The fight rages on as a stalemate, more or less. Krah turns to aid Dallion, as that is the nearest next opponent. Malavar and Drezden continue to deal with the ogre. The priest is able to grab his spear while avoiding the ogre's massive fists. ============= InitiativeDallion: 1+5 = 6 Drezden: 1+5 = 6 Goblin Raider 04: 4+3 = 7 Goblin Raider 05: 4+3 = 7 Malavar: 5+3 = 8 Krah: 5+6 = 11 Jaxle: 7+7 = 14 Ogre: 10+6 = 16 Round 6!Dallion turns and slashes his long sword with elven grace (+1 hit) and intense training (+1 hit/dmg) with Tempus' blessing (+1 hit) at Goblin Raider 04 [TH 14] (1d20+2): 5+3 = 8, miss. Lord of Battles, if it's your will that I battle this foe without your blessings to guide my hand, so be it. I will rise to the challenge! Malavar thinks. Spear in hand once again, he lets Drezden take the lead against the ogre, hoping that this will create an opening for him to exploit.

Although Tempus' blessing has faded, perhaps the Foehammer smiles upon them regardless. Working in tandem, the dwarf and half-elf continue to engage with the hulking ogre before them. Darting in close, Drezden runs between the ogre's legs, using his broad sword to slice open a tendon as he passes through. Roaring in agony, the ogre drops to one knee. This brief moment of vulnerability is the opening Malavar was praying for; without hesitance, the priest shoves his spear, gripped tightly in both hands, straight at the ogre's heart. His aim is true, and the spear's heard pierces through the ogre's armor, his flesh, and his rib cage to skewer the heart. The ogre opens his mouth, and out comes a splatter of blood.
Malavar withdraws his spear, and without its support, the ogre collapses to the ground, bleeding out quickly.
The last goblin, facing off against both a raging Krah and a calm Dallion, takes a step back at witnessing the ogre's death. Realizing she is all alone, she drops her blade to the ground and holds up her hands in supplication. "Surrender, surrender!" she exclaims in Common.

Drezden searches for any of his bolts that might be reusable then sets to checking what is in the wagons/carts.

"DALLION, NO!" Malavar cries out as the elf slashes at the goblin. "Are you deaf man? She surrendered!"

Drezden manages to recover one of his bolts; the other was destroyed on impact. The ranger then goes about searching the wagons for anything of worth. He finds in total, three chests. None are locked. The first one contains some rabbit fur pelts. The second one contains scrimshaw. The third chest contains two vials of blue liquid, a silver ring, a coin purse (containing 10 SP and 5 GP) and a scroll with arcane writing on it. Meanwhile, while the battle has ended, Dallion and Krah do not seem to have noticed; or perhaps don't care. Dallion slashes the goblin across the chest, causing her to stagger back and fall over. With one hand covering her wound, she holds up the other one in a defensive gesture. "Wait, wait! I can help you! I know things! There's a group of orcs who have been murdering elves that passed by here. They went north--!"
She is cut off, both figuratively and literally, by Krah's axe. The frost man, still in a berserk fury, brings the weapon down on her head, ending her life in a single blow. Only then, when every single enemy is dead or long gone, does he start to slowly calm down and exit his rage.

Drezden returns to the others to inform of the findings to see the last goblin dead and actually smiles "Good slimy vermin I hate goblins. Oh by the way found a scroll one of you spell casting types might want to give it a look, found some other basic stuff, two vials with strange blue liquid inside, some coin and a ring."

"To kill a foe that surrendered is murder, Drezden, even if that foe is an untrustworthy goblin. When we slaughter those who have laid down their weapons, we invite the same retribution in return and war becomes a corrupt, hateful thing where only the worst will triumph - everything that the Lord of Battles abhors. If the three of you will not restrain your hatred in my presence, then I cannot in good conscience call on the power of Tempus to aid you in the future," Malavar says sternly, his normally good humour gone.

Dallion looks at the cleric and shakes his head before speaking in a hard cold voice. "You want to show mercy to a animal that if the tables were turn would raid your village murdering everyone in it? If we were to surrender do you think they would have stopped? No they would not. You want to preach about murder, I can promise you this that this group has most likely killed dozens of peasents and travelers and you want to show mercy? we have gave them their punishment for their crimes against the people of this region..."

"This goblin was undoubtedly a bandit and a murderer, that much we can surmise from the bodies we found. She could have taken her chances and fled, but she didn't. She surrendered, and in so doing placed her life in our hands. From that moment, she was no longer a threat to anyone and to kill her out of hand is an affront to the Lord of Battles. It does not matter that we may later have executed her for banditry, but it matters when we do not respect a surrender. I will say no more on this matter, but if you seek the blessings of Tempus in the future, I will ask that you keep my words in mind."

Krah drops down into a sitting position on the cold ground, exhausted. He takes a few moments to catch his breath, listening and watching the argument before him play out with puzzlement. "I do not understand. It is better to die in battle than surrender your freedom to another, yes?"
