"I don't know Culley, but I also don't think you would be friends with someone that has done this to innocent farmers," Ha Yun says. "When was the last time you got some sleep?" she asks

Chispa asks Kianna again if she can approach and tries to calm her down. "You seem very tired. We will help you." She tries to gently support her weight and let her rest her muscles. "We will stay here until Culley arrives and wake you up. You can rest now." She also tries to put Kianna's hand holding the knife down.

(OOC: I thought of WIS but you say it doesn't help with saving throws, so I don't see the point. Horizon, what do you think? You already have high charisma which is your ability for attack and spell casting. Anything else that would help?)

"No, no sleep...can't sleep...the nightmares," Kianna mutters feverishly.  "You can't be here when he wakes.  He'll be hungry again.  He's always so hungry..."  Suddenly, her demeanor changes and she cheerfully says, "Sure, have a seat.  Culley always likes meeting new friends.  Everyone who meets him always likes him.  That's why they do everything he says."

Chispa gets closer to Kianna and put her hand gently on her shoulder. "Look honey, deep down you know it is not Culley who returned. Yes, it has his voice, and yes, you really want him to be back. I understand you. I met a lot of people who lost closed ones. But he drowned and what have returned is someone else... SOMETHING else." she waits a moment, holding Kianna' gaze, "I know you want us to leave for our own sake, but I'll not leave you here alone. If this creature is hungry as you say and can make people do what he wants, the moment he will notice no farmers left to come here for you, it might turn on you. I'll stay with you and do what I can to protect you."

(OOC: Since it's the third time we go with Kianna back and forth, I feel like Kianna desire for us to leave is part of the progress of the game. But I don't feel it is what our characters will do.
I'm ready to hear other suggestion than wait for Culley creature to come and do what we can to save both Kianna and Culley if possible.
Anyway, if we get fair warning before the fights begin, Chispa will cast bless before the battle. Otherwise she will cast it on the first round.
Enhance ability and Bless both requires concentration. So can't happen simultaneously if I'm not mistaken, but if anyone want 'Enhance ability' after the bless duration passes (1m), please ask now so we can be efficient in battle.)

Zencho as usual doesnt argue- he usually try to accept what it is.

Zenchi offer his waterskin.

'Nightmares. Eh? Have you tried to drink yourself to sleep? It helped me before.'
He think.'How about you tell about Culley... before all that? How have you met each other... why is he.. so important to you?'

Maybe the talk about the real Culley will trigger some sanity..

"Singing...yes, singing....helps keep him asleep longer, I think," Kianna says, a bit deliriously.  She begins singing again, off-key and hoarsely, clearly exhausted but doing her best regardless.  She ignores any other questions or comments from the party now.

As they sit there with her, waiting for Culley to return, the party starts to feel a bit odd themselves.  A strange tickle in the brain.  Sometimes they hear what sounds like a child whispering just behind them, but when they turn there is nobody there.  Difficulty concentrating, and a strong sense of restlessness.  The longer the party sits down in the cave, the stronger and more frequent these things occur.

(OOC:  The party is in a cavern.  It is mostly closed, save the way they came in through the cellar, although there are small tunnels branching off it, they are too small for even Seeboe to fit through comfortably.)

"I'll join her in singing, but you guys look around." Ha Yun walks up to Kianna, and listens to the song a little before she joins in. Ahe had heard enough of the aong that she felt she could make it through.

Vulpi will sit against the wall at position 11 across 4 down so they can see both the entrance and much of the cave whale having their back to the wall. They understand that right now there isn't much to do other than wait: Kianna won't leave, but will surely pass out eventually and  when that happens everything will be in danger. It is a good time for whittling. -I'm imagining this cavern is made of dirt, if not ignore from here on- They use mold earth to make themselves a dirt chair and dig into the side of the wall next to them just a little to improve their lines of sight for the rest of the cavern then make a 6 inch diameter hole straight to the entrance so they'll be able to see flashes of things coming in and out (5 across 8 down is where I imagine the end of the 6 inch diameter hole going to).

He nodded at  Ha-Yun's order/guidance, taking watch on the opposite side of Seeboe

At Ha-Yun's instruction to 'look around,' Seeboe moves toward the northern cavern wall to inspect it, but everyone else sits down to keep watch instead.  However, nothing happens...aside from the buzzing in their brains getting louder, the whispers in their ears becoming more common, and Ha-Yun's voice growing hoarser as she sings along with Kianna.

(I love how our OOC misunderstanding cannonized, usually my players would argue with me about such things, but it is it's own kind of fun)


Zencho grow bored quickly, and he get up and start to patrol around, alert

Ha Yun looks towards Chispa and Vulpi in confusion as she sings. Finally, she just stops singing because it was hurting her throat. "Why aren't you two searching the area?" She asks. Her voice sounds like of scratchy. "And this buzzing in my head is starting to hurt. We can't stay down here."
