The Tayling pauses, watching the battlefield carefully. He is interrupted, however, when one of Teakettle's sling stones smacks him in the arm. Surprisingly, the taylang flinches alongside him, as if he, too, had been struck. Ravarie taps Dorias on the back, healing him a bit. The taylang continues his assault on the cavalier, striking him once with a claw, but accidentally biting down on his shield, chipping a tooth. Dorias counters with his blade, bloodying the creature. Again, the tayling stumbles as well at the blow. The bozak pulls out his bow and fires twice at Teakettle. The first shot misses, but the second hits her armor so hard it nearly knocks her over. Meanwhile, Grognak, manages to club the baaz hard enough to draw blood. Forgoing all attempts at non-lethal damage, the ranger goes into a rage and now cares about nothing else but killing his opponent. Finally, Runt stops coughing and choking, the last of the green gas expelled from his lungs. ================= InitiativeTayling: 4-1 = 3 Baaz: 2+1 = 3 Runt: 4 Ravarie: 1+5 = 6 Teakettle: 6+2 = 8 Bozak: 2+8 = 10 Taylang: 5-1+6 = 10 Grognak: 6+6 = 12 Dorias: 10+5 = 15 Round 4!Tayling does nothing. "Did that sting a little? Looks like Teakettle has set her sights on your friend, worthy foe, and perhaps he'll soon have a face full of draconian to deal with as well. I'd hate to be in his shoes when that happens!"
Wrenching his shield free of the taylang's jaws, Dorias steps back and begins circling his foe, launching a series of quick strikes to try and break through his defences.
Actions Apply Gallant bonus to AC for the round (+2 AC).

OOC: I'm just a little concerned at how much damage the taylang seems able to soak. I mean, Dorias is giving a good account of himself, but with three attacks to his one, the odds seem to be on the taylang's side to win a battle of attrition... 1d20+2·1d12+3

The Baaz swings the flat of his blade at Grognak, but the ranger bats it away with his club, then stabs his spear deep into the draconian's shoulder. The crowd goes nuts, but the Baaz balks. "Stupid goblin, this is supposed to be a non-lethal battle! What are you doing?" he demands. But Grognak has been completely overtaken by his bestial instincts, and can only see red now.
The half-elf looking fellow starts chanting again, then points toward Dorias and Ravarie. The druid manages to shake off whatever the spell is and continue praying to her deity, but Dorias suddenly feels an overwhelming desire to scratch all over his body. He gets hit by both of the large humanoid's fists, leaving him on his last legs. But he's able to retaliate with the flat of his blade, leaving the creature in a similar condition. In all likelihood, whoever scores the next blow will be the winner of this duel. Teakettle retaliates by slinging another stone at the half-elf, smacking him right in the shoulder.
Runt, now able to act again, moves right toward the Bozak, pausing to nock an arrow and fire. The arrow flies wide, but the bozak fires off two more of his own, each giving Runt a minor scratch.
Ravarie conjures up a creature of pure air at the very edge of her ability to maintain it, which is not close enough to hassle the bozak. She'll need to move closer herself to do so. Shortly after, the stinking cloud vanishes, clearing the air once again.

Dorias feels a ferocious itching begin to overwhelm him. "Well, beast, it seems our fight is not to end honourably after all," he grunts in annoyance and begins retreating from the taylang.
"Teakettle! This one's on its last legs! Take him out for me, will you?" he calls to the kender. "Runt! Stop mucking about. Smash that half-elf now!"
Actions Withdraw 40 feet northwest to put himself somewhere between Grognak and Teakettle. Gallant bonus is still going to AC.
Since he's not using his sword this round, that puts his initiative at a flat 10, the same as the taylang if it decides to attack.

The baaz slashes at Grognak, still using the flat of his blade despite the ranger not paying the same favor. Grognak retaliates by stabbing the baaz in the heart with his spear. He quickly pulls the spear back out just before the draconian turns completely into stone. The audience goes nuts at this; half demanding the half-goblin be put down and the other half demanding more blood. Indeed, the arches up on the watchtowers all draw beads on Grognak, just in case the order is given, but so far no such order comes down. Grognak, for his own part, comes out of his rage barely aware of what just happened. "Gloves are off then!" the Bozak yells. "New rule, gentlemen. Win or lose, this match doesn't end until the goblin is dead. Blood for blood!" He then starts casting and vanishes from sight completely. The half-elf gawks at the bozak's disappearance, realizing that the oversized Runt is now coming at him. "Crap." He starts casting a spell and directs it toward the oncoming baaz, but it fails to work. "Crap!" the half-elf says with more venom. Ravarie comes up behind Dorias and heals him again, while directing her dust devil to come to the cavalier's aid. It smacks the large bestial creature in the back. Teakettle then comes down to help, too, finishing the creature off by smacking it in the snout so hard with her hoopak that it collapses. She then cheers and jumps up and down as the audience boos her. Dorias, at this point itching like crazy now, backs up to a safe distance. Despite Ravarie's healing, he's still in pretty bad condition. "What do you think I'm doing, mammal?!" Runt calls over his shoulder at Dorias. He moves closer still to the half-elf, and puts an arrow into his leg. For a moment there, he almost felt weightless, but his draconic blood negates whatever spell was cast on him. ================= InitiativeBaaz: 2+1 = 3 Bozak: 2+2 = 4 Tayling: 4-1+2 = 5 Ravarie: 1+5 = 6 Teakettle: 6+2 = 8 Taylang: 5-1+6 = 10 Dorias: 10 Runt: 4+7 = 11 Grognak: 6+6 = 12 Round 6!Baaz slashes his long sword at Grognak who is enraged (-2 hit) [TH 12] (1d20-2): 17-2 = 15, hit for (1d8): 8 non-lethal damage. "The damage is all ready done. We have a problem, so we might want to all spread out a little," Ravarie says as she looks around for the Bozak.
