Inspecting the tree, at first glance it appears to be quite dead. No leaves grow upon it, despite the season and weather. Upon looking at it closer, though, Terani notices strange black veins pulsating throughout its bark, like some kind of strange sickness, although not one he recognizes.

"There... is a darkness in the tree! It's almost as if it were alive with veins of black evil..." Terani says, then recoiling back away in case it were to suddenly come even more alive and strike at him. Once back with the group, he whispers, still feeling like the tree was alive and listening to him "Should we quickly get fire wood and set it alight?"
