Jaeron sighs if he has the money he would offer it to the merchant but knowing what he has.... the gnome escorts the dwarf back to his ship "I'm sorry captains orders and all...But perhaps I could write about you in my history books? I am one of those types that likes to chronicle about things and their history. Perhaps if you had some time to spare you could tell me a bit about you, your enterprise and it's history?"

"I don't think it was a waste of time! For once we never saw such a display of color in cloth. We all learned a huge lesson here. I already consider to buy similar hat. Second, wow! we witness such treasure! Even not buying it, it ignites imagination. I wish the gods luck will shine on you in your next encounter, and hopefully we get money soon." His smiles turns a bit upside down with his last words.

"Senllip, one of the simplest spells available to magicians creates a magic aura to make common items seem magical, and one of the most difficult spells is the only sure way to identify a true magic item without trial and error."
"Every weapon in that chest radiated magic, but only a few of the dwarf's personal items. Anyone with as large a stock of magic items to sell as he says he does should be wealthy beyond even your wildest dreams, and would surely keep the best items for himself. I find it hard to believe that the only magic he has picked up in all his "wheeling and dealing" is a hat, a ring, and a belt buckle." "
"You should consider the possibility that he's nothing but a fraud, trying to cheat the gullible out of their hard earned money. After all, he can count on being long gone before anyone can truly discover whether they've been sold dud."

"No profit in that," Rakit replies to Jaeron. "Speaking of which, time is money, and any time spent not making money is money lost, as my ma always said. Some other time, maybe." With that, Rakit returns to his ship, withdraws the gangplank, and the cargo ship starts to pull away.

"Not everyone is out just for themselves," Kalana says to Imrich. "He explained his reasoning for having such discounted prices on his stuff, and it makes sense," she says. "I, for one, believe him. At any rate, he isn't harming anyone. We should all go back to work."

Imrich shrugs, clearly not caring what Kalana believes.

Once the Goldmeasure is on its way, the Blue Moon resumes its course. The next few days are largely uneventful. The wind picks up a bit on the third day, Dymin 8th, and another dolphin pod is spotted off the port side. Or perhaps it's the same one as before; it's difficult to tell. On the fourth day, Dymin 9th, the ship turns eastward. As the wind is also blowing that way, speed increases considerably. A couple of the Red Hawks get into a brawl after drinking too much grog, but the cleric is able to break it up with a well placed Hold Person prayer. It's on the morning of the fifth day, Dymin 10th, that Hashadeth comes into view. By noon, the Blue Moon arrives into Tu'Valie harbor. Or what is left of it. It's only been around a month since Kalana, Jaeron and Senllip last set eyes upon the city, but it's radically different now. The harbor has been partially repaired, so it can receive ships, but most of the city still lies in ruin. Buildings are collapsed entirely, or charred from flame. The governor's isle is a smoking ruin, as if the focus of the attack had been there. A small shanty town of sorts has been quickly set up by the docks, and it looks like of the remaining residents who haven't fled to other islands, they are currently living there. After docking and setting the gangplank to disembark, an elven woman with short-cropped hair approaches. "Ahoy!" she calls. "Welcome to Tu'Valie. I'm with the harbormaster. Got no records of a Blue Moon, so I need to ask you a few questions--where are you sailing in from, and what's your business here?" =============== It is now Dymin 10th at 12 PM. Jaeron may choose new spells for the day. Food is reduced by 110 lbs, grog is reduced by 390 gallons.

"We are sailing from Sanctuary," Kalana calls down to the elven woman. "We have passengers looking for work, just as we are. We will probably need to stock up on supplies, and we are looking for the members of the Tiaru. I also plan on seeking out some old friends, if they have returned at all that is," Kalana says.

"Sanctuary? From the city of Serenity, if I may ask?" the woman asks as she furiously scribbles down everything Kalana says onto her clipboard. "If so, have you heard any news about the refugees there? Are they safe and well?"
She adds, "The Tiaru? That's a Blue Lightning ship. Why would you be searching for them?"

"The refugees there are well," Kalana says. "And we are searching for it because we were members of the crew. We were just leaving here when we got caught up in the attack, and thrown from the ship," she explains. "We clearly got a new ship, but our search for the Tiaru continues. Those people....well a lot of them were like family."

The woman nods, relieved to hear the refugees are well. "The Tiaru is one of the few Blue Lightning ships that survived the attack. It had just left port when it happened, so they turned around and returned to help out. Her crew have been aiding with rebuilding for weeks now, but she departed a few days ago."

After hearing Imrich explanation about Rakit, Senllip says in wonder, "His hat is magical?? Wow... I MUST get such a hat."
When they get to Tu'Vlie sadness fills his heart. Later he asks the harormaster, "Do you know Flinn and Rose?"

Jaeron "Drat we missed them...well onto other business how fares the church of Gonto?" the gnome asks the woman. "I'm not sure," the woman admits. "Many buildings were damaged or destroyed, but some weren't. You can ask around the shanty town. All of our inns and taverns are closed, but someone has opened up a makeshift tavern here on the docks, and you might learn more there." Later he asks the harormaster, "Do you know Flinn and Rose?""No, but if you are looking for them or anyone else, you might try the tavern I mentioned," she answers. "Just about everyone left in town visits there at some point."

"Do you have any idea where they were sailing for?" Kalana asks. "It might help us plot our next course."
