Jaeron silently tries to get a bearing of the elf woman then smiles politely and extends a hand in greeting "Hello I am Jaeron and who might you be?" Ignoring Jaeron's outstreched hand, I am Natylie. Toven, I am looking forward to proving my worth to the captain of this ship. |

Kalana, Johannas, Jaeron and Natylie (Upper deck of the Tiaru)Toven does not even flinch at Kalana's actions, but rather just clears his throat and calmly removes her arm. "Without rules, we would descend into chaos. Even the Blue Lightning needs some manner of discipline."
To Natylie, he says, "Very good. Well, it doesn't look like any other applicants are going to show up, so I'll go fetch the captain now. Excuse me." He walks off, leaving Natylie with Kalana, Johannas and Jaeron.

Kalana blows a playful kiss as Toven departs. "Ah, this is Jaeron," she adds to Natylie. "And it seems like it might be some time before the captain arrives, so maybe you'll want a tour?" she asks.

Jaeron smiles kindly to Kalana after se introduces him to Natylie half bowing he says "Thank you Kalana. I guess a being of my height doesn't often get seen or heard." then the gnome makes his way off to his quarters he waves a sailors salute to Toven on his way.

"Certainly a tour to familiarize myself with where things are would be usefull. what position or title do you hold on this ship?" |

"Jaeron, you should join us for the tour!" Kalana calls out to the departing gnome. "Oh, I don't hold any title or position," she says to Natylie. "I'm just a regular crew member. So where would you like to start? I would suggest the mess first since that is probably the most important place if you care about food."

Although cards are not always that useful..." Senllip considers a bit. "I'm going by the name Senllip, which is conspicuously similar to this Senrik dude name. Does he give you trouble? Do you know anything about him? Maybe you have one of his cars?" Senllip asks.

It's fairly large, filled with enough tables and benches (all secured to the floor) that it could probably fit around fifty people at once, if they didn't mind being crammed in next to each other with little elbow room. Right now, however, the room is empty of people, aside from themselves as most of the crew are on shore leave. There is a window leading directly to the kitchen, where people can get their food. Senllip (Midnight Brawlers Base)"Luckily, he hasn't robbed us yet, so we haven't received a calling card," Athel says. "But he has made us look bad, because he sometimes operates in our territory without permission. He'll rob a place we have under protection, and once he robbed a place we were going to rob before we could. Nobody seems to know who he is or where he came from, or how he's always able to evade capture or even being seen. It feels like he's always one step ahead, and it's damned annoying. I suspect he's using some kind of magic, which makes him even more dangerous."

A little bit late Senllip says surprised, "How could you think it was I?? I'd never betray my friends. Occasionally I might forget to inform about my actions, but never I'd steal from my friends." Making sure his point sinks in he continues, "Well if he is always one step ahead, he might be someone from inside the guild... Hmm... now I see why you thought it could be me..." Senllip grins. "But I assure you it is not I. Where does the city guards stands in this investigation? And wouldn't you want to open your own investigation? What information do you have? Does he attack every day? Does he have preferences of places to rob, people to rob, time of action? I would like to meet him. Even if not to submit him to the guards, maybe to cooperate with him or maybe challenge him for sports."

Kalana nods in agreement with Jaeron. "You will meet him later," she says. "But the crew pretty much all take turns doing pretty much everything that the officers don't have time to do. Anyway, let's move on to the sleeping quarters," Kalana says as she leads the way to the bunks.

But some crew have their own private cabins, like the officers. The rooms aren't particularly fancy, but they have the necessities--a small bed, a place to put your clothes, a chamber pot, and so forth. Senllip (Midnight Brawlers Base)"The city guards are useless, as always," Athel says. "That used to be a good thing for us, but in this instance, it's not. As for meeting him, I'd like to meet him myself. Then stick a dagger in his throat." He chuckles to himself. "But I imagine that is why he stays so well hidden. How long do you plan to be in town? Maybe we can think up some kind of plan to smoke him out."
