Sylas for the first time breaks the silence and responds in Deamon: "And? We both know that you are not sharing this information with five armed strangers out of the goodness of your heart. Get to the point, human."
When he says "armed" he gives a tug at the string of his bow to add an undertone of threat to his demand to cut the chase.

"The lovely young lady here has the right of it," the human says. "The table seats nine, and we are only four. The more seats we can fill at the table, the better our chances are. The casino will probably kick us out if we win too much, but we can make a lot of good coin before then, especially if we are all working together. What do you say?"

Sylas, having heard the human's offer, shrugs, loosens his grip on the bow and puts it back on his back. Then he says in drow for Zemora and Nerisse benefit: "We are indeed penniless and it could be easy money, but as Ellasandra says we have the investigation to carry on and it could be a trap to lead us down some alley or use as a scapegoat in the casino. I see no right answer to the offer."
Then he continues in Deamon: "If the others are up for it, I don't see why not, human."

OOC: Do I know of any stories related to the treatment that is given to those who cheat at Ruby Queen? Most importantly, do I know if it is related to any criminal activity? In case things were to get heated.

"Huh. Must be pretty important, to turn down free money," the human notes to Nerisse. "Well, suit yourselves. You'll know where to find us if you change your minds."
Sylas doesn't have much of a criminal background, having only been in the city about a year and largely being a mercenary in that time. He has heard of the Ruby Queen in passing, however. Word on the street is that it is run by drow woman. That's probably more than enough to guess how she would treat cheaters.

Nerisse freezes for a bit when Sylas mentions who runs the place, and shudders a bit as she leads the way. “Maybe that’s how YOU feel, Zemora. As for me, I wouldn’t go home or anywhere like it for all the free money in Crizzaria,” she says sourly.

The party presses on, and nobody else bothers them until they reach the wall that separates the Labor and Academic sectors. The main gate stands open, but there are two tiefling ONK officers guarding it. "State your business," one of them says, sounding a bit bored.
