So I decided that since I was bored with Dungeon Keeper (still stuck in the same spot from before), I'd start up a new playthrough of Icewind Dale, instead. And since it requires me creating 6 PCs and there are that many in my Gontoria game, I would use them as templates. I had to change a few things--the core 2E rules that IWD runs on are not as permissive as my own house rules. But I did the best I could (Ryan and Lillian are half-elves now, for instance). It's probably an odd fit, as Gontoria is a game of diplomacy and intrigue, while Icewind Dale is straight up hack and slash for the most part. I did the same thing once before, with a party I was playing with in The Sinister Secret of Saltmarsh. It was much more difficult. The party composition was far less optimal (three single-class wizards and the only warrior was a ranger), and everyone in that party had been rolled up using 3d6. But if I could beat the game with that party, I'm sure I can beat it with the Gontoria party. I don't know if anyone would be interested in hearing the tales of the Gontoria party's adventures in the frozen north, but if nothing else, I thought replaying the game might give me some ideas for 'Lost Souls Crizzara.' Let me know how Katya does!

Yes, please keep us posted! I'd be interested to hear about the feats of derring-do that doppelganger-Theron and the others get up to on IWD.

Agreed! This makes me want to do something similar with Baldur's Gate!

I finally finished Dragon Ball Xenoverse. Well, by 'finish' I mean I've seen the endings (both of them) and pretty much did all I wanted to do. There is really nothing left but constant grinding for trophies, which I don't really care about. Now I've moved on to a new game, which I received for my birthday. Horizon Zero Dawn. Not very far into it yet, but I like it. Reminds me of Tomb Raider, mechanically.

Still working through Horizon Zero Dawn, but I'm looking forward to Pillars of Eternity II coming out in April. They recently released some info about the ship system that I'm particularly interested in, for inspiration for my Octhanian game if nothing else. Anyone here play the first one?

I finished Horizon Zero Dawn. Like, really finished it...100% completion. It was that great of a game. I wasn't surprised to find out the lead writer worked on New Vegas; it had some great world-building and has an incredible story about how compassion and empathy can save the world.

I went to the store today and picked up Uncharted Lost Legacy. Big fan of the Uncharted series. I have the first four, and Chloe was one of my favorite characters (I adore Claudia Black), so a game starring her was a must have. But as it turns out, the store was having a sale on videogames. Buy two, get one half off. So I also got: Life is Strange: Before the Storm. I really liked the original one, and hey, this one also stars someone called Chloe. I just realized that. Anyway, this one is a prequel so no time travel powers, but I suspect I'll love it nonetheless.

I've been re-getting into competitive Pokemon lately.
Don't laugh.

Which version? Sun and Moon?
I never got into the competitive stuff myself.

Ultra Moon, technically. I've also started a "Nuzlocke Challenge" of Platinum.

What a coincidence. I just started watching a Nuzlocke Let's Play of Platinum over at TeamFourStar. They just started about a week ago. They got Piplup as their starter. What did you get?

I'm looking forward to Monster Hunter coming to the PC this fall.
I've never played it before, but it looks like multi-player Dark Souls - which is what I wanted when I was actually playing Dark Souls, honestly

Why are you waiting for the PC release? You don't have consoles, or you just looking forward to mods? Or are you just like me, and just prefer PC overall?

I just prefer PC overall.
Snacs and I have all the most recent console generation except the switch, and most of the last three generations besides, because they help with his job. I don't really mess with them; I prefer my laptop and my Steam account.
I guess I could get into Monster Hunter on Playstation, but then I'd lose my character and whatever progression I had when I switched over to PC after that came out.
