Could you look up the Camouflage Cloak please. I have the last three books of Encyclopedia magica, seem to have misplaced that first volume.

Sure...the leather grants your character the suppleness as if you are not wearing armor - granting thieving bonuses as if not wearing armor.  You were gifted it by saving a Halfling community from the forces of Iuz.

Camouflage suit is set to a certain terrain and allows you to use NWP Camouflage at WIS +1 (without needing to take time to set up).

Cloak of Chameleon comes in 4 types...all change so that it matches background of natural terrains to give NWP Camouflage with the following WIS skills:
15=3750gp; 16=4000gp; 17=4250gp; and 18=4500gp

If you are asking about elven cloak, that is 6000gp

Sounds good.  If you are sticking to the 6K gold...you could pick up the +1 Exceptionally crafted Halfling Leather and the 15 WIS Cloak of the Chameleon and have 150 gp in savings.

I learned something from reading the thread about demi-human masterwork armors.  Thanks!

Almost done with crunch of my character... I sacrificed stats to go long on multi-class wizard/cleric.  After getting okay from Margrave and his ruling on the item's benefits, I only picked up one item, but it helps.  To do so, Margrave asked me to be the Prophet kit.  If you guys think it interferes too much, let me know.  

Dra'ziw will be a middle-aged 5/6 mage/cleric of Wee Jas.  Lots of spells, but very squishy.

Well, I'll go ahead and post what I have so far.

Like with Hommlet and Waterdeep, I'm bringing back an old character of mine, Marik Gemseeker, a human thief.  His basic pitch is he's a lowborn jeweler with poor health issues (weak constitution), who often goes treasure hunting in search of magic items that could possibly cure his condition.  He's basically looking for some legendary pancea.  In most games I've played him in, he's searching for the Amethyst Egg, a big piece of amethyst the size of a man's head that is said to have the power to cure any disease or sickness, but it's never clear if it's a real item or just a fable--he chases after the idea of it, regardless.

STR 6+5+1 = 12
DEX 6+5+5 = 16
CON 6+1 = 7
INT 6+2 = 8
WIS 6+6 = 12
CHA 6+6+1 = 13

3, 3, 3 ,3 = 12,000 GP

4+4+4+6+2 = 20,000 XP (level 6)

Ring of Invisibility is 7500, but I would rather that be a no no as a starting item
Leather +1 is 2000, but you could have been with the Justifier and saved the Halflings to get 2100 with the Masterwork item to act as wearing no armor.

Away from books, but ring of regeneration is out of price range as is cloak of displacement

Huh?  Why would masterwork armor be more expensive than magical armor?  And my character is human, so I don't think he could wear halfling armor.

The leather armor was made by Halflings for their Human saviors and was enchanted by a cleric of Avoreen; the Complete Fighters Guide discusses such bonuses for elven, gnomish and halfling armors.  Masterworked halfling armor would act as if the wearer was unarmed in the thieving/ranger skills.  Once Upon an Axe asked to purchase such, so I had come up with a short back story to justify him having human sized enchanted Halfling leather.  I was alluding to the notion that both of you could have the armor by saving the same village.   It would also help bring your story arc together.

+2 dagger of Impaling 1500
