"Sylas, you don't have to tell me what to do. It's not my first time at the rodeo, as they say." - Zemora says firmly. She wasn't used to men being that assertive, not drow men anyway, but she didn't really mind. It was good to see one of them showing a bit of strenght of character for a change. After everyone else is done examing the corpse, she ties her hair back, wears gloves and a mask and began cutting the body right where the previous cut was.
Zemora takes a huge breath as she cut the wound open, she knows it passed some time from the man death and, even if she feigned security with the others, autopsies were not her area of expertise but she hoped her medical knowledge would be enough to recognize any sign of poisoning. In her analysis, she focuses mostly on the respiratory system and in the digestive system. Traces of poisons would be gone by now, but damage done to the tissues should still be visible, and abnormal traces of mucus or fluids could give them precious clue on what happened to Edword.
The priestess realizes she hasn't exhaled yet, so she does. - 'Renos, please give me a hint.'

Then he turns to Anise, saying, "Doctor, do you know in what position the deceased was found? It might help to reconstruct what happened." "I don't have the police report handy, but if I'm remembering correctly, he was found in his private study, sitting at his desk," Anise answers. "I believe his wife found him after returning from a shopping trip. It's been a week, though, so I might be misremembering some details." The sisters work together to examine the body, the organs, and anything else they can think to. After an hour of grueling and nauseating work, they conclude that this man did not die of poison or disease. His organs show no signs of ill health. He seemed to have died perfectly healthy. Which means either his death was just a random quirk of nature, an unfortunate but random tragedy--or something more mystical is behind his demise.

"Did you, perhaps, speak to the wife?" Ellasandra asks Anise.

Tukgruff shrug
"I can tell it is not from parasites, at least. So there is that."
(Would allow also to roll animal lore?)

"When she came down here and demanded an autopsy, yeah," Anise confirms.
(OOC: You could, but it won't result in any new information.)

Zemora removes the equipment she used and put it back. She sighs. - "Unless Narisse found anything else, I have to say that the doctor here was right." - sadly. The drow wished she could have proved her wrong, after her quip about clerics. - "There doesn't seem to be any mundane external agent to this death. Magic, maybe? But we would be talking about potent stuff."
She turns toward the coroner: "I have one last question doctor, what about his personal belongings? The clothes he was wearing at the moment of his death, etc. Did you have a look at those too?"

"No, his family had already held a funeral and placed him in the family crypt before his widow insisted on bringing him out here," Anise answers. "So I never saw what he was wearing when he died."

"Hmm...Makes sense. Thank you." - did it, thought? Their young pupil dies out of the blue, and they don't think about having an autopsy to make sure nothing afoul is at play? Maybe it was her drow mentality and inclination to intrigue, but that seemed really weird to her. - "I think we're done here. Ellasandra did you say you wanted to go to his family next? I'll come with you."

Tukgruff raise his hand "Before we go.. do you know who has seen the corpse before you, doc?"

"Lots of people, I imagine," Anise answered the dwarf. "The widow, the police, the family, whoever attended the funeral. I was probably the very last person to see it before you lot came down here."

"I do want to visit the family," Ellasandra says to Zemora. "But if you could wait a moment," she says. She looks back to Anise, and says. "What do you mean that she demanded an autopsy?" she asks. "The woman that we met was not demanding at all."

"Oh, she was quite insistent," Anise assures her. "The family had already held a funeral and placed the body in the family crypt, and she had them haul it back out and bring it here, and has kept it here ever since. Even after the autopsy showed nothing amiss, she still refuses to let the family take back the body." She shakes her head. "I imagine the family will get their lawyers involved sooner or later."

"Grimm buisness." Tukgruff mutter. "Sorry for asking, ma'am. Do you have any connection to the family? Does the family visit here often?"

"No," Anise says. "Never had any dealings with them at all until this whole thing happened."

"That is really odd," Ellasandra says thoughtfully. While she considers the possibility that the woman that they met might actually be deceiving them in some way, she over to Zemora. "Let's go question the family, if we can," she says. She wasn't sure the family was going to be willing to speak to them, but Zemora seemed to be pretty clever, so it might work out.
