Judy smiles. "Alright, all at once, what is your answer?"
Theron, Ladonna and Liala all say at once, "Gold!" However, Lillian instead says, "Amethyst!" which draws a couple of chuckles from the crowd.
"The correct answer is gold," Judy confirms. "Amethyst is what the core of the world was forged from, by Gonto herself. Sorry, Miss Lillian, but it looks like we have our first disqualification. You can join the audience now, if you like."
Looking to the other three, she says, "Okay, this one will be harder. Everyone knows we live in the village of Buho. But where does the name Buho come from?"

Katya stands comfortably out in the crowd during the trivia contest. It was no mistake that she was not participating; trivia was not her forte, and the prize didn't interest her in the slightest.
It was still good entertainment.

Theron has never attended a day in church in his life, and so has no idea on any matters regarding Gontorian myth. He blurts out, "The Eonian word for owl?"
Ladonna and Lilala, however, both know the correct answer. "Buho was the name of the divine steed ridden by the first paladin of Gonto, Baerin Carbuncle."
"I'm sorry, Mister Wiggledigit, but you can rejoin the audience now," Judy says. Turning to the two young women, she adds, "Now let's see who will be left standing. The third question is this: We all know that the Pyr is blue and Ruse is red, but according to astronomers, why are the moons these colors?"

Ladonna purses her lips together and says softly to herself. "I know that the moons represent order and chaos, but what about the colors themselves," she asks herself. She purses her lips together in thought as she looks up at the sky as if hoping that the sky would give her some clue. After a minute, she finally rings her bell.

Ladonna draws a few strange looks at her comment, as nobody has believed the moons represent order and chaos in centuries. Despite this, she and Liala come up with the correct answer. Because Pyr is covered in water, and Ruse is covered in a red dust.
"The next question," Judy continues, "is as follows. The Solan family runs Solanshire County, but what does their family crest look like?"

The contest goes on two more rounds after that, before eventually Ladonna gets one wrong and Liala is declared the winner and given the potion of genius.
"That went on much longer than I had thought," Judy said, having run out of pre-planned questions and having to wing the last few. "But everyone make sure to study hard and learn as much as you can for next year."
