Imrich still has his alter self spell-like ability. I was thinking that he could assume the shape of an aaracockra and then either fly over the flames and help Kalana attack the remaining crossbowmen or airlift her out of there. He could also pick up Jaeron and Senllip and bring them along if it's possible to drop them into an occupied square to attack Crimson Wolf 15 for instance (assuming of course that Senllip doesn't actually try to run through the raging fire!)

According to the spell description, his flight speed will be 1/3 normal (so 12) and his maneuverability will be two classes lower (so Class E). According to the MM, "Class E includes large, clumsy fliers; these cannot move less than half their movement rate without falling, can turn only 30 degrees in a round, and they can make one pass every six rounds." So keep that all in mind.

Can Senllip at least find position between the fire and Kalana and use the staff sling?

Oh, yes. In fact, his current position on the map would allow him to do that. The ceiling is high enough for him to toss stones overhead.

Sorry everyone, no time to post today. I'll get something up tomorrow. What to do though? Save Kalana and get the heck out of here, or keep pushing to finish the fight? Decisions, decisions..

OOC: I'm not clear on the actual actions of Crimson Wolf 15. Does he retreat through the door or is he coughing so much that he can't move? Also, how come Kalana gets burned but not him? Sorry, I was going to have him retreat, changed my mind, and forgot to remove that line from the post. Post has been edited. Kalana was standing in the fire at the beginning of the round, the crossbowman was not.

It's ok I am at a loss as to what to have Jaeron do anymore, he has firearms and one that doubles as a big bludgeoning weapon, other than that due to me botching spell selection have very little to offer magically in aid.

Just a quick question for Bishgada and HorizonsDream . I've been wondering why exactly your characters are so hell bent on pushing deeper into the slaver den? They're both heavily wounded (as is Imrich) and one or two crossbow bolts will put them in the negatives. Is self-preservation not their thing?

Since no one knows Kalana's backstory, I will just say that pushing deeper into the slavers den fits with Kalana's character.

Jaeron would want to end the rein for the slavers but he would also honor the wishes of the local authorities, and thing rationally about staying back and healing up before pushing further in but he also hates to leave a comrade behind.

Before proceeding, I just wanted to make sure on whether anyone grabbed the unconscious slavers or just left them there. Kalana said to grab them, but as far as I can tell, she did not, nor did anyone else. And now the party is trying to bar the door, thus locking them in with the fire, right?

If no one did, Kalana would have brought them to safety herself.

Yeah, I also assumed we had drugged them in. I think that's what Senllip shouted at some point... He shouts so much it is difficult to keep track

Well, Imrich didn't originally intend to go straight into the room after kicking in the door. I meant that he would flatten himself against the wall in the hallway, but since he ended up inside immediately he was hardly in a position to drag anyone inside. Then Senllip closed and barred the door...
Imrich doesn't care what happens to the slavers one way or another, though. If the other PCs dragged them inside, that's fine. If they didn't they can burn in the fire they set themselves. In Imrich's opinion it's no less than they deserve.
