Mizzle moves to Kalinda and places an ear on her chest, then over her ear. "She lives," she observes. "Her heartbeat and breathing are slowed, but stable. I'll see what I can do." She moves the water surrounding her and has it coat Kalinda's wounds, then focuses on it, beads of perspiration beginning to form on the genasi's brow from the effort. The water starts to glow a bit, but the light flickers and dies. Kalinda's wounds remain unchanged. Sighing in defeat, Mizzle coaxes the water, or what remains of it, back into her waterskin. "I'm completely tapped out. Sorry."

"It is my fault... I was reckless with my use of magic and too slow with wearing this infernal armour..." He sits at the side of Kalinda, trying to make her as comfortable as he can. "Do you all wish for a rest before you proceed on? There's little I can do now in any case... And feel this island holds more that needs doing."

April nods, praying to Elonna and restoring Kalinda with holy light, flowing through her hands and onto Kalinda's body. "That won't do much, but it should get her up," April says. "I could try to heal her more, but then I'd be out of magic for the day."

Kalinda's eyes open as she wakes up from April's healing. She finds the forest quiet and no enemies still standing.

Althought I would gather that the curse is probably starting somewhere inside the temple the locals they talked about." - Poppy suggests, - "Although before going further we should probably catch our breath a little... I'm already winded after that fight..."

"That's hard to say," Mizzle admits. "I've never dealt with such a thing before. I didn't even know groves could be tainted like this. It's unheard of where I come from. But I think the immediate danger has passed, at least."
