"You are only changing your appearance to be human though, right?" Ladonna asks. "If you were to have children with a human, wouldn't they be half elf?" she asks. "And I really haven't had the time recently to meet anyone new," she explains. "Lady Helen has been keeping us busy."

"I'm not sure, to be honest," Liala admits. "If I can make myself human, truly human, maybe..."
She shakes her head. "But regardless, I don't have time to wait anymore for that sort of power. I need to find a human to marry, and fast. Surely you've met someone by now? What about that mage you train with? Sorn?"

"I can introduce you to him," Ladonna says. "But why are you in such a hurry?"

"Because..," she sighs and pauses, before shaking her head. "In the letter I got from my parents, they said they were going to start looking for a husband for me. An elven husband. I don't want to marry an elf. I need to find a human husband before then. It's my only hope. So you've got to help me, Ladonna. Surely there is someone in this city that will marry me."

"Well, if you aren't busy, we can go meet him right now," Ladonna says.

"That's great," she says, getting to her feet quickly. "Lead the way!"

Ladonna isn't even sure where to find Norris, but assumes that he can probably be found studying. The library was most likely the best place for that, so she decides to search for him there. "His name, by the way, is Norris Sern," she says. "And I'm warning you now that he is most likely going to scan your surface thoughts the very moment I introduce you."

"I remember," Liala says. The two depart the guesting house and make their way toward the manor. Once inside, Liala sticks very close to Ladonna, as if afraid of getting lost. The pair make their way upstairs to the library, and find it largely empty. There are, however, two people here. One is the old man she saw here before. He is sitting quietly with a book in his lap, but on very close inspection, has actually dozed off and is snoozing lightly. The second is Norris, who is wandering the aisles with ambivalence, occasionally pulling a book from a shelf, flipping through it, then putting it back before moving on to another one.

"I think you might actually live in here," Ladonna says cheerfully yet quietly as to not to wake the old man as she approaches Norris. "I have someone here I wish for you to meet. Liala, this is Norris Sern. Norris, this is my friend Liala Lavellan."

"Hi, it's nice--!" Liala begins, offering her hand.
But Norris interrupts her immediately. "Oh, it's you," he says to Ladonna. Liala, embarrassed, slowly lowers her hand. Norris continues, "I heard about what you did; what you tried to do. Lying right to the count's face? I suppose nobody told you that was a bad idea." He chuckles. "I have thought you had been locked up in the dungeon this whole time. Still, nice of you to prove me right about our last conversation--everyone lies, all the time."

Ladonna let's out a sigh. She hadn't really made an appearance to anyone that she had met after what happened with the Count. "Okay, well I'm not here to talk about me," she says. She once again motions to her friend, and tries to introduce the two of them again.

"I--," Liala begins, but is interrupted again when Norris slams the book he is holding shut and shoves it back on the shelf.
"And why not?" Norris asks. "You always seemed the type to always talk about yourself. Did you see any interesting monsters in the Sunwood? I've heard tales of wyverns, ankhegs and even trolls in those woods. See anything like that while you were there?"

"Giant skunks and an Ent," Ladonna says in exasperation. "Is there anything else you want to know?" She asks.

"Uh--," Liala begins.
"Ent? Do you mean a treant? Fascinating," Norris comments, pulling out another book and flipping through it absently. "And giant skunks, you say? What tactics did you employ to avoid their noxious spray?"

Ladonna looks to Liala apologetically. "You are probably going to have to just jump in at this point," she says to her before turning back to Norris. "We were focused on keeping alive, so we were sprayed unfortunately. Though, with the help of our magic and a nearby body of water, we managed to clean up."
