Kalana doesn't panic when the people start crowding around her, but when one notices her swords she frowns as she can feel a wave of panic starting to overcome her. "I would talk with you more," Kalana says to the playwright. "But not in front of this crowd," she says as she tries to find a hole in the crowd so that she can escape.

Kalana Ioane (Amusement Park, House of Illusion)
Dangerously close to exposing herself to the crowd, Kalana can feel the looks of everyone in the tent on her. "If you can come by tomorrow then, I would be happy to interview you," the playwright says.
Aata puts a hand on Kalana's shoulder. "I think we should get out of here," he whispers, sensing the tension.

Kalana nods to Aata, and makes her way out of the tent with him. "I didn't realize the story was that compelling."

Kalana Ioane (Amusement Park) Kalana and Aata beat it out of there, quick as they can. Once they've put some distance between themselves and the tent, Aata notes, "It's getting late. You need to report back to your ship, right? I'll just let the others know you showed up when they get back, and we can meet up tomorrow instead."

Kalana nods to Aata. "Thanks for spending the day with me," she adds. "I'll see you all tomorrow, hopefully," she says before she rushes off to the ship to check in.

Evening has come, and the sun starts to set. Everyone realizes they need to get back to the ship, as the captain ordered.
Kalana returns after saying good-bye to Aata, still shaken from her experience at the amusement park.
Senllip wishes the merchant woman a good day and heads back to the ship.
Mathias either agrees to Heven's terms or waits for Setra to return. Either way, it's now too late to follow up on whatever information he acquires and it will have to wait for the morning.
Jaeron has spent the last few hours sitting alone in his cabin.
Arieal can't make up her mind on what she wants to buy, so bids the shopkeep farewell and heads back to the Tiaru.
Johannes spends the day in prayer at the temple before finally returning.
The captain and other bridge officers, as well as the rest of the crew, return except for young Enzo who was arrested for indecent exposure and locked up for the night in the local jail.
Everyone eats dinner in the mess hall and eventually gets some sleep.
The following morning, Julak calls the crew to the upper deck after breakfast and announces that they will be staying in Tu'Valie for today, at least, but once again they should report back in the evening to find out if they will stay longer than that or not. Then, he calls for Setra and Toven to remain with the ship, while everyone else is allowed another day of shoreleave.
It is now Bludsin 6th, Rockday, at 7 AM.

Jaeron gets up and dressed to go back in town for his breakfast stopping off first at the Temple to Gonto to see if the good caretaker would like to join him for breakfast.

Kalana heads back to the inn in which Aata is staying so she can meet up with her old friends.

Kalana Ioane (Queen of Harts) Kalana makes her way back to the Queen of Harts. As she hopes, she finds Aata and the others gathered around a table. With the exception of Aata, they all appear to be nursing pretty bad hangovers, from the look of them.
Jaeron Dernfog (Temple of Obedience) Jaeron heads out to the Temple of Obedience. Today is Rockday, Gonto's sabbath. So one would expect the temple to be filled with worshippers, and the elven kohen to be leading them in prayer. But once again, the pews are empty and the elf sits alone, in prayer. Jaeron can see that he has already begun work on renovating the place, but there's still much work to do before the temple is in a respectable condition again.

Kalana Ioane (Queen of Harts)It had been a year since Kalana had seen any of them, but they hadn't changed much from what she could tell. Wystan had a new slight scar on his left cheek, but rather than disfiguring, it made him look even more roguishly handsome. Somma and Riana, as elves, hadn't aged a day, of course. And as for Moray, Kalana couldn't help but notice his pinky finger was missing from his left hand now.
All of them stand when Kalana approaches, and welcome her with warm hugs, before inviting her to join them at the table. "So, I take it you're here to beg to rejoin us?" Wystan says cheekily.
Jaeron Dernfog (Temple of Obedience)Once the prayers are finished, the elf looks around, is started a bit when he notices Jaeron with him, then gets to his feet. "Oh, sorry, didn't hear you come in. And," he says, glancing around the room, "it looks like nobody else is coming, either."
After being asked about breakfast, he says, "I suppose I might as well. Nobody is going to show, it seems. Where did you want to go?"

"Oh, you guys would love that, but I am not the begging type," Kalana teases as she joins her old group. "I am actually pretty happy with the Blue Lightning,"she admits. "But I was hoping you guys would do a job for me. It just want you guys to deliver a large sum of money to my family."

"I don't know, sounds like easy money," adds Moray.
"Too easy, perhaps," says Somma. "What's the catch? And what's the pay?" she asks.
Jaeron Dernfog (Temple of Obedience)"I never eat out, personally," the elf kohen says. "Can't really afford it. But once while in the library, I did overhear people talking about a place called the Queen of Harts. Allegedly, it's the best place in the city. But I've never been there myself," he admits.
