The look at Kalina's face is nearly priceless as she stares at the halfling in front of her with her mouth slightly open, her upper lip very slightly curled and with one eye on the verge of twitching. She is dumbfounded from the way the woman is speaking about coffee. "I don't know," she finally says after processing what she just heard. "I have a cup of coffee nearly every day, and all it really does is wake me up a little bit."

"Only one a day!" the halfling cries, clearly distressed by this information. "No wonder, that's not nearly enough to unlock its full potential!"

"....But that is about as much as I can handle," Kalina admits.

"All you can handle?!" the halfling repeats, stupefied. "You aren't giving yourself enough credit! With enough coffee, you can do some incredible things! Here, I'll show you!" She downs the rest of her cup, then pours another, while muttering nonsense to herself and waving her hand over the cup, like a witch over a bubbling cauldron. "There, try this," she says, offering the cup with shaking hands to the drow. "I guarantee it will bolster your body's natural endurance! I added a touch of cinnamon to it. That's just for flavor, though."

April covers her ears and takes deep breaths, trying to stay calm. The Halfling's shrill, inane remarks are bothering her. "What's your name?" she asks her, trying to get her off the subject of coffee.

Kalina honestly seems a little skeptical as she cautiously takes the drink from the halfling in front of her. "Uh, who are you talking to?" she asks to the woman behind her. "I'm Kalinda if you're asking me." She looks down at the coffee in her hand, then down to the halfling in front of her and lets out a sigh before she finally drinks from the cup provided to her.
OOC: So apparently I can't remember my character's name. It is actually Kalinda.

"Call me Starbuck," the halfling says, then eagerly watches as Kalinda drinks the coffee. It tastes good, and she feels a warmth and pleasant tingle flow through her body when she finishes.

April narrows her eyes at Starbuck, somehow suspicious of the woman. "All right, 'Starbuck,'" she says. If that's even your real name, she thinks. "Have you seen a bald Dwarf with a red beard and a tattoo?"

"No, but I once saw a green clean-shaven gnome with a pierced nose," Starbuck offers. "I don't think he was feeling particularly well that day."

Kalinda takes note of the look in April's eye, and shakes her head. "She isn't wrong about the coffee. This is a little different than what I am used to."

Penelope was perfectly fine ignoring the conversation between the drow and the hafling addicted on caffeine. In all honesty, the little woman reminded her of many people she had met during her investigations in shady places: the shaking, the fast talking, the muttering nonsense. Althought she had to admit the substances they were addicted to were a bit different. Nevertheless, she had learned to stay clear of them: unreliable informators and usually liars. So Poppy had let herself doze off, not really paying attention to their conversation or to the new arrival. That's why she almost jumped when she heard that question, in that stern voice. "Have you seen a bald Dwarf with a red beard and a tattoo?" She couldn't help but turn around to look at the source of the voice. She wondered which role had that woman in that situation. But most importantly Penelope wondered if she was out of her mind, if she kept asking it this way it could alert the dwarf that someone is onto him. She had to stop her. She went to move but then stopped, what if someone had already noticed the strange woman in the colorful armor? Before acting, Penelope looked around to see if someone else was watching the scene.

Nervously, Poppy glances around the sea of faces of customers, coming and going, but also those sitting down at the various tables, drinking their coffees.
"Miss?"
Were any of them paying a little too much attention to the conversation about the bald dwarf? Were any visibly reacting?
"Excuse me? Helloooooo..."
Her investigation pans out, as she notices one of the customers in particular, a dark elf woman, is pretending to read a book in her lap but is very clearly listening in on the conversation and casting glances toward both of the conversationalists while trying to appear nonchalant.
"HEY, LADY! YOU ORDERING SOMETHING?!"
Snapping her attention back to the counter, Poppy realizes that the people in front of her have moved on, and she is now at the front of the line. The dragonborn barista is looking at her expectantly, an annoyed expression on his face, his arms crossed, and his tail slapping the back of the counter in impatience.

Penelope slightly winced as the barista called for her, she didn't even want the coffee anymore but didn't want to risk pulling attention. - "Oh, ops! I'm so sorry! I dozed off!" - she says with a smile, twirling her braind through her fingers. - "Can I get- uuuuh..." - she panned quickly through her options before ordering a drink, a brew which added cocoa powder to coffee.
She smiled to the angered barista, and as she waited for her order she glanced once more to the woman 'reading' her book, as she waits for the situation to evolve.
