Clerics
I will be using the standard Cleric class and Druid class from AD&D found in the PHB, not the specialty priest classes found in the TotL. The standard rules apply, regardless of which god you follow, but I will throw in a bonus granted power for each deity.
Good Paladine - (Cleric) Smite Evil Mishakal - (Cleric) Lay on Hands Majere - (Cleric) Summon Insects Kiri-Jolith - (Cleric) Incite Berserker Rage Habbakuk - (Druid) Branchala - (Cleric) Charm/Fascination Solinari - (Mage)
Neutral Gilean - (Cleric) Bonus NWPs Sirrion - (Druid) Fire Immunity Reorx - (Cleric) Crafting Bonus Chislev - (Druid) Zivilyn - (Cleric) Divination Bonus Shinare - (Cleric) EXP for money Lunitari - (Mage)
Evil Takhisis - (Cleric) Smite Good Sargonnas - (Cleric) Incite Berserker Rage Morgion - (Cleric) Cause Disease Chemosh - (Cleric) Inspire Fear Zeboim - (Druid) Water Breathing Hiddukel - (Cleric) Divination Immunity Nuitari - (Mage)

The ability score adjustments for Kagonesti are listed as +1 STR/CON and +2 DEX, but -3 INT in Tales of the Lance.
I will be using the ones from the Complete Book of Elves, instead. They are +1 STR/DEX and -1 CON/CHA.

I will be using the following stats for kender--they are a mix of what's found in TotL and The Complete Book of Gnomes and Halflings.
Ability Score Adjustments: +2 DEX (max 19)/-1 STR Min/Max Scores: 6/16 STR, 8/19 DEX, 10/18 CON, 6/18 INT, 3/16 WIS, 6/18 CHA Abilities: 30' infravision, Taunting, Fearlessness, Opponents suffer -4 to surprise, +1 to all kender weapons (hoopak, chapak, whippik, etc.) Thief skills (if not a thief/handler): PP 25%, OL 25%, F/RT 25%, MS 25%, HS 25%, DN 25%, CW 50%, RL 10%
Also, on a sidenote, I won't be using level limits, just like in my Cradle games.

This is not a fix, but rather a new house rule I'd like to test out in this game. And if it works out okay, I'll use it in future games, too.
I am changing bow and crossbow specialization into a specialization style (like sword and shield style specialization or two handed weapon style specialization). This will be split into two styles--bows (long, short, composite) and crossbows (hand, light, heavy).
My reasoning is that nobody ever specializes in bows anyway. If you are a fighter, you're better off putting your specialization in a melee weapon. If you want to be an archer, most people prefer ranger or thief anyway (and neither can specialize). The benefits for bow specialization (point blank shot) don't outweigh the benefits of melee specialization (extra attacks, +1 to hit, +2 damage), so there's absolutely no motivation to make an archery fighter anyway.

Some additional things... I will not be using my accelerated XP system for this game. The modules are dependent on the party maintaining a certain level. They are only expected to level up once in DL1, for instance. So I will be using the standard 'shared combat XP' rule from the core rules. If the party is leveling too slowly, I'll bump up the XP a bit. If they are leveling too quickly...well, hey, that's what level-draining undead are for, am I right? I will not be taking on any more NPCs in the party. Five is my limit, man. However, there are various NPCs in the modules that can be recruited in the party. If you wish to do so, you can take them as henchmen. I will alert you OOC when such an opportunity arises. Kendra may take up to six henchmen, Gaffleknot can take up to 8 (Lirian counts as one, so 7 now). Most of the game is spent moving from one place to another. There's not a lot of downtime, especially with an army of darkness slowly overtaking the entire continent. Thus, when a player obtains a new WP or NWP slot, I won't insist they take time to train for it. They may obtain it automatically at level-up. I will retain my Fate Point system. But I'll be calling them Faith Points. Instead of your character 'reweaving fate' they are being protected by their gods instead. That's all for now.
