

"Well, guess magic is involved. After all, we know there's at least one mage here." Henry says while looking around "But I have no idea how. Do you know if there are any spells that might...I don't know, transport the treasure somewhere else?" the squire then asks Eliana.

"If I can figure out what the runes say, I might be able to determined what they do," Eliana says. She takes a closer look at the runes to see if she can determine what they do. When her father was teaching her magic, she remembered going over runes.

Zakkoth show a slight sign of concern when Chantillt dissapear.
"Yes. The kender... can take care" Though he felt responsbility for not being decisive and allowing Chantilly's kender mind to blow her away.
Zakkoth follow along and send worried glances when he think no one see.
He himself try to study the runes.
"It cant be too complicated, if it used for such quantities"

From what Eliana and Zakkoth can tell, this is a permanent teleportation circle. It likely transports whatever is placed inside it to another location. However, it needs a spoken password to activate it.
Chantilly manages to evade the slime and rush out of the cavern. It tries to pursue, but she's considerably faster than it is, and it quickly falls behind. She bursts out of the chamber, back into the main one, the light of her candle the only way to see anything around her. She skids to a halt upon realizing that the party is gone. They seem to have left her behind.

"I guess this isnt a proper place to raise a new army for the bi#^ queen." He groan.

Henry answers to Zakkoth with a shrug "If they're any smart they won't have it written somewhere, there's a good chance we have to make them say it. Won't be easy." that said, he starts circling the teleportation circle with a concerned frown "This magick...I mean, one of these in Palanthas could spell doom for the city, the Cult could bring an entire army inside the walls. I could never imagine the Cult having such powerful spells at its disposal..."

She didn't hear anything though, and she didn't think she was gone for that long. Or was she? What if they got bored of her and just took the chance to finally get rid of her? After all they now had Jamna taking care of the sneaky side of things for them. She swallowed nervously, trying to chase away those thoughts. Henry would never do it! Lady Eliana would never do it either! And definitely Z. would never do it. Chantilly focused on her breath, trying to calm down. Where was it that Snapjaw wanted to go? She looked at the stairs in the dark. Was it those in the northwest corner? Or those in the southeast one? How was she supposed to remember? They were both stairs! Pratically identical. The half-kender (although she now looked like an half-gnome) took a deep breath and focused on her candle's warmth. - " Okay. I think the direction was Northwest. I think." - she said. Trying to sound convincing (to herself). But what if they just said so to trick you and went southeast instead?Chantilly closed her eyes and shook her head. - " I said Northwest!" - she says once again, before running up the stairs in that direction.

"The runes probably give a clue as to what the password is," Eliana says. "But I'm having a hard time making them out, honestly. I also think we should wait for Chantilly before we go saying the password," she says.
