Poppy smiled at Crane, if she had to work for him she wanted to know him better, and she liked what she heard so far. Their conversation gave her more tranquility after that long eventful day. - "I think I stole enough of your time, thank you Mister Crane. I hope when the time will allow it I'll get a chance to see a glimpse of the young partying Crane."
After that she excuses herself and, although a bit tired, she goes finding Pike.

Pike's office is far smaller and more humble and spartan in decor than the others. He sits in a simple chair at a simple desk. The walls are bare of any art or decoration. If he was not already present, she might not even realize this was a councilman's office. Looking up, he acknowledges her. "Ah, Miss...Poppy, was it? What do you need?"

Poppy enters the office waving at Pike: "Yup, it's me! I wanted to ask you a couple of things, if it's not too much of a bother. Do you remember what that knight told you today? About the bald dwarf with the tattoo?"

This morning I saw a female drow eavesdropping on April as she was talking about the dwarf, and later the same drow seemed to follow her, before entering the building housing a shop called 'The Sailor's Way'." - she pauses, before adding. - "I think it might be worth checking that place."

If he has ties here in Salt Whale it's better if we find it before they have time to cover up. Crane and this city already have enough problems to think about without a criminal organization to bring even more troubles."

From what Poppy can tell, Pike is doing the exact same thing she is doing--attempting to suss out her intent and motive. It's clear he doesn't buy she's just acting out of altruism or patriotic pride. He's closely watching her every expression and reaction.

"It's not new, for starters." - it had been almost ten years since she saw them in action. Since she heard her family screams. Now that she thought about it, it was a few days after her birthday, so it would be the 10 years anniversay in a few days. - "But if you never heard of them, maybe the dwarf is here just to carry a job and they don't actually have a proper base here. I'm not sure about the involvement of the female drow, that's why I'm asking you to investigate her and that building." - she then explains to him what other details she know about the group, except for her personal involvement. - "That's all I know, it's not much but it's enough to know that's not a group I'd want in a town where I'm planning on living for the next foreseeable future."

Poppy nods: "Anything could be useful." - she says. There were a couple other things she intended to discuss, but she suddenly felt all the tiredness she accumulated during the day, so she decides to excuses herself before finally going to sleep.
