Eringard lowers her pack near the table Elvarian sat at, but does not sit. She listens to the flute, trying to recognise the tune. When Elvarian makes his order, she says: "The same for me, please." Then she walks over to the musician and listens. When the woman stops, she starts a conversation about the music until her food arrives, then excuses herself and sits with Elvarian.

"An illness? Ah, you must mean the dream fever," Gimak says. "Heard about that, too. Mostly just rumors, some of which contradict themselves. Sounds like dark magic to me, whatever it is." Drezden "Bout what I was thinkin' evil magics at work causin that illness. How long yah been here Gimak? Ever head of this dream fever aside from here?"

The innkeeper nods and heads to the back to get Elvarian's and Eringard's orders.
Meanwhile, Eringard approaches the minstrel playing. She is a young woman, perhaps in her twenties, with brown skin and black hair. Eringard would guess she is likely from Rashemen, a land far to the northeast of here. When she finishes playing, she smiles at Eringard brightly. "Ah, an appreciator of music? What did you think?" she asks in an accented voice. "I've been practicing my western music. It is very different than what I am used to."
Over at the bar, Gimak tells Drezden, "Not too long. Just a couple of weeks. Can't say I ever heard of a disease like the one here. Never heard of it in my travels; didn't even know there was a sickness here until I got here. So far I feel fine, at least. But I haven't spent much time in town. Only when I have to. It's too surreal to walk around with all those Zhents all over the place."

Drezden "Well least the illness be confined ta just here. Careful how loud yah talk Gimak sayin things too loud might get yer head separated from yer shoulders round these parts." looking around unsure who might be a Zhent agent then whispering to Gimak "I don't like it much either, but yah never know who's here workin for em either." the Ranger signals for two drinks "Here let me order yah an ale at least as thanks for the little chat and the information."

"Fair point," Gimak says. "I should know better, too. Turned out one of my traveling companions was a Zhent spy. She turned on us, and had to put her down. My group broke up after that and I've been on my own since." He shakes his head. "Never would have thought an elf would be working for the Zhents."
The innkeeper returns from the back and places Elvarian's and Eringard's food and drink at their table. "Two bowls of stew and a pitcher of beer, that comes to three silver," she says. She then approaches the bar to take Drezden's order. "Beer, ale, or mint wine?" she asks.

Drezden looks to Gimak and asks "What do ya feel like ale, beer? I shouldn't have ta ask if ya want the mint wine." waiting for Gimak a moment then answering before Gimak replies "I'm gonna take a rough guess but two ales if ya would madam." smiling kindly to the innkeeper then turning back to Gimak "So ya were part of a group adventurers, merchants, or just travelers? Might I be ok ta ask where the others of yer group went off ta?" the dwarf's native accent coming out a bit stronger being around another dwarf.

Elvarian selects 4 silver and hands it over, "Thanks" he says. Do we want to split a room? He asks of Eringard.

Eringard blushes. "I should first check if the temple is in good enough repair to sleep there" she says quickly.

"Ale's good, thanks," Gimak says. The innkeeper goes to retrieve the drinks. "We were adventurers. As for where the others are, I couldn't tell you. We went our separate ways. I don't think any are still here in Dagger Falls, though. I haven't run into any of them since we broke up, at least."

Eringard pays for her meal as well and asks the innkeeper for directions to the former temple of Lathander Morninglord.

Eringard chips in two silver, so Elvarian doesn't have to pay for the full amount. "The old temple?" asks the innkeeper. "If you go into town and turn right and keep going, you'll run into it. Or what's left of it."
"I was investigating Eagle's Eyrie. Ever heard of it?" Gimak asks. Not being local, Drezden has not, so Gimak elaborates. "Stories go that it was once a dwarven stronghold, but it was abandoned a few centuries back. That's what drew me here to begin with. I was hoping to delve inside and discover the lost secrets of our people."

Gribben takes seat with Elvarian. He orders a Mint Wine and some stew. He sits opposite of Elvarin so that he can watch the other side of the room. Maiden I shall take a room also. He will look for any of the other patrons that take a interest in Eringards conversation with the barmaid.

I'd be itchin ta learn more of our delzoun history."
