"Arrogant bastard," Kalana says down to the dead form of Deyren. She strips him of her armor and her sabres, and then hands Senillp back his sabre. "All right, we need to get this ship turned around," she says. "We are probably going to need to resupply somewhere, so we need to find the closest, friendly island." She knows that Shadowshore isn't too far from here, but she would prefer not to go there anyway.

Jaeron "Well at least that little bit of business is ended. We might consider removing the slaver flag so we don't end up being mistaken for the scum that once ran this ship." the gnome says trying to think ahead. The gnome cleric goes to the flag and lowers it then removes it. "Anyone locate the rest of our gear? Also anyone good at making a flag?"

"We could take inventory of what supplies the ship has left," Bayla suggests. "Then we could calculate exactly how far we can get before we run out."

Kalana nods to both Jaeron and Bayla. "We can worry about a flag later, just as long as the slaver flag is taken down," she says. "But I'll go with Bayla to take stock of our inventory, and the rest of you can take care of the bodies, and give me some ideas as to where we can go."

Jaeron tosses the slaver flag into the drink nods and heads off to help Bayla inventory things.

Senllip goes to collect his dagger and quickly stands by Kalana with anticipation. "It was quiet easy to overcome Deyren with my sabre, right?" after retrieving and searching the bodies it he asks, "Well, we have a ship. Where are we heading? Bayla, where are you from? Where did you plan to arrive before meeting the slavers?"

After everyone retrieves their own gear, they do a quick inventory of remaining supplies. Deyren had said they were low, but that was back when he had a full crew. Now there are only five of them, so hopefully those supplies will last longer. Altogether, they find there are 60 pounds of food and 150 pints of water left.
The party (three man-sized people and two small-sized) consume 8 pounds of food a day, so it will last them about 7 days. Likewise, the party consumes 30 pints of water a day. That will last about 5 days. So wherever they choose to go, with their current supplies, they will last about a week before they have to start going without.
"Originally, northern Hashadeth," Bayla answers. "That was where I hatched, I mean, and mostly where I grew up. Anyway, the ship I was on was an exploratory vessel, and it was heading westward to search for uncharted islands. They could be just about anywhere by now."

Jaeron "Shall we try to see if we can make it to Octhanus from here with the supplies at hand?"

"Based on water, it seems we have enough to last about five days," Kalana says thoughtfully before taking a swig from her flask. "What island can we get to in five days?" she asks.

“I believe we can reach the Eastern Octhanus in that time,” Johannes answers.

Nodding his agreement with actually everyone, Senllip goes to check the captains room. He looks for chests and for the captains' log.

"It might be possible to supplement our food stores with fishing," Bayla says. "I do know a little something of fishing, and we do have a fishing net aboard. Water is another story, though. Unless we're lucky and it rains or something." She adds, "I've never been to Octhanus Island before. Do they have any ports on the eastern side? What's it like there?"
While this is going on, Senllip slips back into the captain's quarters and looks around. The only chest was the one carrying the party's gear, which now sits empty. There is a captain's log, however, it does not appear to have been written by the captain himself, but rather the cleric, Talinda. And it's less of a log, and more of a record of slave captures and sales, how much money they still owe the Bloody Chains, and a list of ports where it is safe to sell slaves.

"From the little that I know of the island, there aren't any ports," Kalana says. "At all, and they aren't going to really want to help us when it comes to restocking. We might be better off trying out Bayla's idea of fishing as we make our way south."

Senllip returns with the log. "Maybe we can find ports here in the log... and also if we ever meet the Blue Thunder again they may be interested in all the slavers loving locations." he then finds a spot they can set the log and look at it together.
