Hi, Eyal. Long time, no see. Things are doing pretty well. Still gaming, although on a different world now. Heather and Keith are still around, too. How have things been on your end?

Great.
I started playing WoW at 2006 but unfortunately I've completely stopped any form of RP or AD&D gameplay.
And I've taken up Photography as a hobby.
Aside from that, nothing relevant that is new. Decided I want to reconnect with old people I knew... erm, I mean, people I used to know, you're not old Heather!

Never got into WoW myself. Knowing me, I'll be running these old 2E games long into my 30s, though.

I don't think I would've either, but I got into a guild of really great people real early and that tends to keep you in. Come for the game, stay for the people kind of thing. 2E is still my favourite, I guess 'cos I grew with it. And you plan on quitting it that early? I think at the age of 90+ it is still valid to play it. Or Dm'ing it. Though the stress of the DM might be too much at times I think RolePlaying/AD&D is ageless, although the Runequest system piqued my interest, and looks more realistic in a way. With no levels, skill based and combat is more elaborated on presenting real danger from early mobs at any time, meaning an enemy encountered at the beginning is the same type of deadly later on. Just the character is more powerful. Haven't played it tho'

I've played a few MMORPGs (Ultima Online and Final Fantasy 11 primarily) and I've had the exact opposite experience. Nearly everyone I met on those games was either a complete ass or a total moron (or both). Whenever I would find that sole exception to the rule, they would only play for a month or so, then vanish forever. You're lucky to have found decent people to play with.
As for tabletop gaming, 2E is the only game I've ever run or even played. Wait, that's not true. I'm in a Basic D&D game at the moment, too. Now that's old school.

Yeah, yeah, sure I'm not old! Actually, I think David will be playing AD&D well into his 40's. It isn't something he'll be able to give up. Photography huh? Are you any good?

I don't deem myself good since I'm aiming at a professional level of quality. Currently my gear is cheap gear, and that also reflects on the quality of the images. You can judge for yourself at frids.deviantart.comI recently bought a new lens for macro shots, it will hopefully arrive soon. My first high quality lens. And it's a cheap one! at 700 USD And yeah, David, many are quite the a-holes, or little selfish kids, immature people... but that's also in real life. I have been lucky to meet those people and that's what kept me there.
