Moving on, the party continues trekking northward for another hour or so. When the sun reaches its apex, they come across some people. A man, dressed in leathers and armed with a bow and hatchet, is leading a group of youths, teen boys between 13 and 15 years of age. The boys are rowdy and energetic, but the lone man seems to be keeping them in line, for the most part. They all wear face paint, and the boys carry their own bows and hatchets, as well.
Upon noticing the party, the man leads his group toward them. He raises a hand to them. "Kíl'láa!" he calls in Raven Call to Terani. "Gíitl'daas dáng? Sán tl'aa dáng áatl'an?" he asks.
(Translation: "Hello! Who are you? What are you doing out here?")

Terani raises his hand in the same way as response, but then brings his hand to his throat and taps it as he mimes talking. He gives a half point towards Poppy in the hope she could assist with this.

"Hello to you, man." - Poppy answers, raising in hand to greet the three. - "Those men responds to me, they don't speak your language. We're on the road to Sùu, where we are to meet the prince." - she then looks at the two boys. - "Teaching the young men how to hunt?"
Poppy raises her hand to greet the man, she talks to him before looking at the two boys. |

The hunter appears confused. He looks between Terani and Poppy. The boys (about half a dozen of them, not just two) snicker a bit, but he silences them with a look. Then he looks back to Terani. "Hláa amahl gudáng. Daláng jaadáa kíilang k'yúusd dáa?" he asks. He looks to Blitz. "Hlangaa dáa tlaayd díi gudáng?"
(Translation: "I don't understand. Your woman speaks for you?" and "Can you explain this?")

Terani teosta his miming but looking like he's trying to shout but letting out only the smallest hint of a noise that probably won't even be heard.
Giving up, he resorts to sign language. Drawing a circle around the group with a wave of his hand, then two fingers down that then mimic walking before creating a crown with his hands upon his head.

The man attempts to absorb this information, and still seems a bit put off having to converse with Poppy. "Daláng gid Elonnori? Sán tl'aa daláng ñáajgad íitl'aagíid íihlangaas?"
"I think it's going well," Blitz whispers to the others.
(Translation: "You are Elonnori? Why are you seeing the prince?")

Poppy says to Blitz: " Please, wait a couple of seconds and then nod along.", as soon as the aarakocra does that, she starts talking again, this time pointing at April, Kalinda, and Mizzle: "We bear a gift from his father, the king. He bought these Elonnori women for him." |

(OOC: I have to get ready for work, so don't have time to actually type out what he's saying this time, sorry.)
Blitz nods along as they talk, hoping it helps. Meanwhile, the hunter looks skeptically at the party, before pointing to the coral sword on Kalinda's hip and the coral armor worn by April, as well as her coral blade and glaive, while speaking in his language.
(Translation: ""If these women are gifts, why are they so heavily armed? This one even wears Elonnori coral armor.")
