"That little girl, Rose, seemed to be able to see this thing," Kalana points out to the group. "While I would hate to bring a little girl into the mix like this, if we can get her to point out the Feyr, then we shouldn't have a problem with cancelling out the Feyr's invisibility?" Jaeron nodding his head "You do make a good point. Sure I also share the feeling of not wanting to drag a child into the dangers but if they can spot them we can reveal them and then take them down and protect the girl from harm. Or so I would hope."

"So it sounds like we have a beginning of a plan," Kalana says. "We ask the Rose's father for her help, though we have to make sure that she is protected. Once she points out the Feyr, we can dispel its invisibility, and finish it off," she says. "What are you going to need for your spell, to make the Feyr visible?" she asks.

"We should consider other options as well. If there are potions we can buy in this city to help us see the invisible, then we'll be able to fight the monster even if Jaeron's spell fails. We should also consider trying to find its lair - if we can fight it there, we reduce the risk of harm coming to innocent bystanders. The sage said it would likely be found somewhere abandoned and away from the light - an old house, a cavern or a sewer. We should ask Saren for plans of the city to see if there are any such locations near the refugee camp. The monster feeds on the trauma of the refugees and is undiscovered so far. Even if it's more than a beast, it won't have any reason to lair far from its main source of food."

"I can go speak with Saren about a map," Kalana offers.

As the party discusses what they could or will do, the innkeeper approaches them. "Oh, most of you are here again. There was a fifth one, right? Well, I've prepared the new rooms for you all."

"Ah, there was a fifth, but he didn't make it," Kalana says sadly as she stands up from where she was sitting. "I'll head to the temple to see if I can get a map of this place," she says. "Once we have one, we can plan accordingly." With that said, she leaves to go talk to Saren.

"Oh, I'm so sorry for your...loss," the innkeeper says as Kalana walks past her and leaves.
Kalana makes her way to the temple, and to Saren's office. He's right where she last saw him days ago. The mountain of paperwork on his desk has largely been completed, although there's still quite a bit of it remaining. He looks up and adjusts his glasses when she enters. "Ah, good morning," he says. "Or...no, I suppose it's afternoon now, isn't it?" he asks, looking out the window. "Anyway, I haven't seen you in about four days now. Any progress?"

"Oh, I'm so sorry for your...loss," the innkeeper says as Kalana walks past her and leaves. "Thank you, gnädige Frau," Imrich replies. "Johannas fell battling slavers who had set up an operation in the city to prey on the refugees. A noble death in a noble cause, at least. To Johannas!" Imrich toasts the fallen druid and takes another shot of Teufelstöter.

"Yes, as a matter of fact," Kalana says. "We are dealing with a greater feyr," she explains. "An invisible foe that is preying upon the traumatized," she explains. "It might keep its lair close to the refugees, somewhere abandoned, so I was wondering if you had a map of the area or know of any place that it could keep its lair near where the refugees are being kept."

While discussing Rose part in the plan Senllip mentions, "Well, I'll not give hand to drag her to battle, but in any case as I see it, the Feyr is tracking her, so if we are beside her it is for her own protection, and once she point to it, our first priority would be to protect her and her father, enabling them escape."Just before Kalana stands to go to the temple Senllip says to her, "Don't forget to ask Saren about magic items that can help us fight invisible creatures."=============================================================== (OOC: Sorry for not posting for a while. One obvious suggestion: Let's not rush to this battle unprepared as we did before )

Kalana (Temple of Octhanus, Saren's Office) "You will probably wish to speak with the temple archivist then," Saren responds. "She would have records of the city's building plans dating back to its founding. She's likely down in the archives now, a floor beneath this one."
Senllip, Jaeron and Imrich (Hearthglow Inn, Common Room) "How awful," the innkeeper says. "But hopefully he is in a better place now." After a sullen moment of silence, she hands out the room keys. "Perhaps one of you will give this one to the young woman who already left?"
Imrich takes a third shot, and starts to feel warm and fuzzy all over.

"I think my gnome friend here can be trusted with the key to a lady's room," Imrich chuckles. He pours himself a final shot and downs it before stoppering the bottle and returning it to the innkeeper. "As good as I remember! Thank you!"
He then collects his gear and heads to his room. "I'm off to bed, friends. Need to sleep off the Teufelstöter..."

Kalana (Temple of Octhanus, Archives) Kalana descends into the archives. It isn't quite as large as the library in the university, but it is in far better condition. There are hundreds of books here on the history of the church, the teachings of Octhanus, and just about anything else relating to the faith. A gnomish woman in her late twenties or early thirties is here, tending to the place. She has dark red hair in braids, tanned skin and hazel eyes.
"Good afternoon," she says, as Kalana enters. "Two visitors in one day...this is new," she remarks. "How can I help you? A map of the city? There are the original blueprints when it was first built." She shuffles around in the stacks before finding a book and flipping through it. "Ah, here we go. Yes, there are quite a few abandoned buildings in that part of the city. We're hoping to fix them up so the refugees no longer have to sleep in tents. There's also the sewer system below, but it's fairly crowded and difficult to move around in," she says, something Kalana learned firsthand when she went down there before. There's no way a creature as large as a great feyr could be hanging around down there.
Senllip, Jaeron and Imrich (Hearthglow Inn, Common Room) The innkeeper gives the final key to Jaeron, to hold for Kalana.
That final shot makes Imrich feel every more lightheaded. Paying for the bottle and the rooms, he heads upstairs, his personal chest in one hand and his new clothes in the other.
The room is nicer than the previous one. There's a queen sized bed with satin sheets and goose-feathered pillows. There's a large window giving a nice view of the city, although right now it's letting in harsh sunlight, so Imrich quickly pulls the drapes on it. There's an immaculately clean chamberpot under the bed, a dresser for any clothes, and a spare chest to keep goods in. There's also a small table and chair, in case he wants to take meals in or just sit down to write or read something. And hanging on one wall is a nice painting of the beach on a sunny day.

Imrich makes a CON check [11-15 = -4] autofail. Imrich is now moderately intoxicated. He suffers a -3 to INT, a -4 to WIS, a -2 to DEX, a -1 to CHA, -1 to hit, +1 to HP and a -50% to concentration.
