Eliana smiled brightly at Chantilly from under her hood of her cloak, especially upon seeing how happy she was that she was able to use magic. "That's great, Chantilly!" she exclaims. Despite not knowing Chantilly long, Eliana had already decided that she was going to be Chantilly's cheerleader as she embarked upon her discovery of magic.
"As for why I didn't send you with Caelin is because I didn't really want to separate all of us. Plus, your new found friend was making a lot of noise," Eliana points out. "Maybe, once Caelin reports back, I can send you ahead. You two can take turns."

Zakkoth have bought a small barrel of ale and a new armor. Maybe he is a mystic on endless spiritual journey, but in the end he is a simple creature with simple needs. He noted to himself, that yet were a leader to be determined. Bad omen. Rain. He cursed and spat. He didnt liked the idea of water falling from heaven. It was cold and nasty. He felt bad enough... to try something.
the draconian kneel down, cut his wrist, spilling blood and pouring ale into a small puddle, finising this wierd ceremony by slamming his holy symbol into the puddle. He mamble and wishper in draconic.

Caelin Valaerys, pariah of TakhisisARMOR CLASS: 14 | HIT POINTS: 24 | CURRENT: 24 | HIT DIE: 3d8 | CURRENT: 3d8 PASSIVE PERCEPTION: 15 | PASSIVE INSIGHT: 17 | INSPIRATION: 1 The scent of rot was nothing new to Caelin, who had climbed through sewers, filth, and worse while serving the very Cult he now hunted. He carefully surveyed the campsite, aware that his companions were approaching from the rear, he moved towards the three graves. Unsure of whether or not they would prove useful, he erred on the side of caution, collecting the symbols of the dead god, before moving through the clearing. He set a marker indicating the direction he was leading the group, given their last encounter with the guards posted at the pass, he decided to circumvent it, and head towards the larger encampment, confident their climbing equipment would let them descend securely, and quietly if so needed. {Out of Character Actions}OOC: Not sure if any rolls are required from me, but just leading the group wide around the narrower pass where we encountered the rear guard post on our last venture towards the camp. Not sure of the exact layout, but if I recall there was a cliff face on the west side of the valley, from where we could observe the main area of the camp, and the cave where we had been taken to Mondath and Cyanwrath.

Henry - HP: 28\28 - Conditions: None - Active Effects: NoneHearing the squire talking about magic reminded her about something she wanted to ask him: " Well, you have both right? Steel... and magic too? How was it the first time you used it?" "I'm not a sorcerer or a wizard. Besides, whatever gift I possess I mostly use to punch people really hard in their face when they anger me. Well, that and healing wounds - which is fine, can't really count how many times Conard made me bleed when we were training." Henry then points at Zakkoth "What I do is closer to old Zakkoth than whatever you or Eliana do. Sir Frume told me there Knights that serve Takhisis that have a similar gift. Have a feeling the woman Caelin and I met met back at the camp might be one of them."

Chantilly SweettoothHP: 27/27 - AC: 17 - Perception: 15 - Insight: 11 - Inspiration: Yes " Uh, okay." - a doubtful expression colors Chantilly's face. - " I didn't know you could use magic to punch people in the face. And I can't really picture you doing that." Then, her attention goes back to Eliana: " Thanks, Lady Eliana!" - she says with a big smile. - " I can also do this...RAT!" - As she utters that word a small rat appears on her hand. - " Magic is awesome, I wonder if I'll also be able to punch people in the face with it like Henry does!"

"Hmm, I don't think Henry uses magic to punch people in the face," Eliana says while looking down at the rar in Chantilly's hand. She wrinkles her nose a little bit, as she isn't a big fan of rats. "I think that is his own strength."

Caelin Caelin removes the icons of Takhisis from the three grave markers, and stuffs them into his pack. He then continues on, making sure to take a wide path around the area where the rearguard had been stationed before.
He meets no resistance or has any trouble. After a couple more hours, he arrives at the raider's camp just as the sun hits its zenith. Surprisingly, the camp looks quite different now--it is almost entirely abandoned. The stinking huts of the kobolds have been burned to the ground, but the huts for the cultists and mercs still stand, as do the two guard towers (although neither appears to be manned any longer). Within the camp itself, Caelin only spots four people, all near the entrance. They are not dressed as cultists or mercs, but rather like the hunters he and Henry encountered before. They don't seem to be guarding the entrance, just sort of milling about over there.
Zakkoth, Eliana, Henry, Chantilly and Benyt After a bit of time, the others reach the former campsite of the stragglers. The kobold bodies are exactly where the party left them--reeking to high heaven and being pecked at by crows. The human bodies, however, are gone. There is a row of three crude graves, however, each marked with a single plank of wood.
The human and kobold they left tied up to a tree are missing. There is no sign of either of them.
There is also a marker, left by Caelin, indicating what direction to go.
Chantilly examines the planks of wood. No writing is on them, but one of the planks--the center one--has a carving on it resembling a rose.

Chantilly SweettoothHP: 27/27 - AC: 17 - Perception: 15 - Insight: 11 - Inspiration: Yes " Uh?" - Chantilly, who was absorbed by the carving on the plank, winced, taken aback by Benyt's words. - " Oh, I think... This is the grave of Fenn's sister." She seems lost in her thoughts, her mood definitely dampened. " And that's the sign left by Caelin, I think it's safe to go that way." - she continues, in an hurry to leave that place.

Eliana covers her nose to help protect her from the smell of rotting flesh. "So Fenn was probably here at some point," she says. "But let's follow the path that Caelin left for us."

Caelin Valaerys, pariah of TakhisisARMOR CLASS: 16 | HIT POINTS: 24 | CURRENT: 24 | HIT DIE: 3d8 | CURRENT: 3d8 PASSIVE PERCEPTION: 15 | PASSIVE INSIGHT: 17 | INSPIRATION: 1 Caelin, not wishing to alert the hunters, whom he had spoken to during his failed infiltration of the camp, swung a wide circle around the group. However, they were skilled rangers, and trackers, so he took his time, leaving markers for the rest of his companions who would be minutes behind, warning them to caution. Instead he moved south and east, until he was opposite the northern plateau, where the abandoned guard tower stood. Below the cliff face were the huts that housed the twisted dragonwrought raiders, now burnt to ash, still smouldering. Curious, that. He crept forward on his stomach to observe the scene at the camp, paying particular interest to any movement at the eastern face of the valley, where the cave entrance was located. {Out of Character Actions}OOC: Not sure how, actually, abandoned the towers are, so let's go with a stealth check as I creep up to the southern precipice, Stealth=1d20+8=G3hbr91E1d20+8, and I will wait there for the group, which should only be 5 or 10 minutes behind, watching the entrance to the cave where me & Henry were taken to speak with Mondath and crew. Perception=1d20+5=1d20+5. Hopefully this doesn't blow up in our MY face! 1d20+8·1d20+5

Henry - HP: 28\28 - Conditions: None - Active Effects: None
"Weird." Henry says mostly to himself, eyes peeled on the surroundings "I mean, a couple of days ago we found sentinels on our path. Now, nothing. I mean, I imagined they would be much more cautious since Caelin and I escaped. It's like they're not really worried." the squire snorts, seemingly bothered by something "That woman, Mondath. She seemed so sure - of herself, of her cause, of her victory. Can't deny I was a bit smitten by her self-confidence. Now I wonder what the Cult has up in its sleeve that make her so positive Solamnia could do nothing to stop her."

Caelin Avoiding the entrance, Caelin makes his way around the camp, toward the northern watchtower. From here, he can look down into the camp easily. The only movement, however, are the hunters. There are no signs of any kobolds, cultists or even mercenaries. From his vantage point, there is no activity at the cave, either. It stands unguarded. He does notice that the hunters do on occasion glance over at it nervously. They do not come anywhere close to it, though, sticking close to the camp entrance.
Zakkoth, Eliana, Henry, Chantilly and Benyt The party moves on, following Caelin's markings. They lead them far around the area where the rearguard previously waited. They meet no resistance or have any trouble. After a couple more hours, they arrive at the raider's camp shortly after the sun hits its zenith. Surprisingly, the camp looks quite different now--it is almost entirely abandoned. The stinking huts of the kobolds have been burned to the ground, but the huts for the cultists and mercs still stand, as do the two guard towers (although neither appears to be manned any longer). Within the camp itself, they only spot four people, all near the entrance. They are not dressed as cultists or mercs, but rather like the hunters who brought in food last time the party was here. They don't seem to be guarding the entrance, just sort of milling about over there.
Markings left from Caelin suggest he did not enter the camp, but headed around the north side.
