Poppy can't help herself and chuckles: "Of course, of course. I'll make sure to let good ol' Crane know." - she then waves to the others and takes her leave.
Before heading to the palace, she decides to act on what Kalinda said to her earlier and visit the beach. The sight of the sea at night always had a relaxing effect on her and she kinda needed it right. With everything that happened that day she doubted she could fall asleep right now otherwise.

Si'ahl has a number of beaches, so Poppy just heads to the closest one. Right now, it's fairly deserted, although there are a couple of kids--a Triton and a Sea Elf--splashing around in the water a good distance out. Otherwise, it's fairly quiet, save for the sound of the waves crashing on the shore and the occasional squawk of a seagull flying above. |

Poppy lays down on the log near the sea, and just... relaxes a bit, lulled by the sound of the waves. Occasionally she watches the kids playing, a bit surprised they're allowed to stay here on their own, especially with what happened earlier today, but if nothing else happens she eventually leaves to return to the palace for the night.

Kalinda was surprised that she was getting a free meal, but she wasn't going to complain. Instead, she heads on back to her home to just kind of relax. She was working a double tomorrow since Crane wasn't going to call on them for another week.

April quietly finishes her food and waits for a while, rather lost for what to do. After a while to think, she decides to find the aaracockra guard she met earlier, and thank him for his help against the Ravenites.

April finds the same aarakocra guard not too far from where she originally found him, helping coordinate with other garden guards to restore order to things. Currently, he's just finishing up a quick meeting with a few other guards, who disperse just as April arrives.

"Thank you so much for your help against the Ravenites," April says after greeting him. "We couldn't have driven them away without you. I'm April Showers, by the way," she introduces.

"Supervisor Crane actually asked for our help to figure out how to defend Salt Whale in the long term," April mentions. "So we'll probably be seeing each other more."

Once arrived at the palace, Poppy first searches for Olivia.

The meeting room is empty now, as the council has been dismissed. But asking around the palace servants and guards, Poppy is directed to Olivia's office. It's sort of her general workspace when she's in Si'ahl, and a place to take personal meetings and such. She sits at a coral desk, doing paperwork. There's several bookshelves lining the walls, each carrying numerous religious and historical tomes. The office is also heavily decorated with Elonnori imagery and symbology.
Stepping inside, Olivia looks up from her work at Poppy. "Ah, hello. Poppy, wasn't it? What can I do for you?"

Poppy nods at Olivia question, before speaking: "Yup, it's me! I hope I'm not bothering you!" - she glances at the tomes on the bookshelves. - "Today around town I heard some rumors about a group of Elonnori that did something heretical before flewing to the west... I was wondering if you knew more about this topic."

"That does sound vaguely familiar," Olivia says. Standing, she moves to one of her bookshelves and looks over the spines until finding a book in particular and pulling it off the shelf. She flips through it. "Ah, yes, perhaps you are referring to the Kamyllist movement? They were a heretical faction that believed Elonna was not the spirit of the earth, but rather, the spirit of the ocean." She snorts derisively. "People will believe any old thing, no matter how ridiculous, I swear. Anyway, they were driven west years ago, probably to be closer to the ocean. I haven't heard anything about them, and assume they've probably died off by now."
