Ladonna lets out a sigh, and finds a place to rest while keeping an eye on the place the werewolf is.

The night passes slowly. Liala brings some elf-bread and water at one point in the night. Eventually, morning arrives and the howling, thrashing and thumping from within the cabin stops.

Ladonna didn't sleep very well at all the night before as she watched the small cabin and formulated her plan on how to lie to the count. Though, she did managed to get some sleep in, at least enough so that she can study her spells for the day. Though, now that things have clearly died down inside the cabin, she walks over to the door and removes the bar. "Sidhanar?" she asks cautiously.
OOC: The spells I mentioned earlier will be the spells she takes for the day.

Ladonna can hear the audible clicks and thunks as the locks are, one by one, unlatched. Then the door swings open and Sidhanar steps out unsteadily, his cloak's thick cowl up to hide his features. "We should...make haste," he says. "There is a lot of land to cover before darkness falls again to get back to the road."

"How often does this happen?" Ladonna asks as she steps back from the elf.

"Once more tonight, then not again for another month," Sidhanar answers. "All the more reason to leave as soon as we can."

"What are you going to do when we camp for the night?" Ladonna asks as she makes her way towards the elven camp.

"There's another cabin on the way," Sidhanar answers. "I have built several throughout the forest, just in case I am away from home. But we will need to make haste if we are to reach it on time."

They return to the camp to regroup with the others. In gratitude, the Ruarans offer them enough food and water to make it back to Hart, as both Ladonna and Lillian are out of both.

After three days of travel through the forest, the party returns to Sidhanar's cabin--his original one--where they drop him off. He tells them he will collaborate whatever story they decide to tell the count, but again warns them of the dangers of lying to him.
Two days after that, they return to Hart. As soon as they arrive, they are escorted up to the Hall of Justice. Much like when they first left, the count sits at his throne while his advisory court stand in a semi-circle around him, all facing the dirty and tired party.
As soon as they enter the room, the count arches a brow. "I sent you to arrest poachers. You return over a week later empty-handed? Where are the poachers?"
=============
It is now Saffir 6th.
(OOC: Everyone regains 5 HP. Spellcasters can pick new spells for the day.)
Lillian is now moderately wounded. Ingot is now fully healed. Jonas is now seriously wounded.

"We tried to arrest them," Ladonna says. "But they resisted, so we had no choice. They are dead, your Lordship," she says.

Count Solan's blue eyes flash with anger, although his expression otherwise remains the same. He slowly stands up and with a calm voice that holds an undercurrent of cold fury, he states, "You are lying."
There's a series of gasps in the court and multiple people whisper and murmur to each other. The two guards at the entrance to the room move forward, flanking Ladonna, their hands on their sword hilts.
"I do not tolerate deception, least of all in this court, Ser Marche," the count says. "Speak truly. Where are the poachers I sent you to arrest?"

Despite cursing herself in her head, Ladonna appears rather calm. "Is it possible to speak to you in private, your Lordship?"
