Imrich nods at Senllip and makes his way up the gangplank. "The name's Imrich, though some like to call me Imrich the White for... obvious reasons really," he introduces himself with a slight smile.
"I'm looking to get off this island and I'm willing to work for my passage, so I won't be needing any pay. I did my time in the Coral Fleet years ago - I can sail, I can fight, and I don't mind hard work. But I suppose I should be asking you something as well. Where would you be headed next?"

Kalana (Enott Orphanage)Following the directions, Kalana comes upon a run-down, two-story building. A gaggle of children loiter about out front. Some are quite young, barely more than toddlers while others are old enough to be considered young teenagers. They all look like street urchins, with torn clothing, scraped knees and elbows and are covered in filth. A mob of them approach Kalana, surrounding her and pestering her with questions.
"Do you have a copper?"
"Where are you from? Are you a pirate?"
"Please, I haven't eaten in days!"

Kalana looks to Bayla for a moment as the children surround her, but she keeps her hands close to her side. Not that she has anything for them to pocket for themselves, such as coin or anything, but her sabre's are nice looking and well made, and she isn't about to lose them again. "I'm sorry children, but I don't have anything that I can give you. I'm not a pirate though," she adds. "I am looking for the orphanage mother?" she asks. "Or whoever is in charge here."

Jaeron thinks for a moment "Well uh that is a fairly good question. I can't say for certain until the captain returns but I believe we're headed in a southerly direction."

"We didn't officially assigned Kalana the captain. Although I don't mind she will be as long as I'm in charge of the wheel. And have a say about our course. Not that I have anything to say now." Senllip babbles as reaction to Jaeron words. "So Imrich. It's good that you don't need a pay. We are looking for jobs ourselves and I assume the kind of job we may find might have to do with our next stop. Or not. After we gather some supply and recruit some sailors to operate the ship we might go to meet 'The Son of Crizza'! Have you heard of him? The son of course. Not Crizza.... How did you get here if you are with the Coral Fleet? What is your next goal?"
=========================================== (OOC: Who are the Coral Fleet? Slavers? Labors? neutral? About the key on Deyren, I was wondering if he had something to access the warehouse.)

"That's a whole lot of words in one go there, friend. Not sure I fully catch your drift, but I'll try and answer your questions as best as I can," Imrich answers Senllip with a quizzical look.
"As it happens, the 'Son of Crizza' is a name I've come across before. From what I hear though, he's not someone you want to go looking for, so what's your interest in him? I'm told the Blackmoon sails for the Bloody Chains, but putting a collar on him seems a tall order even for a tough crew like yourselves, if you catch my drift..." "As for my relationship with the Coral Fleet, that was years ago, as I said before. I'm my own man now and go where I feel like or where the money is. That's how I ended up here. I was chasing a bounty and now that I've collected I'm looking to move on. No offence if you've got friends or family here, but Draska isn't my kind of place," he says with an apologetic shrug to the three men. "Now, if you'd like to humour me, I have some more questions. Starting with the obvious one - do you folks have names of your own? I gather the woman that left the ship is called... Kalana, was it? And forgive my confusion, but she fits the description I got of the Blackmoon's captain - a tough human who fights with two sabres. But she's not the captain?"
OOC: The Coral Fleet are the navy of Immerfort. More info in this post.

Kalana (Enott Orphanage)Upon realizing that she didn't have any coin, the children just disperse suddenly and wordlessly. Left to her own devices, Kalana enters the orphanage to find someone in charge. She finds herself in some kind of reception area. The place is quite a dump. There are more children here, but they tend to keep a distance from her. Not all are human, either. There are dwarves, halflings, orcs and even an elf or ogre here or there. They watch her fearfully, but with interest.
Asking one of the kids for details, she points Kalana to the back room, which seems to be set up for some kind of training. There are dummies set up here. Some are used for fighting, but others have pouches and bells on them, to train for pickpocketing. Young teenagers are training on both of them. In the center of the room is a man, the only adult present. He has long brown hair (with a streak of grey) pulled back into a ponytail. He is walking around the room, instructing the various teens. Despite the fact that many of them are engaging in completely different activities, he seems to multi-task quite well, moving from teen to teen, giving pointers and observing their progress before moving on.
He walks by a halfling lad who is deftly removing belt pouches from one of the dummies covered in bells. "Good job, keep at it," he tells him. He then approaches two young women, both human, who have applied thick makeup and are wearing scant clothing. He grabs one by the chin and and brings her face closer to his, inspecting it. He holds her there a moment, then releases her. She rubs at her chin while he orders the second one to turn around so he can see her backside. Then he nods to both of them. "Head up to my chambers. Your next lesson will start there."
Finally, he comes across two young men, both human, wrestling with each other. "Don't hold back now," he tells them. "Remember, mercy is a sign of weakness. You'll never survive out there if you hesitate, even for a second." It's only then that he notices the arrival of Kalana. "Keep at it," he tells the lads, then approaches her. "Well, well, well...what have we here? Prospective buyer? Ah, excuse me, I meant adopter, of course. Say, have we met before? No? Odd, I had the strangest feeling just now that we used to know each other. In another life, perhaps?"
Senllip, Jaeron, Johannas and Imrich (Aboard the Blackmoon)(OOC: No, Deyren and crew were pretty broke, and in fact, quite in debt. So they wouldn't have had anything of value to store in the warehouse. As for the Coral Fleet, they are self-proclaimed peacekeepers of the seas, dedicated to spreading law and order to the islands. Unlike the Blue Lightning, who are willing to break the law to get things done, the Coral Fleet are far more rigid and by the book.)

Kalana keeps her expression neutral as she takes in how the man in charge handles the teens within the room. ~Renos followers,~ she thinks with disgust. "I'm sure I would remember you if we had met before," she says with a hint of flirtation. Due to her past, she learned a long time ago that a tiny bit of flirting went a long way, but she was kind of hoping not to walk down that path again, yet here she was. "We aren't future...adopters either, but we are here seeking work. I was told the orphanage had work for those willing," she explains. She takes out her flask, and takes a small sip from her, because Octhanus knows she needs it right now. Whatever job this man might have was most likely going to be a complete nightmare.

"Ah, I see. This fellow Deyren was the captain? And the ship is now under..."new management". Is that about right?"
Mutineers, then? That would explain the lack of crew. The rest were probably killed or marooned, but if this lot are here looking for paying work, then there probably wasn't much loot to distribute when they took the ship. I wonder what made them rise against their captain? Best be on my guard around them in any case - can't trust a mutineer, Imrich muses to himself.

Kalana (Enott Orphanage) Raven chuckles. "I'm sure you and I could have a lot of fun together, if your price is good. But judging from the blades on your belt, that's not what you had in mind. You aren't from around here, are you? I could use someone from outside of town for a small job. Tell me, do you have any qualms about law breaking? One of my kids was arrested recently for pilfering pockets in the market. I am...concerned...that he might, shall we say, talk more than he should while in custody. He is privy to some personal information about me that could, uh, be misinterpreted by law enforcement without the proper context. I need you to make sure the lad doesn't talk. Break him out, cut out his tongue, kill him if that's the only way. Whichever is easiest for you, although I will pay a bit extra if you can bring him back alive."
Senllip, Jaeron, Johannas and Imrich (Aboard the Blackmoon) As the four are speaking, a human woman with dark hair, dressed in light robes, approaches the gangplank. "Ho, there!" she calls to them. "Where's Deyren? He has some nerve docking here and not immediately reporting to headquarters."

“Well, you don’t have to worry about that anymore,” Johannes explains. “Deyren picked the wrong people to try and enslave, and a complicated series of events had us end up with his ship. As for us, our possessions are on another ship, but we may be able to scrape something together to pay you off.”

"Law breaking isn't a problem," Kalana admits. She works for the Blue Lightning, so breaking the law isn't something that she cares about too much especially if breaking the law is for the greater good. "I wasn't aware that Draska had much of the way of law enforcement though. Where would he be held?"

/* OOC: I'm posting past events before the woman showed up */ "Enslaving the Son of Crizza?!?!? What a weird yet interesting thought. I'm Senllip by the way and here are Johannes and Jaeron. We don't plan to enslave anyone. In fact we used to fight enslavers, fell to the water taken by great storm, saved by enslavers and when we got into some philosophical argument with them, ended up owning their ship. Unfotunately they wouldn't surrender. We suggested it several times! I just heard about the wonders of the Son of Crizza and wanted to witness it for myself." When the woman approaches and Senllip hears Johannes response a great sense of alarm erupts him. 'Just got here and made the bloody chain HQ our enemies.' he thinks and whispers so only the people on board will hear him, "If she informs back their HQ they will send an army at us." he then speaks again to the woman, "What my friend here means is that we had an argument with Deyren and he is... elsewhere, and we got the ship as, hmm, compensation for his behavior. We don't see ourselves responsible for his actions but as a good will for the short time we spend with him, we shall hear about his business with you, whom is a representative of the Bloddy Chain office I presume? and may find some reasonable arrangement that we all can benefit from." 'As far as it don't go against our consciousness' he whispers again to his friends.
