Orianna, Gotrek, and Bareris (Stonehill Inn)"I was thinking along the same lines," Zoya says. "Not just the innkeeper, but all of the people here in the inn can help paint a better picture of what's going on in these parts."
As they talk, Bareris returns from his room and rejoins them. As it turns out, it doens't appear he's missed all that much.

Gotrek finishes his ale, food and puts the key in his pocket. "Aye, well no time like the present. I'll start asking around and see whats going on around here". So Gotrek will ask around the inn and bartender for any rumors.

I go up to the bartender and show our Group with the hand. Later i sweep with an invisible broom, chop some invisible wood, and pretend I ame receiving coins from someone.
I later show at myself and throw punches at an unexisting enemy, point at Oriana and pretend to shoot a bow, point at Gotrek, draw an axe in the aie pick it up and swing around. Then i point at Zoya and swing my sword at an invisible enemy (making sure that everybody is safe). I point at Fosco and shrug as I have no idea what he dose. I then grunt "work, fighting" in a questionlike maner
After a time enoth to mąkę it apparant its a difference question I show any Red objects and then a cloke and grunt on a quetionmarkable maner

Orianna finishes off her meal, and then rejoins Fosco at the bar. "So, I don't know if you are still interested or not, but it seems like it might be be a good idea to team up with those guys over there," she says, motioning to the table of people she was just with. They are looking for work too, after all."

Gotrek starts wandering around the bar, threatening the lives of everyone he meets, including their friends, family and pets, if they don't give him information. He learns a few things this way. "Sister Garaele, who oversees the Shrine of Luck, recently left town for a few days, then returned wounded and exhausted," Narth, a local farmer tells him. "Could be she needs some outsider help."
Lanar, a miner, tells him, "Orc raiders have been seen on the east end of Triboar Trail. The town master is looking for someone to run them off."
The poor barmaid that served them, Elsa, says, "Daran Edermath, the orchard keeper, is a former adventurer. Maybe he knows of a job?"
The innkeeper's son, Pip, says in tears, "Qelline Alderleaf's son Carp said he found a secret tunnel in the woods, but Redbrands almost caught him. That's all I know, I swear!"
"Okay, that's enough!" the innkeeper declares, stepping out from behind the bar. "It's bad enough to threaten my patrons and my staff, but my son is a step too far. He hands Gotrek back his 5 silver. "Here's your room deposit back. You are no longer welcome here. Now get out, before I call for the guards."
With that taken care of, the innkeeper turns his attention over to Bareris. However, he clearly has no idea what the monk is trying to tell him. "Sorry, friend...I don't follow. You trying to put on an act or something? Some kind of play?"
=============
Gotrek intimidates rumors out of the locals, DC 5 for each rumor, so a roll of 20 gets him four rumors. However, he is banned from the inn as a result.
Innkeeper rolls insight to try and understand Bareris. jQbr8n241d20

Seeing i am not understood i Ask the bartender normaly. I speak slowly if its hard for me.
"Do you knows of a job, related to fighting, we need to find some to keep that Dwarve in check. He seems to have a need for geting some Anger out ofhis system, other then that he is a decent guy. I bet he is deeply sorry for his actions. We also met a Group od strange people on Red cloacks. Can you please tell me somthing about them"
Ooc: i think either a charisma or persuasion check would do here. I need a roll in my mame i'm on my mobile today. Also i would say the DC would be higher by 5. The innkeeper Has seen me with Gotrek who intimidated patrons so he might be unfrindly, also Bareris is not used to talking

"I suppose..." Fosco replies, feeling slightly woozy after gulping down half of his drink.

"Oh, I see," the innkeeper says, now understanding Bareris better. "Well, your dwarf friend should learn some manners. Phandalin may be a frontier town, but we still have rules."
He adds, "Red cloaks? Ah, yeah, those guys. They're called the Redbrands. And they're nothing but trouble. Showed up about two months ago and took over the old Tresendar Manor and the Sleeping Giant tavern. They are little better than bandits, really. But the townmaster refuses to stand up to them. They hassle every business in town, except for the Phandalin Miner's Exchange. They don't want trouble with Halia Thorton, who runs it."
The woman working in the kitchen steps out, having overheard. "They're monsters, if you ask me. Thel Dendrar, a local woodcaver, stood up to the Redbrands a ten day ago when they came by his shop and leered at his wife. The ruffians murdered him. Several townsfolk saw it happen. The Redbrands grabbed his body, and now his wife, daughter, and son have gone missing too."

(OOC: Gotrek can attempt to apologize, if he passes a Persuasion check with disadvantage; that means roll twice and use the lower roll.)

"Bah, I didn't mean to make your wee one cry. It's been a long day. I can find a place out in the woods if need be" Gotrek says to the inn keep. "Can you at least point me toward the Miner's Exchange"

I call the group together with a gesture and I say
" I see a few options:
1. Sister Garael
2. Deal with the orc raiders 3. Go to the miners exchange
I would opt for option 3"
ooc: probably we should meet up with oriana and foscos Contact at the town hall but my character does not know this

"Camping in the wilderness is probably for the best," the innkeeper says, unimpressed with the dwarf's apology. "The Miner Exchange is southwest, past the Townmaster's Hall and the woodworker's shop."

"He is guy that we rescued from goblins. He had connections to the dwarf that hired us to deliver his cargo here," Orianna explains. "Which we still have to do. Actually, there is still a lot of things we need to do before we find another job. At least we know what is going on in town now though."

"I see," Zoya replies. "That being the case, then perhaps the three of us can scout about the town, gathering more intel. While you and your group," she says to Orianna, "complete your tasks."
