Map of Cascadia
Kanatan NationsNoisy WatersNext up is the land of Waters. It is the northern most Elonnori nation and the only remaining Kanatan one. It consists of two habitats--Noisy Waters to the north and Sleeping Waters to the south. Noisy Waters holds the gardens of Hidden River (the capitol) and Bellhill, as well as the grove of Oak Harbor. Sleeping Waters holds the gardens of Strong Boar and Strawberryville.
Government: Noisy Waters is a theocratic monarchy. The small nation is run by a young king who led a revolution against the former king, a Ravenite Kanatan. As half of the population is Cascadian and nearly all are Elonnori, he was not a popular king. Normally in this land, military might is everything--a hard fact of life as they are so close to the Ravenite lands. Thus, each king is chosen by a council based on their military expertise and accomplishments. Oddly enough, though, after the old king was overthrown, the new king, Kolder Newsky, was chosen more for his diplomatic skills. He's a good and kindly man, and very devout but he helped in rallying the locals into the revolution. While the new king is married and has two children, his current heir is his top general.
The main protection his land has is he pays regular tribute to the Riverdom. This keeps them from invading (for now), but also ensures they will swoop in if someone else tries to invade.
Ecology: The nation is largely forested terrain, but also some plains. Winters are mild.
History: When the Cascadian Empire fell forty years ago, the Ravenites swooped in almost immediately and started taking land that they viewed as rightfully theirs. This included Noisy Waters. The Elonnori living there, however, bristled under their rule, especially the Kanatans who valued their freedom. Due to the massive unrest, the Ravenite in charge, Duke Atana abdicated in favor of a Kanatan convert named Blizz Current about 10 years ago. The idea was that a Kanatan who followed the Raven would help quell the locals while still serving the Ravenite interests. Unfortunately, it didn't work out that way. The Kanatans viewed Current as a traitor, not one of them. A year ago, while the Ravenites were busy with a civil war, the Elonnori revolted and overthrew Current, executing him. His family fled into the night, including his wife and son. The military chose the current king, Kolder Newsky, who has now ruled for the past year. But both the Ravenites and the Cascadians are looking to reabsorb that land for themselves.
Culture: The northern region is largely Kanatan, but the southern region has a Cascadian majority among the people.
Religion: Elonnariam is the primary faith.
Trade: Noisy Waters has plentiful lumber (they always plant new saplings to replace any tree they fell) and ample fishing on its coasts. Likewise, it's one of the best places to grow raspberries.
Cascadian NationsSalt WhaleSalt Whale is a nation that's largely coastal, along the Quilsha Sound. It is composed of three habitats, Si'ahl, Belar and Raena. Si'ahl contains the gardens of Si'ahl (capitol), Amatil and Regna, as well as the Nyik Grove. It is also home to Quil's Place market and Big Lenan, a statue from the old world that often inspires poets and artists. Belar contains the garden of Bar'eyllis and the grove of Evar. Raena holds the gardens of Reisel and Sumrae, and the Aelasel Grove.
Government: Salt Whale is a theocratic monarchy. The man who rules the land is a direct descendant of the great hero who united Cascadia originally--her great-great grandson, in fact. His name is Supervisor Crane Freeland, and he's an older man, in the twilight of life, who never married or had children. Thus, his younger sister is his heir at the moment. Rumor is he never married because he isn't interested in women. However, under Cascadian custom, he could adopt an heir if he wished, but for whatever reason never has. He's a good ruler and has helped enrich his lands and made them prosperous, although he himself always spends money whenever he gets it; so ironically, he's not very wealthy himself. His vassals all like him, surprisingly even his druids, despite the fact that he's not very religious himself.
The main protection his land has is he pays regular tribute to the Riverdom. This keeps them from invading (for now), but also ensures they will swoop in if someone else tries to invade.
Ecology: The nation is largely forested terrain, but also wilderness. Most of the civilization rests along the Quilsha Sound. Winters are mild.
History: Prior to the Cascadian empire, the land was ruled by Supervisor Napur, a Kanatan warrior, who formed it in the year 540. When the great hero, Aquaria Freewaters, arrived in 547, Napur refused to bend the knee, and so the two fought in a duel. Aquaria won, and Napur was killed. Thus, did Aquaria seize control of the biome. She passed the land to her daughter, River in 561 upon his death. She, in turn, passed it on to her daughter, Raine, in 577. Finally, it was inherited by the current supervisor, Crane, in 628.
Culture: The people are mostly Cascadian, and that is the primary language spoken.
Religion: Elonnarism is the primary faith.
Trade: Salt Whale has a massive and booming trade industry, thanks to the many ships that come into the Quilsha Sound. Quil's Place market bazaar is said to be the largest in the land, and supposedly dates back to before the Awakening. All this wealth makes them a prime target for raiders, however.
Blue GlacierBlue Glacier is an area surrounding the Sunado Mountains, bordering the Saltish Sea and the Serene Ocean. It is composed of three habitats: Cape Kahouk, Kwínayt and Pastik. Cape Kahouk contains the garden of Port Devas. Kwinayt contains the garden of Rivermouth (capitol) and the grove of Taholah. Pastik contains the garden of Baymanton.
Government: Blue Glacier is a pure theocratic state, where the church itself chooses each leader. The current queen is Cresta Whirlpool, the daughter of Loacha Freewaters and therefore niece of Crane Freewaters. She is married with a one year old daughter, Bean. But the church currently favors her Second-Hand as heir. Cresta is kind and quick, and good with coin. She does have something of a temper, though, and isn't terribly religious. Currently, she has no vassals and runs all three habitats on her own.
Ecology: Cape Kahouk is largely forested, Kwinayt is hilly and Pastik is clear plains, and of course, the Sunado Mountains are in the center of the land. Close proximity to the ocean keeps the winters mild, although the mountains are another story. Most of the civilization rests along the shorelines of the seas or the rivers.
History: Some three hundred years ago, the area was controlled by the Gullfolk and it was largely a republic. One family in particular, the Kasuji, held onto power for around a century. After that point, the Cascadians became numerous enough that they started voting their own people into power. The Cascadians remained in power for another century, after which point Aquaria conquered the entire region and it became a theocratic state. When the empire fell, Cresta's father, a Kanatan named Winnow, managed to form the kingdom of Blue Glacier and he ruled it until his death about a year ago.
Culture: Most of Blue Glacier is Cascadian and speaks that language. However, Cape Kahouk still has a majority of Gullfolk and that language is spoken rather commonly there, as well.
Religion: Elonnarism is the primary faith.
Trade: Blue Glacier is fairly rural and poor. It only has three small gardens, and while all ports, they don't bring in a whole lot of trade. Constant raids from the Ravenites doesn't make things any easier.
Tall PinesTall Pines is a coastal area along the Serene Ocean. It consists of two habitats, separated by a large river. They are Shoalwater Bay and Salmon Valley. Shoalwater Bay, the northern habitat, holds the single garden of Long Beach, while Salmon Valley, the southern habitat, holds the capitol garden of Arcadia Bay as well as the grove of Meerton.
Government: Tall Pines is a theocratic monarchy. The current queen is Emerald Freewaters, the grand niece of Crane Freewaters. She is unmarried and has no heirs, so upon her death, her lands would fall into Crane's hands. Emerald, however, is an ambitious and zealous schemer, and might have some plans to avert that. She currently has no vassals and is even in charge of the local grove, despite the church's wishes.
Ecology: Tall Pines is a hilly region with a large river running straight through it, which empties out into the ocean. Due to the proximity to the ocean, the winters are mild. The gardens are all ports, and most people live near the shoreline.
History: The land was ruled by a giant of a man, possibly a Goliath, some 140 years ago. He was said to be hideously disfigured, somewhere around 8 or even 9 feet tall, and legends say he was possessed by evil spirits that caused him to act violently and erratically. When Aquaria Freewaters arrived with her army some 120 years back, she faced him in battle and slew him after an epic fight. Aquaria passed the land on to her second born daughter, who passed it on to her child, and so on, until Emerald took over.
Culture: The people are mostly Cascadian, and that is the primary language spoken.
Religion: Elonnarism is the primary faith.
Trade: Tall Pines has a thriving fishing industry, but due to frequent raids from the Ravenites, tends to be fairly poor overall.
Rain MountainRain Mountain is a small kingdom in the valley of Rain Mountain, hence the name. It consists of a single habitat with two gardens, the capitol Rainalia, and one called Harmony.
Government: Rain Mountain is a pure theocratic state, where the church itself chooses each leader. The current queen is Meera Wyntergreen, who has no spouse or children currently. The church favors her chancellor as heir, and is eager to replace her since she was discharged from the church (essentially excommunicated). Meera is a talkative, easy-going woman for the most part, but she does have a bit of a pride issue and doesn't take likely to insults.
Ecology: Rain Mountain is largely forested area, with a couple of rivers running through it. The climate is temperate.
Aquaria passed the land on to her second born daughter's son (her grandson), who ruled until his death around 45 years ago. When the empire fell, Rain Mountain fell into chaos and no heir was chosen. The lands were lawless until the Wyntergreen sisters took over, with Meera taking the north and her sister, Henna, taking the south. The church did not approve and had them both discharged, hoping to pressure them into stepping down so they could choose their own leaders.
Culture: The people are mostly Cascadian, and that is the primary language spoken.
Religion: Elonnarism is the primary faith.
Trade: Rain Mountain is moderately wealthy, thanks to a booming lumber and fishing trade, as well as being so close to holy land, so they get lots of tourists and pilgrims.
Smoke MountainSmoke Mountain is a small kingdom in the valley of Smoke Mountain, hence the name. It consists of a single habitat with one garden, the capitol and river port of Basalt, and a grove called Fireblood that sits on the mountain itself.
Government: Smoke Mountain is a pure theocratic state, where the church itself chooses each leader. The current queen is Henna Wyntergreen, who has no spouse or children currently. The church favors her second-hand as heir, and is eager to replace her since she was discharged from the church (essentially excommunicated). Henna is ambitious, brave and fair-minded, but has something of a temper.
Ecology: Smoke Mountain is hilly area, with a couple of rivers running through it. The climate is temperate.

The church did not approve and had them both discharged, hoping to pressure them into stepping down so they could choose their own leaders.
Culture: The people are mostly Cascadian, and that is the primary language spoken.
Religion: Elonnarism is the primary faith. Further, Smoke Mountain (the actual mountain, that is) is considered holy land to the Elonnori. It has semi-regular eruptions, and is believed to hold a portal to the Elemental Plane of Fire. Legends say the mountain once exploded, back during the Awakening, destroying itself entirely and killing everyone nearby, but has since rebuilt itself back up and is waiting to explode again some day.
Trade: Rain Mountain is moderately wealthy, thanks to a booming fishing trade, as well as being holy land, so they get lots of tourists and pilgrims.
Azure CoastsThe Azure Coasts is a thin stretch of land between the Serene Ocean coastline and the Azure Mountain range. It consists of two habitats; the northern region is Garth and contains the gardens of Serenity and Shorehaven. The southern region is Clearview and contains the garden of Newport.
Government: Azure Coasts is a theocratic monarchy. The current queen is Elemently Freewaters, the great-great granddaughter of the hero, Aquaria. She is married with a young adult daughter who is also her heir. Elemently is a former adventurer and skilled warrior, known for her many vices. These vices (lust for treasure, power and men) make her unpopular among her court. But most fear her prowess in battle to stand against her.
Ecology: The region is hilly with mild winters due to the proximity to the sea. The beaches are known for being quite beautiful.
History: The northern region originally belonged to the Gullfolk, while the southern region was Siyouan. Eventually, however, both lands fell into Cascadian hands. When Aquaria and her armies arrived to claim it for her empire, the Cascadian king in charge at the time fought back, and was slain. Aquaria gave the lands to her second daughter, who passed it on to her son, who passed it on to his daughter, and who finally decided to give them to Elemently instead of her own children. Elemently is currently training her 20 year old daughter, Ebben, to rule some day.
Culture: The people are mostly Cascadian, and that is the primary language spoken.
Religion: Elonnarism is the primary faith.
Trade: The northern region of Garth is quite wealthy, with both gardens bringing in lots of money from fishing, and both are frequently visited by passing ships. The southern region of Clearview, however, is far poorer, as it only has the one garden.
Rose ValleyRose Valley is a beautiful and bountiful land centered around where two rivers meet, in a valley between two mountain ranges. It consists of four habitats--Hilk to the north, Lockdam to the west, Clearing to the south, and Mount Dream to the east. Hilk holds the gardens of Mudturtle and Camas, and the grove of Battlefield. Lockdam holds the gardens of Wapato and Azure and the grove of Beaverdam. Clearing holds the gardens of Twinrivers (capitol) and Troutdale, as well as the grove of Gresham. And Mount Dream contains the garden of Sandy and the grove of Landmark. Twinrivers is also home to the Lucky Tree, a single small tree growing in the middle of the garden that is said to house the spirit of a leprechaun. Legend says this leprechaun is invisible except to children who hold four-leaf clovers at Midnight.
Government: Rose Valley is a theocratic monarchy. The current queen is Kascade Freewaters, the great-great-great granddaughter of the hero, Aquaria. She is married with four young children (two boys and two girls; the oldest girl is heir). Kascade is ambitious, proud and zealous, making her a dangerous enemy but a powerful ally. She also owns the Conquests of Aquaria Freewaters, a stone tablet with a six stanza poem that documents the conquests of Aquaria Freewaters, that date back to that time. It is her most prized possession.
Ecology: Hilk is rather hilly, while Lockdam and Mount Dream are all forested area. Clearing is largely farmland. Overall, the climate is temperate.
History: Legends say that the valley was completely destroyed in the Awakening, leaving nothing alive--not even fauna or flora. Some 550 years ago, a powerful archdruid known only as The Dreamer who had the power to reshape reality with his dreams, changed the desolate wasteland into a beautiful valley, filled with roses. There are those who say the archdruid is still there, somewhere hidden, continuing to dream and if he should ever wake up, Rose Valley would be no more. Some 150 years ago, a powerful warrior united the four habitats into one biome. He was the first to fall to Aquaria's trident, and Rose Valley became part of Aquaria's new empire, until it fell apart a century later.
Culture: The people are mostly Cascadian, and that is the primary language spoken.
Religion: Elonnarism is the primary faith.
Trade: Rose Valley is a very wealthy nation, being a center of trade second only to Salt Whale to the north. It produces a lot of food through both farms and fishing.
Green River ValleyQuite similar to Rose Valley, Green River Valley is a beautiful and bountiful land between two mountain ranges. It also consists of four habitats: Wineland to the north, Pond to the west, Pumice to the east, and Pleasant Hill to the south. Wineland contains the gardens of Haven and Woodburn, and the grove of Takenah. Pond contains the gardens of Heart and Freshcreek, and the grove of Moonmouth. Pumice contains the garden of Stonewood. And Pleasant Hill contains the gardens of Paradise (capitol) and Birdview and the garden of Springfield.
Government: Green River Valley is a theocratic monarchy. The current queen is Aqua Freewaters, the great-great-great granddaughter of the hero, Aquaria. She is unmarried with no children. She is the younger sister of Kascade, who is also her heir. Aqua is a cruel and angry woman, who is deeply jealous of her sister.
Ecology: Pond is largely hilly, while Pleasant Hill and Pumice are forested and Wineland is all farmlands. The climate is largely temperate.
History: Green River Valley is one of the oldest nations in the area, and was at one time the most powerful Elonnori nation. It was here that a woman known as Marina Freewaters would one day give birth to a baby she would name Aquaria and die in childbirth. Aquaria would be raised by her father, a Gullfolk warrior who taught her the ways of war. Of course, Aquaria would one day ascend to the throne and decide to unite all of the Elonnori nations into one glorious empire, in which peace and prosperity would reign for a century. Green River Valley was once the seat of that empire, and its people long for those halcyon days to return.
Culture: The people are mostly Cascadian, and that is the primary language spoken.
Religion: Elonnorism is the primary faith.
Trade: Green River Valley is a very wealthy nation, a center of history, art, trade and culture. It's particularly well known for its delicious grapes, grown in numerous vineyards, as well as the wine produced from them.
Inlander NationsRiverdomThe Riverdom is a very large tribal nation that consists of five biomes: Deep Water, Loess, Winding Valley, Horse Haven and Sky Mountains. Deep Water consists of the Deep Water tribe, the Broadwater tribe, and the Spoken Valley tribe. It holds the Camp of Mead, not a grove but a Trailwalker camp. Loess contains the Aze tribe, the Wildfire tribe and the Ferno tribe. It holds the groves of Radiant and Ember. Winding Valley consists of the Eagleview tribe, the Drake tribe and the Glow tribe. It has no groves. Horse Haven consists of the Black Bear tribe, the Kindle tribe and the Skyfire tribe. It holds two groves: Torch and Gleamview. Sky Mountains contains the Warmawarma tribe, the Sandwave tribe, the Morningstar tribe and the Cinder Gorge tribe. It contains no groves.
Government: The Riverdom is a tribal nation, with multiple tribes serving under a handful of Chieftainesses who in turn serve under the Warden-Chieftainess. When a Chieftainess or Warden-Chieftainess dies or stands down, her territories are split up evenly among her daughters. The current Warden-Chieftainess is Firechild Ponderosa, whose grip on her lands is weakening. While religiously devout, she is a bit obsessed with the Feywild, believing that to protect the planet, it may be necessary to shatter the borders between it and the prime material plane, merging the two to create a true utopia. There are rumors that she spends a lot of time researching dark and forbidden magics to find a way to do this, perhaps going as far as to engage in outright heresy. (Some even whisper that her connections to the Feywild are what allowed her to form the nation in the first place; that she has doppelgangers among her court who serve as spies and assassins.)
Furthermore, the lands in Deep Water and Loess have started to adopt the faith of their neighbors to the east, known as Trailwalkers. In fact, the Warden-Chieftainess is the daughter of one of these pagans. Her father was one married her Elonnori mother, and so rather than do anything about the spreading of the faith, she is content to let them be. In fact, one of her vassals, the Chieftainess of Deep Water, is of this faith.
Because of these factors, many of her vassals are currently scheming to overthrow her, or perhaps break away and form their own tribes. History doesn't always repeat itself, but sometimes it does rhyme.
Ecology: Deep Water and Loess are largely open plains. The other regions are either plains or hills, or even mountains up in Winding Valley. The area is temperate, but the winters can be severe further north.
History: Legends say that around 300 years ago, a powerful warlord tried to unite many of the Inlander tribes. He is remembered as a terrible tyrant, cruel, greedy, with a terrible temper and a perverse enjoyment of torture, although nobody remembers his name anymore (it was taboo to speak it aloud, and now nobody alive today can recall it). The tyrant's rule was a short one, though. He was slain by one of Firechild's ancestors, a powerful barbarian warrior named Hotfoot the Liberator. Since then, the Panderosa family has been the closet thing to royalty the Inlanders know today.
Inlanders have always been independent, and united again to face the armies of Aquaria. Although ultimately one could argue they lost the fight--they did eventually bend the knee to her, after all, they still kept their independence largely intact. When the empire fell a century later, the Inlanders were the most eager to break free, and many blame them for the empire's fall in the first place. They once again broke into multiple warring tribes. But about seven years ago, Firechild, whose mother ruled Loess, managed to unite a large number of them into a coherent nation, mostly through guile and if some rumors are to be believed, magic.
Culture: The people are mostly Inlanders, and that is the primary language spoken.
Religion: Elonnarism is the primary faith, although most of Deep Water and Loess have become Trailwalkers.
Trade: All of the Riverdom is quite poor, as they don't tend to trade with neighbors at all, preferring to be self-sufficient. Their technology level is fairly low, as well. They also eschew farming, mining, raising livestock, preferring to hunt and gather instead. Consequently, they don't have much of an economy. They acquire significant resources from Salt Whale and Noisy Waters as tribute.
Lava SandsLava Sands is a desert region and the most southern Inlander nation. It consists of two habitats, Riverfall and Willow. Each habitat contains a tribe of the same name, although Riverfall also contains a grove called Yule Valley.
Government: Lava Sands is a tribal nation. The chieftainess is Obsidia Wildburne. She has no family, and no heir, meaning if she were to die, the entire place would fall into chaos. Her council hates her, and she spends all of her time drinking and acting erratic, despite her desire to strengthen her nation.
Ecology: Lava Sands is largely desert, hence the name.
History: As it is a desert region, it was largely abandoned after the empire fell. Only four years ago, Alexandra managed to unite the two tribes living there with promises of good times, plenty of water, and a better future. But since coming into power all she's done is drink herself into a stupor.
Culture: The people are mostly Inlanders, and that is the primary language spoken.
Religion: Elonnarism is the primary faith.
Trade: Lava Sands is fairly poor and had little to trade with. Water is probably the most important commodity.
Siyouan NationsMarshbayMarshbay, named for the Rogue Marsh that can be found within its borders, consists of two habitats. They are Thicket and Blackwater. Thicket contains a garden of the same name (capitol), while Blackwater contains the gardens of Roserock and Gilded.
Government: Marshbay is a theocratic monarchy. The current queen is Jewel Theralite, a bold and short-tempered woman who is married (to a Freewaters) and has three adult children (two daughters and the youngest is a son). Both of her habitats are to be inherited by her daughters.
Ecology: Marshbay is largely forested, although there are mountains to the east and the coastline to the west. There's also the Rogue Marsh in the center, a dangerous area said to have many unique flora and fauna living there.
History: The land of Marshbay was originally part of the territory controlled by Marina Freewaters, mother to Aquaria Freewaters. When Marina died giving birth to Aquaria, the lands were inherited automatically by the baby, but were given control to the Theralite family as stewards. Even when Aquaria grew up and went on her crusade, the Theralites watched over the land. When the empire fell 40 years ago, Jewel's mother declared Marshbay independent, and passed its rule on to her daughter when she came of age. The Theralites have ruled this land for so long, many take it for granted. They grow fat and lazy off their people, and recently the garden of Gilded revolted and declared its independence because of it.
Culture: The people are largely Siyouan, and that is the primary language spoken.
Religion: Elonnarism is the primary faith.
Trade: Marshbay has moderate wealth, mostly from the unique herbs and other plants extracted from the Rogue Marsh, and also from some light mining in the nearby mountains.
Gold HillsGold Hills is a nation sitting on the northern border of the Celestial Empire. It has ocean to the west and mountains to the east. It consists of two habitats, Silvershore and Iron Valley. They each have only one garden. Silvershore has Gem's Pass (capitol) and Iron Valley has Mineford.
Government: Gold Hills is a theocratic monarchy. The current lord is Irrigon Stonedam. He is married to the daughter of a prefect of Celestia. They have no children yet, and Irrigon's younger sister is currently his heir.
Ecology: Gold Hills is largely hilly or mountains regions. The climate is temperate.
History: The story goes some 300 years ago, a Siyouan man named Granite went on a distant pilgrimage to the east, curious about what lay on the other side of the continent. When he returned years later, he had eschewed the faith of Elonna, and embraced some exotic, strange eastern faith that worshiped the Ancient Ones and their technology. He managed to convince many of his garden of the wonders of his faith, and they began to dig into the mountains to extract gold, silver and other precious metals. They also started delving into Ancient ruins, trying to recover whatever tech they could. A powerful paladin of Elonna named Jade caught wind of this blasphemy and raised a holy army to march on Gold Hills. There was a terrible battle, and Granite was slain. Jade named herself Warden of the area and took it over. She dismantled the factories and destroyed any tech, and closed most of the mines but left a few open as the wealth they provided was bountiful. She passed the lands on to her daughter, but some 200 years ago the Celestial Empire invaded and wiped out her entire family line before being driven back to their side of the border. It was at this point the Stonedam family took over. They have ruled the lands since then, keeping peace with the Celestians through treaties and marriages.
Culture: The people are largely Siyouan, and that is the primary language spoken.
Religion: Elonnarism is the primary faith.
Trade: Gold Hills, despite the name, isn't terribly wealthy. They do mine a little bit of precious metals and gems and trade to the Celestians, who value such things, but it's only a very small amount, as they fear disturbing the planet if they mine too much.
Crater LakeCrater Lake is a small habitat comprised of a single tribe of the same name. It's name comes from the lake, which was formed in a crater left by a volcanic eruption, that has no rivers running in or out of it. The lake is considered sacred, and a grove can be found there.
Government: Crater Lake is a tribal nation, led by Chieftain Jasper Lonepeak, a virtuous and learned man who recently married the chieftainess of a nearby tribe and is hoping to unite the two.
Ecology: The area is mostly forest, with the nearby mountains making up the western border, and where the titular lake is also found.
History: The lake was first discovered about twenty years ago, by the now chieftain. He had a vision of a new homeland for his people after they were displaced during fighting with the Celestial Empire. He led them to the mountains where the lake was first found, and people were amazed to find no rivers feeding into or out of it. There was also strong fey energies in the area. So the Crater Lake Tribe was born, making it their mission to protect the sacred lake.
Culture: The people are largely Siyouan, and that is the primary language spoken.
Religion: Elonnarism is the primary faith.
Trade: The habitat is fairly poor, and there hasn't been much trade, but recently trade has opened up with their neighbors to the south.
Salmon FallsSalmon Falls is a small habitat comprised of a single tribe of the same name. It's name comes from the waterfalls, which pours down from the nearby mountains, and are often filled with salmon. The habitat contains no groves.
Government: Salmon Falls is a tribal nation, led by Chieftainess Metalla Helmet, a well-read and articulate woman who recently married the chieftain of a nearby tribe and is hoping to unite the two.
Ecology: The area is largely plains, with a large lake and a few minor forests spread about. The climate is temperate.
History: The locals were displaced during fighting among the Celestial Empire, and founded a new tribe near the salmon abundant rapids in the area about two years ago, by the current chieftainess. She had read about the place in a book when she was a child, and so Metalla led the people there to start their lives anew, and they made her their chieftainess despite her young age (twenty-one, at the time).
Culture: The people are largely Siyouan, and that is the primary language spoken.
Religion: Elonnarism is the primary faith.
Trade: The habitat is fairly poor, and there hasn't been much trade, but recently trade has opened up with their neighbors to the north.
