I'm bored. I feel like it's been a month, and nothing's been happening.

Well, Heather hasn't finished her character yet, as she's been busy with school.

Well, that's good to know.

I just really want to game.

That's all that's left to be done? A character background?

She needs to level up Kendra, too.

Plus, I have a couple more tasks left, like writing up the oversight representative NPCs.

Truly, Drogo was a quiet soul in much pain.

[Daos]

Yeah, it was nice to finally get his backstory out. His failure as a character was my fault, though. My idea was he would start out aloof and distant, but slowly come out of his shell over time. But I guess I made him too distant and aloof, because he never really connected with the party. There was more reaction toward Zevar (granted, it was negative reaction) than Drogo. Ah, well. Live and learn.

I decided to update my appearance and personality:

Appearance

Sunny is a relatively tall hobbit with a lean, but athletic build and small clever hands. His skin is tan and healthy. He has curly strawberry-blond hair, and his eyes, though an unremarkable brown, are lively and mischievous. His mouth seems to be perpetually quirked into a grin. Sunny is lithe, agile, and strong. Years of long practice with the Order of Arvoreen have gifted him with an almost feline grace that few can match and allows him to move across the battlefield with impunity. Properly armed and armored, Sunny is a fearsome warrior to behold.

Normally, Sunny wears a yellow waistcoat, white linen shirt, red knee breeches, and a black neckcloth. Over this garb, he wears a green jacket with a carved wooden badge of an owl on his jacket lapel. His clothes are fine, fashionable, and all tailored by the clever seamstresses of his family. His feet, like all hobbits, are bare with only light tufts of hair. The symbol of the Light of Solace Church hangs from his neck from a length of thick cord. During winter, he will don a comfortable grey cloak. His only arms will be a bronze short sword and dagger, both sheathed and hanging from his leather belt.

When preparing for battle, Sunny wears the battle dress of his Order: a bronze breastplate; an open faced helmet; bronze greaves; studded leather skirt; and finally, a white cloak with a single azure stripe. In his left hand, a short sword flashes in the sun; in the other hand, he carries a sturdy shield of exquisite craftsmanship with an intricate yellow-red sunflower painted upon its dark burnished surface. Across his shoulder is a bow of yew and a quiver of arrows. He is also a master of spear, lance, and horse, learned from his days traveling the plains with the Outriders. Around his waist, he carries several flask of liquid fire, which he uses to surprise and distract enemies.

Sunny's fighting style can be best described as the straightforward tactics of a hoplite married with the cunning and guile afforded by his small stature and agile frame. In battle, Sunny prefers to be unpredictable, yet cautious and careful, often planning out his strategy several moves in advance.

Personality

Sunny is affable and gregarious, but also serious and dedicated. He is somewhat mischievous and loves riddles and practical jokes, especially on himself. He is diligent and possesses a generous and patient spirit. His bravery and courage sometimes borders on recklessness, but is tempered by wisdom that is only born through loss. During some moments, a melancholy spirit lingers over his countenance, as if he is troubled by dark ghosts.

Sunny has a keen, inquisitive mind. He will often plan out scenarios far in advance with several contingencies in place. He also enjoys reading about history or philosophy, keeping several scrolls and books on various subjects. He will debate endlessly on any subject, excepting politics, which he will politely defer while offering no hint of his own position.

Sunny is especially careful with his words, understanding that a well-placed turn of phrase could very start wars and end lives. The weight of the world is on his shoulders, but he shows no sign of the burden. He has an unassuming appearance, and yet he seems to draw people around to him with his simple, but earnest manner.

I think I shall have Sunny purchase a few blank leather bound books, which he will then use to record a journal or log of the entire voyage of the Dawn's Bride.

Did you ever say what the compressed gas and magical beer in Sunny's inventory did?

We never had them properly identified in-game, no.
