"Are we sure it will be at our leisure, though?" - Chantilly asks. - "I know it will be hard to believe but I had my fair share of, allegedly, unwanted intrusions into other people rooms. And with those huge ego, self important guys especially there always seem to be some sort of mumbo jumbo that alerts them of said unwanted intrusions. Ti Bi Aitch, I doubt it will be so easy to just go and enter this elf's room, not without repercussions at least."

"Last time we tried to take out two simple guards, they managed to ran away and alert our enemies we were coming. Now we're talking about a Knight of Neraka and a mage to booth." Henry gestures to invite caution "And sure, there might be some kind of trap or alarm in the room we want to search, but I still believe it's less riskier than to try to subdue a Knight. If we go that route, we have to be ready to fight our way through the whole castle then."

"I meant that we should probably check Borngrey's room first," Eliana says. "Since we know that he isn't in his room at this time."

"All be well." Zakkoth say calmly.
"At least today. But let's start with the empty room, if it can ease our friends."

"So what are we doing?" Jamna asks.  "We're just going in circles at this point."

"We go search Borngrey's room." Henry says in response to Jamna's question, then gestures at Snapjaw as an invitation to show the way "if you please, Snapjaw."

Snapjaw leads the party up the spiral stairs to the second floor.  The stairs continue up to the third level, but he stops at the second.  They find themselves in a common room, some sort of combination sitting room and office, with a small hearth along the western wall.  A writing desk, a large padded chair, and a bench are drawn up near the hearth.  There is also a door on the east wall.  Snapjaw points to the door.  "In there, that Borngrey's room.  Never been inside," he admits.

"Chantilly, check to see if his door is locked and trapped " Eliana says softly as she goes to search the desk in the common room.

"Sure thing!" - Chantilly says, as she goes to check the door.

Eliana searches the desk.  It has a neat stack of blank paper on it, as well as a vial of ink and a writing quill.  But nothing else.

Meanwhile, Chantilly carefully inspects the door.  As far as she can tell, it does not appear to be trapped.

"Door seems to be clear." - she tells the others.

"There doesn't seem to be anything here, so let's go inside," Eliana says.

Eliana opens the door to reveal a large bedchamber and dressing room.  The bedchamber contains a bed, carpet-draped table with wash basin and grooming tools, and a stool.  Rugs cover most of the floor.  Next to the bed is a large bird cage containing a black raven that is preening itself.  Nobody appears to be in the room at the moment.
