Okay, I'm going to go ahead and set the first session for next Thursday. That's November 11th. I'll set the time for let's say...5 PM Pacific? If that's a problem, let me know. We have a week to work things out, if necessary.

I had to pick up my tux for my sister's wedding on Saturday. We're stuck in traffic now. Consequently, we'll be a little late for the session.

Okay. Well, despite starting late and ending early, I thought that went pretty darn well. What did you guys think? Any thoughts? So far, we are following the novel fairly close, but that could change in the future.
Mostly, we need to decide what to do. Several characters offered up advice, and it seems like the majority (so far) was leaning toward the elves.
Anyway, I work next Thursday, but I'm going to try and get it off so we can have a session then. I'll keep you updated on whether I succeed or not.

Sorry about the delays there. Our internet died on Sunday, and just now returned.
I'm afraid I cannot officially announce when session 2 will be just yet. I've exhausted all of my options save one. There's a guy who is working Thursday morning and gets off at 4. I'm hoping to switch shifts with him, as that will free me up for the game. However, as it's the premiere of Harry Potter 7, I don't know if he'll go for it. I called his roommate and I'm waiting to hear back.
As the following Thursday is Thanksgiving, I'd really like to have a session this week if possible. I don't want to go two weeks with no session!
I'll report on when session 2 will be as soon as I know more.

All right, looks like I've failed. Short of just calling in on Thursday, I'll have to work that night. That means no session. Sorry, guys.
