As far as I know, there aren't anymore allies to get, so Tu'valie is the only place left to go. Alright, once we finish up with Greywolf, we'll move on to the next scene. Sounds good Daos, I'm fine with two double-barreled pistols then. Okay, that'll be 3,500 GP total. All of his powder and bullets (including magical ones) will work with them. I'll add them to his inventory. If you wish to make one of them Brax's 'favored' pistol, let me know and roll a 1d4 to see how many weeks of training with it it will take to transfer over.

Only a week. Not bad. Might even have that ready by the time they reach Tu'Valie then.

Alright, if there's nothing else, I'll probably move the scene forward tomorrow.

alright well I'm just thinking there should be more than two ways onto the island to get this town/city but no map can't really see what is the best route to bypass the harbor.

HorizonsDream can elaborate once she logs in, but Shadowshore is a small island that's mostly mountainous, which is why crossing it on foot takes so long, even though it's only around 15 miles long. The only flat part is by the southern shore, which is where the town is. It's why the Gunn occupation is probably not paying any attention to the other sides, only protecting the harbor, because they figure nobody is going to try and come at them from foot through the mountains.

Alright, so there is no in between location then? Like a place that is not really going to require us to climb the mountains but is far enough away that we won't need to get to the harbor?

Not that Brax is aware of, no. The island is mostly mountains and seaside cliffs. The only flat land is where the town is found, on the southern shore.

Bayla can fly, so it is still an option I assume...

I don't really know what you are planning with Bayla. The plan that is being discussed right now is to set fire to the docks so that the ships docked won't have a way to set sail while our ships attack the ships protecting the harbor.Brax and Senllip would be in charge of that while Kalana uses her identity to cause a distraction so that they can set fire to the docks.

Bayla can fly, yes. But I'm not sure how that is relevant. Unless you mean to send her in alone? If you're thinking she can carry Brax, she cannot. Her STR is 12, meaning her max press is 140 lbs, and Brax weighs 155 lbs, so even if they both stripped entirely of all gear (weapons, armor, supplies, packs, everything) she still couldn't pick him up, never mind fly with him. Aarakocra are fairly weak, and their bones are hollow, so they can't carry much at all when flying. It's why they tend to eschew armor and only carry minimal weaponry.
Also, Bayla can cast Invisibility (you can see her spell list on the Character Stats thread) but only once a day.

Yes. I thought she could carry Brax. And yes, I thought she can cast invisibility but to cloak both I asked if the other crews has other magic users.
I am aware of the plan and agree with the general idea as I said in game, just not with the mountain climbing trek, that's why I'm trying together with you to find other alternatives.
There are two significant problems with the setting fire plan (even that I think it is the best that we have right now): 1. coordinate with the attacking ships. 2. Fire may take time to catch. To solve the second, we may use oil and aim for the sails which may catch fire faster. To solve the first, well I assume seeing the fire on shore will be indication to sail fast and attack.
Again, if we have more MU, combining their powers for example creating larger fog volume, or making more people invisible, may help.
Now, if Brax and Senllip are going to set fire, we need someone else to man their ships. You don't want to lose these new cannons and ballistae fire power.
If Senllip turns to manta ray, can he drag Brax underwater? Can they tinker "bubble" or anything to capture air long enough to get to shore from distance that the ships won't be detected by Tethys army? Are there other experienced thieves in any of the crews?
