Delving into alien ruins in search of lost magic. Matching wits with corporate technomancers and their robot army in the gritty streets of a space station. Strafing a dragon-crewed attack cruiser with your starship, defending a new colony from deadly alien predators, or making first contact with a previously unknown alien empire. Whether your tools are laser rifles, powered armor, esoteric magic, or simply your powers of persuasion, the Starfinder Roleplaying Game is a game of heroes who change the face of the galaxy, one adventure at a time.
I was curious whether there was enough interest in the Starfinder game system and setting, so we could gather together a party of 4 or 5 folks to run through a long term AP. It's a fairly simple D20 system, and there is Mythweaver support for sheets and such. If folks *are* interested, but don't have access to the system itself, PM me and I can help you create a character and we can go from there. There are two adventure path's I am interested in running. I will post a trailer for each so you have an idea what the core themes and setting is for each, so if you are interested let me know, and let me know which AP interests you the most ... Attack of the Swarm ... Threefold Conspiracy ...

I've heard of Starfinder. Someone once described it to me as like Spelljammer, but with harder science--like with actual starships that flew through the vacuum of space at FTL speed, as opposed to magic boats and crystal spheres and the phlogiston.
I'd be interested. But I know nothing about how the mechanics work.
As for the modules, the second one sounds more interesting to me. But I'm good with either.

Yeah, Starfinder is a little more hard Sci Fi Fantasy than Spelljammer. Environmental concerns like Zero G, Radiation, are prevalent and common place. Decent-ish rules for starship combat, and roles during that combat, either Captain, Science Officer, Helm, Engineering, Gunnery and what not ...
Attack of the Swarm is combat heavy, but it has some nice emotional gut punches think Band of Brother, the Pacific, Saving Private Ryan mixed with Aliens and Starship Troopers. Whereas Threefold Conspiracy draws heavy influence from X-Files, obviously, but has some political intrigue you would see in Babylon-5 or the Expanse ... shades of Manchurian Canditate too, now that I think about it.

Yeah, the first one sounded more combat oriented and the second one more roleplaying oriented, which is why I was leaning toward it. But I'm good with either, really.

I'd be interested. Particularly the second AP.
