About Parra's idea- yeah, but she juat always try to work toward using the voodoo stuff.
So far I think she has always failed.

Yeah, it's not a terribly useful skill in a game like this. Most of the NPCs that Parra has tried to use it on aren't around long enough to matter. They appear, play their part, then exit and are never seen again. So even when she succeeds in gathering the ingredients and making the doll, she never has cause to use it.

Yes, very weak. Maybe the equivalent of a candle--so around 5' of light, at best.

xD maybe just a loud blast of light and sound that lasts 1 sec to alert everything within 30 ft. after all, it is just a cantrip  |

Does Sha'al recognize this type of creature? They sound a little like Mahkwahb but not strongly

Definitely not a Mahkwahb or any other kind of sea elf. However, Sha'al is a mariner, and well-traveled, and probably seen and heard of all sorts of things in the past, so I'll let you make an INT check to see if he has any idea what these creatures might be.

Just barely!
Sha'al would recognize these creatures as being Skulks. They are a cowardly and deceptive race of people, who often use their chameleon-like powers to spy, eavesdrop, rob and mug innocent people. They are fairly rare and often act in the shadows, so it's not clear what drew them to this ship or for what reason.

Ooh... interesting new critter. Never heard of thag one, but not super versed in DL Broken clock is right twice a day Unless... it's digital AND doesn't recover power... then it's just blank.. and sad... |
